Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station Laon Reviews

The location was near the subway station, about a 5-8mins walk and very near to shopping malls and convenience stores. Just right outside the hotel, on the opposite side of the road, there is a 24hrs convenience store. The hotel is so spacious for 2 people, and there is also a lift for travellers with big luggages. Only downside is that the check-in is at 6pm but they have a free luggage storage. There is also a hair dryer, hair iron, free soft drinks and water, hair spray and hair oil and also phone wires for charging. Will definitely come back to stay again! So happy with my stay here.

Room is small

I recommend this hotel! The location is great, there are many restaurants nearby, a convenience store opposite, and close to the subway. The room is fully equipped with daily necessities, and I didn't expect that there was even hair spray and hair gel!I will book this hotel next time!👍🏻🌟

Location was awesome, nearby Dongdaemum history and culture park station. The hotel is also nearby the airport limousine bus stop 6001, which is convenient. Overall the stay was great, free water was provided as well. Hot water shower with great pressure.

Great location but not so good being upstairs if restaurants a lot of oil and food smell

Nice little hotel. The owner is very nice. We arrived around 4:30pm, and he checked us in. According to trip.com the check in time was from 3pm, but it is wrong. The hotel allows check in from 6pm. The room is not big but clean and neat.

There are many restaurants downstairs in the hotel, which is very convenient. It is also very close to the subway station. The sound insulation is average. The disadvantage is that the toilet will automatically turn off the light, and the shower head needs to be turned on very wide to get enough water. 

I decided to stay here because there are many lines 🚃 (You can get to Hongdae, Seongsu, Gangnam green lines and Myeongdong, Seoul light blue lines in one line) The hotel is surprisingly far from the station after you exit the ticket gate, and if you want to use the exit with the elevator, you will be even further away from the hotel. We stayed with two people, and there was one bath towel and three face towels, which was a bit of a strange number. I told the front desk that I wanted one more bath towel and they gave me one. Also, it seems that cleaning can be done if you ask in advance. Also, as other reviews have said, when you take a shower, water comes out of the area where you take off your shoes even if the door is closed, so I think it's fine if you take a shower away from the door. There is a water server at the front desk, and disposable chopsticks were available. Check-in is from 6pm, and I arrived after 5pm, but the room seemed to be ready and I was able to enter immediately. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It's close to the station, there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and night shopping is within walking distance, so it's convenient. The staff were very helpful and explained things to me using a translation app, so it was easy to understand. The room was clean and there was plenty of room to spread out two suitcases. The bathroom floor gets wet when you use the shower, so there are special sandals provided. We stayed as a couple, but there was only one bath towel each time, so we had to go back and get an extra one. It was a bit of a hassle to have to tell them every time that the room was cleaned. There was luggage on the stairs, so it was a bit difficult to get through. I was bothered by the sound of water, perhaps from the shower on the upper floor late at night. Overall I'm satisfied. I'd like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Get off at Dongdaemun History and Culture Station, take Exit 4, and take the elevator. Then cross a large road and turn right when you see Mega Coffee. Walk for 30 seconds and you will arrive. (Remember to put it back after use) You can also order delivery to your room door Although the room is small, it has floor heating and air conditioning Although the room is small, a 30-inch suitcase can be fully opened. There are hair dryers, ion hair clips, two bottles of drinks and two bottles of water, combs, hair spray, qualitative spray, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and bath towels. They will also ask if you need a toothbrush. Great location! Near the metro, bus stops and DDP!! Not far from the limousine bus stop from Incheon airport! The only inconvenience is the lack of cabinets and bedside tables.... there is absolutely nowhere to put things! Had to open the suitcase all the time... But even this small minus does not reduce the high rating! SUPER! We will come back again!

The front desk staff was very kind!! They don't speak Japanese, but we were able to communicate using a translation app. They also clean the room every day if you request it! The location was great, with restaurants and a bus stop nearby, so it was great! I'd like to use it again.

The room was spacious and we both had our suitcases open. I was very happy that we could take the water from the refrigerator in front of the front desk anytime, in addition to the water that was already in the refrigerator. You can also drink coffee. The bathroom was spacious and nice, but it seemed a little bit poorly cleaned. On the first day, the jacuzzi was broken and I couldn't use it, but when I asked them to check, they were ready to use it that day, which was nice. There were no amenities such as toothbrushes and hair oil, but there was a hair dryer, straightener, hairspray, two types of brushes, and if you needed towels, you could always get more. Cleaning was only done on the days you requested, so there was no need to worry about people coming in without permission. The TV was large, so I was happy that I could watch not only Netflix and YouTube, but also Disney+ and TVing. It was a little difficult to get used to how to turn the lights on and off, and the fact that you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet was a bit of a downside, but other than that, I had a very comfortable stay.
