The room was very small but clean and well-equipped. The location is good, near bus stops, and there is a shop on the first floor. The staff is welcoming and ready to help.

Very convenient and helpful also different nationalities, friendly, And lots of Places close by to eat and drink 🙌🏽👍🏼👍🏼and down stairs market .

The guesthouse is within walking distance from Hyehwa Station. The nightlife around this estate is also very lively, so rest assured should you need to return back later in the evening. The complimentary breakfast served is decent - you get a choice of toasted bread with spread, instant ramen or oatmeal. This is coupled with some milk, fruit juice, coffee, tea and water. However, you will need to prepare the meals yourself and clean the dishes after that. A caution that the room can seem rather small and cramped (for those needing a spacious design when selecting your overseas accommodation). My individual shower facilities also had a stench odour of what seemed like sewage, which was the main disappointing portion. If not, the rest of the facilities are good enough - e.g. The toilet bowls are clean and fitted with smart toilet seats, providing a warm sitting experience for those relieving yourselves during the winter season in Korea. The hosts were also very friendly, despite their limited proficiency in spoken English Language. There is also a shared desktop computer for your internet usage in the balcony, as well as a smart television in each room with internet-based programmes (e.g. Netflix, YouTube, Disney Plus etc.). I will strongly recommend this accommodation to those seeking a value-for-money option, solo travellers wanting a communal yet safe space to have a roof under their heads for the night. Not for the introverted nature - you will have plenty of opportunities to interact and dine with many strangers, of which some might become your global friend!

Budget accommodation with helpful staff who however may not be around in the early morning. Free eggs, bananas, milk and juice available 24/7. Small room with a private bathroom and shared toilets. Within 10 mins walk from the train station with a supermarket underneath, an opposite convenient store, Daiso and Olive Young nearby. Had a nice short stay there.

Good value right next to Sungkyunkwan

The room is small, and the toilet is outside, which is a bit inconvenient. You need to change into the slippers provided by the hotel when you enter the room. I didn't know this when I booked it, otherwise I might have chosen another hotel. Although the toilet is outside, the sanitation is good and clean. The sound insulation of the room is not very good. The coughing sound from the next room is very clear. Fortunately, everyone will not speak loudly after late at night, but there is noise from time to time on the street facing the street, even at one, two, three or four in the morning.

The hotel staff was very kind. They explained the hotel rules to me, who is not good at English, kindly and carefully. The water pressure is low, but it is tolerable.

For a solo traveler, this kind of accommodation is the most cost-effective. I stayed for four nights and was not disturbed. It was very clean. I did not experience the free breakfast and did not sit on the balcony. But I visited the kitchen and balcony on the first day. They were clean and tidy, and there were a lot of ingredients in the refrigerator. Disadvantages: The Internet speed is not very good and not very stable. I could not connect to Wi-Fi on the second and third nights. Suggestion: Do not live in a house near the toilet, because you can occasionally hear the sound of the toilet door opening and closing and the sound of the washing machine turning. The boss is very nice. Although we don't speak the language, he slowly explained to me the equipment to be used and the precautions. He also provides 24-hour free drinks, coffee, instant noodles, curry and rice. It's very good and just right for a solo trip!
