I stayed here because I had a very early flight from the San Antonio airport. They scheduled a taxi for me at 4:30 AM, and the driver was waiting for me when I went down to the lobby. The room was clean, and everything worked. The staff was very helpful. There are no restaurants of any sort within walking distance. There are some sandwich vending machines in the hotel. I got an egg burrito from one of them, and it was edible. My suggestion to the management, though, is to extend the food choices.

Good price but: must buy transportation from the airport with no shuttle and 6 minute ride but 50-minute walk with no sidewalks along hiway or across grass. Bring a charging port for your phone. No USB in the room for your cord or in the entire hotel. I fixed the toilet paper holder because the 2 rolls were on the floor. It requires a small screwdriver to tighten the roll holder.  People ask for a plus to plug a USB, but the closest place is a convenience store with a 20-minute walk to buy a charging port. Staff was nice but being a franchise, they can only do what the owner allows. No chain rules to maintain quality. It is an old place that is a motel drive up for main floor with 2 upper levels with inside entry like a hotel.

For the most part the stay was ok and I love the pet friendliness and the fact they don't ask for a pet deposit but I recently injured my ankle and the way
 they were rushing me out the room when check out came was ridiculous. I was by myself and the fact that she had no sympathy for me and was just worried about cleaning the room instead of worried about the paying customer. For that reason I more than likely won't be going back!!
