"A ruined gift and complete disappointment!" I wanted to give my friend a special Christmas gift — I booked a hotel stay for her from December 7th to December 8th, 2024, and bought a ticket to a show. However, during the booking process, the system wouldn’t let me enter her name because the name on the payment card had to match the guest’s name. After completing the payment, I immediately submitted a request to change the guest’s name, but it was denied. I tried a second time, only to receive another refusal. We thought we could fix this issue at check-in, but we were met with yet another refusal. In the end, my friend had to pay for an additional room, which resulted in unexpected expenses and ruined the entire experience. What was meant to be a joyful surprise turned into stress, frustration, and deep disappointment. I felt heartbroken because the whole purpose of this gift was to make her happy, but it was completely spoiled due to the hotel’s inflexibility and indifference. This level of customer service is unacceptable. The refusal to help with such a simple request shows a shocking lack of empathy and professionalism. I will never use this hotel again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it if they value respect and decent service.

Location is good closevto warf. Checking in is slow with a long line. Parking on site is not good if you have a large SUV...park somewhere else. No Spa but would still stay again.

Great location and service. Breakfast is good but the same thing everyday. Lots of street parking available around hotel but read the signs carefully.

I stayed for 4 nights. Great breakfast selection. However, menu stays the same. It's crowded every day. Accessible location to touristy areas. Best to take an uber to and fro airport.

The hotel is in a great location, just minutes away by foot to Fisherman's Wharf. Lombard Street and Chinatown are both accessible by foot, as well as the trendy Russian Hill/Polk St area with many bars and restaurants. There are multiple rental car locations a few minutes walk away as well so that you can drive across the Golden Gate Bridge and go to the Battery Spencer Lookout or continue onwards to Sausalito and Muir Woods. Note that there are two wings of the building and we were placed in the wing separate from the main lobby and dining room, and the steps were not wheelchair accessible. The service and amenities are good, but we had a first floor room facing the street and it was quite noisy at times due to the poor noise isolation where you could hear people talking outside on the street quite clearly. Overall, the location was good and the value was quite high with breakfast being included (it was fine, nothing special).

Checked in late. Changed room 2 times, told no change, because the room has a very obvious greasy smell as if someone hasn't showered for a long time. I don't know why no one has commented on it. The hotel facilities are old, mainly the location is convenient, it's really unbearable to stay for too long, and later chose a room with a slightly less smell. The air conditioner is working loudly indoors, which makes it difficult to sleep. People who are sensitive to smell should choose carefully! ! Breakfast is enough to eat, don't ask for quality and hygiene. Wipe the knife and fork yourself

Far below expectations. Although it is close to Fisherman's Wharf, it is more like a guesthouse than a high-end hotel. Because it is cheaper than other high-end hotels, there are more foreigners staying here. 1. We checked in at the front desk at 10 am. There was a room available, but we were not allowed to check in. Unless we paid a $50 early check-in fee, we had to wait until after 13:30 to check in again. We stayed in three hotels on this trip, and only this one insisted on charging this fee. Japan Airlines and Grand Hyatt could refuse to pay but still let us check in as long as there was a room. Only this one would not let us check in even if there was a room. 2. We were greeted by two Chinese front desk staff. Their tone was stiff and they didn't give us a good face. At first I thought it was their personality, but they turned around and smiled like a flower to guests from other countries. That face was really disgusting. We also paid to stay in the hotel, but we were still treated like this. 3. There was no central air conditioning in the room, but a large window air conditioner, which was very noisy. The strange thing was that there was a fake controller, which was found to be fake after setting it for a long time. When checking in, each person was given a bottle of alcohol at a time according to the number of people. Water, no matter how many days you stay, you only need one bottle. There is a water dispenser but no hot water, and it is far away; the most unbearable thing is that there are no disposable slippers. It is really uncomfortable to walk barefoot on the cold floor of the bathroom in winter. We can only spread the bath towel on the floor. Other guests may do the same. You can imagine how dirty the bath towel is; 4. Let’s talk about the breakfast that attracted me to choose it at that time. There are many things but they are all relatively cheap ingredients. The fruit quality is poor. At most, there are various breads. There are very few egg whites. There is no smoked salmon, which is a standard breakfast in high-end hotels in San Francisco. For a meat lover like me, I have no appetite at all; Among the three hotels we chose this time, this one is the cheapest, but the experience is the worst. From check-in to check-out, it makes people feel stingy and indifferent everywhere. It is better to choose a comfortable hotel.

Pros: Nice environment, comfortable bed, rich breakfast, powerful air conditioning Cons: This hotel does not provide any other supplies except towels and paper, including slippers. In addition, the water volume is too small, and the bathtub is also relatively small. People with a slightly larger body will feel uncomfortable when turning around

The location is very good, the service is nice, and the staff is very polite. The breakfast is quite rich in the United States, with meat, milk, eggs, bread, fruits, and a wide variety of drinks. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the poor sound insulation. I can hear the sound of the door opening next door clearly.
