We had a wonderful stay at the Andaz in Shanghai, made even better by the exceptional service we received from Lynn at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Lynn went out of her way to assist us with our room and check-in, communicating clearly and confidently in English, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The hotel is ideally located, close to restaurants, shops, and some of Shanghai’s most exciting attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, a true retreat after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and high standard of service truly stood out. Thank you, Lynn, for your kindness and professionalism. You made our stay at the Andaz unforgettable. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai!

Hotel located on great location near subway Huge room. Very comfy bed

Strategic location, right next to Xintiandi, surrounded by many restaurants and shopping. Breakfast buffet was delicious with many options to choose from. Service was also impeccable. Highly recommended.

Nice location for the area but big contruction in front without notice, room has seen better days not well maintained for the price, this would not be acceptable anywhere else, international Tv channels terrible resolution quality.

Enjoyed my stay as always. Although the hotel seemed quite full and busy but Peter at the reception arranged my favorite type of room and patiently explained about the hotel facilities and services. Thanks a lot!

Location is fabulous in stylish Xintiandi, a great area for shopping & dining. Rooms are spacious, equipped with mood lighting, however I find it a bit dark for my liking. Bathroom has LED built mood lighting installed on the bathtub and one on the wash basin which feels a bit tacky. But hey, it’s not everyday you would see those kind of features in your bathroom. Breakfast is good. Happy hour with free flow wine and champagne every evening at their lobby lounge are really appreciated. The pool & gym on basement floor on the other hand feel a bit underwhelming.

I stay in room 805 for 4 night, but the last night i stay on saturday the light sensor and air conditioner have a problem, every 1 hour the light sensor and ac will turn off by themselves, i call 2 times to guest service, the engineering staff came and check then 1 hour later i call them again then the staff turned off the sensor, he said everything will be ok after the sensir turn off, I'm shocked and it feels scary. error for the whole night and cant sleep for whole night, beside scary, staff hotel cant solve it well. I really dissapointed stay in andaz. As i know andaz is 5 stars hotel but not suitable for the service.

The location is within walking distance of all the malls and F&B outlets. However, the staff is rude; the concierge service lady is not very friendly. I walked into the check-in counter and saw the staff talking rudely to another customer. I booked breakfast as well but only went for one day. The service staff there are very rude too. Suppose you ordered noodles or eggs. They will service your table but throw the clip number tag back to you instead of placing it nicely on the table. I guess all the service staff must go through another training course to speak to and treat the customer politely.  That room is pretty old. The sofa has been washed off and looks dirty, the TV frame is cracked, and the toilet bowl is dirty. The bathroom amenities are terrible, especially the shampoo. It smells like laundry wash and is bad for the scalp.

Everything is good but here is some suggested improvement 1. Install few more hangers in bathroom. We can hang two towels inside 2. Have usb charger at two side of bed 👍
