Sanya Haitang District Hotels

TLDR: Had really high expectations when I booked this 5 diamond hotel, however the stay experience fell short from the expectations. The Good: + Was offered room upgrade to sea view room during checked in. + Interior and exterior design of the hotel is really sets a relaxing tone to the entire stay. + It was a nice touch having Bellboys to help us with luggage and open doors whenever we arrive at the hotel lobby + Staffs and cleaners greeted us was also a nice touch + Breakfast options are extensive (including fresh juice bar and daily special juice concoction) + Free hotel activities to do daily + Gym is well maintained and a good number of machines The Bad - (Presales) Didn’t appreciate the fact that the booking page didn’t state the hotel deposit amount (which is slightly more than 1 time the hotel room price) and was only mentioned during check-in. Prior the trip, I tried to ask about whether there’s any hotel deposit via Trip.com message to hotel function and there’s no reply at all. (I mean a 3 diamond star hotel I stayed previous replied… but a 5 diamond star hotel didn’t). - (Not controllable) Sadly, there’s construction going on and can see cranes and construction machinery hindering the view of the sea, as well as the noises. - There’s supposedly a butler assigned to each guest, but my butler only added me on WeChat several hours after checkin. Also, was asking the butler about one of the afternoon hotel was still going on as we reached the venue and there’s no one around. He said he will check and then no reply for 20mins before I messaged him to inform that we won’t be waiting anymore. Didn’t appreciate that there’s no follow up. - The shower control knob will suddenly fall off at certain angle which can be rather dangerous given that it has quite a weight to it. - The bathtub’s shower head keeps leaking when we turned the other tap on to fill the bathtub, and we had to put the shower head into the bathtub to prevent flooding. All in all, it fell short on expectations in terms of the service compared to the service my partner and I had experienced in a 3 diamond star hotel at a fraction of this hotel’s price. Nonetheless, it is really a gorgeous place to stay in. Tastefully decorated and smell really great. Most of the staffs are friendly.

The room is nice and the family is quite comfortable. Pickup and drop-off are also available. The housekeeper is always online. Cleaning is also timely. Because of the Spring Festival, I only stayed for 6 nights. It's not enough. I will come again next time if I have the chance.

For a family trip, you can only choose a two-bedroom, one-living room apartment. It is just right for four adults and two children. The room is fully equipped. The beach is just across the villa area. Takeout is convenient and timely. The sea view room has a wide view. The swimming pool downstairs is quite clean. It is convenient to go to Atlantis Water World, but the children are too young to go. I went to the C show (overall it is OK). All the decorations of the serviced apartments are the same. There are people on other floors who may have just arrived at midnight. They are the kind of people who are more excited. They yell on the balcony and even yell at each other, which affects their rest. This may be within the scope of property management. It has nothing to do with the hotel itself and is not easy to solve. It is recommended that the hotel can report it to the property and let the property staff on duty at midnight to solve it.

The place was beautiful and very relax for stay. The location is Just a little far from the city but if you are planning to rest and have a nice time with your family ir friends, this place is perfect. I loved the view from the balcony, the pool and sky looks really pacefully. I recomend this place💯. The service was very Nice and they guya always kind and help you with the luggages because no there elevator Also they gave me a disscount because I wanted to change the room. Very Nice 😍

The hotel is in a good location, only a 10-minute walk to the beach. There is a children's playground in the hotel, as well as a large swimming pool with clean water. The hotel rooms are clean and hygienic, spacious and bright, very suitable for family living and parent-child travel. It is also very close to the duty-free shop and convenient for travel. The aquarium and Water World are right next to it!

The environment is super good. There is a short passage leading to the Atlantis Hotel and the amusement park, and it shares a beach with the hotel. The store has good service, replies to messages quickly, and upgraded the room. The balcony of the room is a beautiful view of the sea and sky. There are Hainan delicacies coconut 🥥 chicken and dregs vinegar nearby. I came here to eat a Wenchang chicken every day, which is really not delicious enough. I also have to try the dregs vinegar. I recommend the mandarin duck pot. The dregs vinegar seafood in the Atlantis amusement park is recommended to add one. The hotel butler service is meticulous, the room facilities are complete, you can cook, the indoor and outdoor environment is first-class, and even the air is moist. It is very close to the duty-free shop and Wuzhizhou Island, and it is convenient for travel. Staying for five days and four nights in a row was an unforgettable and happy trip. I will come here again next time🥰🥰

The house is very new. The back door of the villa is the beach, and next to it is Atlantis Water World. It is a villa suitable for bringing children to live in! The butler service is great👍, full of praise

Pick-up at Houhai Village: The pick-up service is very good. The room is very clean and tidy. The overall experience is good. The sea view balcony is very nice. The feeling of vacation is very comfortable. I will come again next time. The sound of waves hitting the rocks is also very nice.

The boss is very nice. I was inspired by his cheerful attitude towards life! He lent me his little corgi Tutu to play with. Tutu is really well behaved and loves to dig holes on the beach. Hahahaha~ The boss was also very kind to introduce me to travel tips and cheap and delicious food. The fried baoluo noodles were really delicious. I will go there again next time and stay at his house.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. I asked for early check in and immediately when the room was ready they texted me to come. The view is amazing and the bed is comfortable. Room is big and also shower. One thing thats i didn’t like is that when i entered the room there was a bad smell, but they came and put perfume to make it nicer. But day after i woke up and again was a bad smell from the skewer.
