The hotel location is not good if someone has to explore Shanghai, but metro station is quite near to it like walking distance. Room and bed are spacious and clean. The staff is so cooperative

Star Hotel near Shanghai Hongqiao National Exhibition Center is a decent option for solo travelers. The rooms are clean, and the location is pretty good, especially for those attending events at the exhibition center. It’s a bit far from the airport, though, so don’t expect a quick commute. The Wi-Fi isn’t great, and there’s no dining on-site, but you’ll find plenty of restaurants nearby. Overall, it’s a simple and affordable place to stay, but not perfect.

Terrible. Dirty, usafe and nothing like the photos. The room i booked was without windows, and when i arrived it was dirty, no lock at the door, corridor was onto a storage, no common areas like advertised, dirty bathroom. When we told these problems to receptuon, they said it was because we booked the room with no windows. Does no windows mean dirty and unsfae? Unacceptable, really. Only after involving a friend who speaks Chinese we were moved to another rooom (they asked us to pay extra).

The location is not super good but the hotel is honestly quite clean and worthwhile for the location

This is my second time around to stay here in the hotel.. easy access for MRT its not hard to find and theres a lot of cheap and good food around the area there is near bank that you can withdraw.. people and staff their are so accomodating and they assist what you need. I think i loke they clean your room everyday and they chnage your towel and other amenities.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The room had a strange, unpleasant odor from the moment I walked in. It was clear that the cleaning standards were subpar, as I found a cigarette butt and a used tissue on the floor. Additionally, there was dust and hair scattered throughout the room, making it clear that it hadn’t been properly cleaned. I expected much better and would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Overall, the service has been good, and I’m satisfied with most aspects. However, I’ve noticed that while the rooms do have windows, they don’t open to the outside, so there’s no access to fresh air.

Enjoyed my stay there and I will definitely come again. Thank you for great service.

Good hotel ! Cheap but service is comfy and clean ! Little bit « far » from Shanghai center but it’s only 5 minutes by walk from the metro station which go to the central town so it’s really convenient !

Access from the nearest station is very good and also the price is nice. There is a local supermarket and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. They serve only shampoo so you need to bring a body soap and conditioner. I’m very satisfied. Thank you.

Amazing subways

Nice and Clean rooms. Friendly staff and very economical for the amenities provided. Metro station is at walking distance which provides extreme convenience for the travelers who are visiting to explore Shanghai attractions.
