This time, I specifically chose the Atour Hotel at Shanghai People's Square Subway Station for my trip to Shanghai. I stayed there for two consecutive nights with my children. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the camphorwood decor, and the warm light shimmering on the marble floors created a sense of luxury and relaxation, completely unlike the alienating feeling of a traditional hotel. The front desk lady was incredibly efficient, checking me in in just three minutes and even offering Atour's cold-brewed peach oolong tea, a refreshing treat in the sweltering summer heat. The front desk lady even gave me a free upgrade, which my children thoroughly enjoyed. Atour's bedding is impeccable, feeling like a cloud, and the pillows are available in both soft and firm options. The bathroom features a three-part design, a smart toilet with a heated coil (perfect for winter!), and the shower has just the right amount of water pressure. The shower gel has a niche woody scent that leaves a subtle aftertaste. The most surprising feature is the semi-intelligent features: a sensor light under the bed automatically turns on when I wake up in the middle of the night, completely unobtrusive. There's also a wireless charging pad hidden by the desk, which is incredibly convenient. Breakfast is a buffet style, combining both Chinese and Western dishes, with stir-fries, bread, yogurt, fruit, coffee, and a variety of steamed pastries. Best of all, they even have oden and a popcorn machine! The location is also fantastic: a 10-minute walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and a 3- or 4-minute walk from subway stations 1, 2, and 8. It's very convenient. There's also a variety of snacks downstairs. It's a worry-free choice for families, and a comfortable choice for family vacations. I've already been hooked by Yaduo! I'll definitely stay there again next time!
