Puchao Hotel

I stayed here as a solo traveler. It's located right outside Exit 6 of East Nanjing Road Station. For those using Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, it's easily accessible, taking less than five minutes. There's also a convenience store right outside the station, making it very convenient. The front desk staff used a translator to help me with any issues I had during my stay. Two bottles of water are provided each day, but since I was traveling alone and spent most of my time outside, I didn't drink much, but for people who drink a lot of water, it's a great option. It's not particularly clean, but I was able to get a decent amount of sleep and the bathroom facilities were acceptable, so it didn't bother me too much. The location and service are great, so if cleanliness isn't an absolute must, I highly recommend this place!

It's located on Ningbo Road, very close to East Nanjing Road Station, and is also right next to the busy Nanjing Road shopping district, making it very convenient. The price was cheap, so I was prepared for an older room and some dirt. When I checked in, I was told I could cancel for free if I didn't like the room, but I thought it would be fine, so I stayed. The hot water and the air conditioning were great, but there were mosquitoes in the room, and there were many mosquito bites on the walls and ceiling, which didn't last long, so it was disappointing. Aside from the mosquito issue, it was fine.
