The room is too small, but the overall hotel atmosphere is very good. The five-dollar breakfast in the courtyard is affordable and clean, plus free coffee. The small hotel is only a dozen yuan away from important attractions such as the National Museum and the Jade Museum, which is very convenient.

The appearance from the outside was deceptive compared to the inside. Rooms were small and basic with dated decor. Beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom was quite dirty with bad, cold shower and toilet that leaked. I would not stay again. The only positives were the price, communal areas and its location within a less busy neighbourhood about 20 minutes walk away from the main bus station.

The staff is friendly and location is great. Unfortunately I could not sleep the whole night. There were noises all night and the guy at reception did not care. I woke up many many times because people knocks, scream and shut doors. I told the manager at 1am about it. He did not care. Also the only way to get in the hotel is people buzz the gate. And it happen every 15 min.
