I was very surprised by the service of this hotel. I had a terrible experience with a similar one, so I didn’t expect much, but they did their best to prove they were reliable and convenient choice for a layover. At first, my mom and I got left behind by the hotel’s free shuttle bus service. The driver didn’t mind me when I was trying to stop him. Good thing the hotel staff were always available to chat via email since I don’t have WeChat, and they sent a car to pick us up. A huge plus that they don’t lie about their shuttle bus schedule. It was exactly the same as they promised it in my hotel booking. We had a good rest until our next flight and were brought to the airport by the shuttle. A hotel staff member rode with us and help with our luggage. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious enough. It was quite cold so we turned on the aircon and 20C made it cozy. We had some annoying moments with our neighbors who were noisy and smoked even if it’s not allowed in the hotel. I emailed the staff and they fixed he problem quickly. I would like to mention that everyone was very friendly and helpful, unlike in the other hotel. I’ll made a review for that too. Thank you so much for your hospitality! I stayed at this hotel due to its convenient location near the airport, which was great for saving travel time. However, the noise from the nearby planes made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. On top of that, I suspect the cleanliness of the bed could be improved, as my legs felt itchy throughout the night. While the location is ideal, the experience could be enhanced with better soundproofing and more attention to cleanliness.

Maixinge Boutique Hotel near Pudong Airport was a fantastic choice for my solo trip! 🛫 Its location is super convenient, with easy metro access and a free airport shuttle. The room was spotless, with comfy bedding and blackout curtains for great sleep. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist me. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious and varied! While there was no gym, the quiet ambiance made up for it. Bonus: evening treats like green bean soup added a cozy touch. For the price, it’s unbeatable. I’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ #HiddenGem 😊

Shanghai airport hotel Room:- basic room to have a short break before early flight. Basic amenities provided Location:- 10 mins drive from the Pudong airport. Very rural area and you might thought wrong place to be arrived Price:- very reasonable Plus side: free airport shuttle Bad side: hardly get any rest actually as you hear planes take off and landing throughout the night.

Near airport and provide free airport transfer service. Need to make earlier appointment with hotel for the airport transfer service. Good choice if you are staying up to transit to airport or to town. Quite some grocery shop and breakfast nearby as well as bus stop station.

Location is bit scary but they provide pick up & drop off service that’s why if you stay short time that’s okay

I had a wonderful stay here! I was looking for a place near the airport to stay the night after my flight landed at midnight. Happened to find this hotel which had a reasonable price and was somewhat near the airport. The free hourly shuttle bus to and from the airport was a bonus! It’s approx 15 min drive from the airport, and you can choose to take a cab (Didi) instead if you don’t want to wait for the shuttle. The shuttle bus is old and rather rickety and a bumpy ride, but I didn’t mind at all. Please remember to make a reservation for the shuttle bus through the hotel’s wechat. They are super responsive via wechat by the way! The staff were so proactive and helped me with my luggage when i got off the bus. While waiting to check in, they served me a cup of tea as well. The kind staff also escorted me to my room with my luggage (not sure if it’s because I was a solo female traveller and it was 2am) which was really kind of them: Overall super value for money if you’re looking for somewhere near the airport!

It's little cold and noisy, but we took that into account. On the whole, everything was fine. Spending the night before departure is the best option for price and quality.

I booked this airport hotel in Shanghai mainly because of its proximity to the airport and the advertised shuttle service. However, the shuttle only runs once an hour and only departs from Terminal 2. If you arrive at Terminal 1 at night, you first have to make your way to Terminal 2 and then hope you don’t just miss the shuttle—otherwise, you’re stuck waiting for up to an hour for the next one. Because of this, we ended up taking a taxi, which cost about 50% of the room rate on top of the overnight price. That definitely made the stay more expensive than expected. On the plus side, the shuttle back to the airport in the morning was punctual and even dropped us off at Terminal 1, so no complaints there. The hotel itself looks exactly like the pictures, but the rooms are not as well-maintained as they appear online. There were cracks in the ceiling and corners of the room. The lighting was pretty minimal, but at least everything was clean. The biggest issue was the temperature. It was around freezing outside, and the window was left open when we arrived. There was no heating, only an air conditioner, which was turned off. As a result, the entire room was absolutely freezing—probably close to the outside temperature. We had to struggle with the remote, which was only in Chinese, to turn on the heating. Even after setting it to 30°C, the room never really warmed up, so it was far from cozy. This was by far the biggest downside of the stay. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable, and we slept relatively well. However, the hotel is right in the airport’s flight path, so it’s quite noisy. The rooms are also very poorly soundproofed, so earplugs (which are provided) are highly recommended. For the price, it was okay, but I wouldn’t stay here for more than a few hours of sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth.

Very good service, good location to airport, free airport transfer

Convenient location and good pick up service from Airport . Comfortable bed with good air conditioning that works very well in cold evening . We had to leave earlier than originally planned and were able to get earlier hotel transport without hassle.Helpful reception staff and check in was quick and efficient. Good Hotel that would stay and use again .

Free pick up and drop off. Pick up is every hour at 9, 10 etc. drop off is every hour at 9.30, 10.30. Something to take note because I don’t know what time is the pick up, I only know it’s every hour. So I missed the bus at 10.05pm, had to wait until 11pm. The bus is beige yellow, have the hotel name (in Chinese) printed on the bus. There was too many buses and Didi at that meeting point, so I’m glad that it is easy to differentiate. For one night layover, it’s good. Towels etc are plastic packaged for hygiene. My next day flight is 5pm, they allowed me to come down and check out around 2pm to catch the bus to airport. I chose 1.30pm at the end.
