Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park Reviews

We booked this place because it’s close to the Puffing Billy railway. It has free parking, good staff, good breakfast and super modern new room. As I know it was built 2 years ago so it’s quite new! Recommend it.

Everything is good except suddenly the lights went out for few seconds. And it happens twice in one night. Hopefully Hyatt will fix this issued. It should not have happened because it's Hyatt hotel.

The two-bedroom room is suitable for family outings. The living room TV can be projected. I watched the Spring Festival Gala and it was very good. There is a Rhino supermarket and an Asian supermarket in the alley behind the hotel, which are open until 3 o'clock. There are delicious dumplings. The hotel has a laundry room and dryer. There are only two dryers. You have to queue up and bring your own laundry detergent. The gym is very small and stuffy, so don't go there. The transportation is very convenient. You can walk to most attractions. There are shopping malls, supermarkets, and international food nearby. The Vietnamese pho across the road is delicious. The Korean barbecue Woo399, which is open at night, smells good but tastes a bit greasy.

You must have a car, otherwise the location is very far. The room is nice and the staff is also very nice

The bar downstairs is very nice and has a great atmosphere at night. The hotel service and hygiene are worthy of the Hyatt grade, parking is also convenient, and the distance to the steam train is just right.
