Garner Hotel Salt Lake City Airport Reviews

The location of the hotel is perfect since it’s close to the airport, and it’s also a plus that they offer a free shuttle ride to and from the airport. However, the room itself has a lot of issues. First, there wasn’t enough lighting to brighten the entire room. They only had lamps, and some of them had burnt-out bulbs. The door lock couldn’t be opened from the inside, so we had to call the front desk every time to have them unlock it for us. The laundry room only had one washer and one dryer, so it was on a first-come, first-served basis. As a hotel, they should have expected more customers needing to do laundry and provided additional machines. This setup caused long waits. The TV was outdated—no Netflix or any modern features. The air conditioning also didn’t work properly; when you used the heater, it kept malfunctioning and sometimes didn’t work at all. I even got sick for three days during my stay, and the hotel didn’t have basic first-aid supplies. Pharmacies are quite far, and in case of an emergency, they didn’t even have a thermometer or Tylenol available. The hot water had to be requested from the front desk instead of being conveniently provided in the breakfast area. The front desk staff were mostly Indian, and while I understand accents can differ, one of them had a very thick accent. When I politely asked him to repeat what he said over the phone because I couldn’t understand him, he got impatient and yelled at me. Overall, I would never book here again. This hotel needs a lot of improvement.

It was a pig room with a king size bed and a large couch, except that it still has enough space! And the price is very cheap, good for families to stay!

We drove from Lake Tahoe to Salt Lake, so it was a long day… thankfully the front desk was very accommodating and said they’d hold our reservation until 4:00am, we arrived a little after 1:00am. The room was adequate, although smelled a little odd (tha A/C?). The continental breakfast was good, but they ran out of waffle mix before my son & I could both get a full waffle. And we were going to hang out at the pool and hot tub until checkout but the pool was closed for cleaning or something… all-in-all a little disappointing, but hard to argue with the $109 pricetag for a family of 4…

The room is quite small, so I would recommend it for a short stay of no more than one night.

overal it was ok. Dont expect too much. it is cheap and close to airport, besides they have shutle to airport.

The hotel is under renovation, and I can't see the hotel name. The name on booking and the final confirmation are not the same. I asked Ctrip customer service, who was very responsible and helped to confirm. Everything else about the hotel is good. The hotel price includes breakfast. When I went to have breakfast, there was only bread, jam and coffee, nothing else. I have never had such a sloppy breakfast.

Seeing the low rating, I thought it was bad. Unexpectedly, the room was quite big and clean. It had everything it needed. Except for the fact that the hotel is a bit old, everything else was OK. Although the breakfast is simple but filling, it is cheaper and the price/performance ratio is very good.

The room is fully equipped and clean, but no supplies are provided for room cleaning. One set is provided for three days. It is too noisy.

The facilities are very average, just like motels in the United States. They cannot be compared with domestic hotels. It is close to the airport and there are few breakfast options. Fortunately, I just stayed one night to make ends meet.

Facilities: old, microwave is broken, no vending machine in the store. Go to other hotels next door. Service: very poor, breakfast must be grabbed in time, otherwise there are only bread slices. The hotel's shuttle to the airport is limited, and it will not be available after 10 o'clock. The price is cheap.
