Residenza Piranesi Boutique Hotel

A relatively new 3* hotel very close to the Spanish Steps and walking distance to the Basillica of St Mary Major. The room was adequate with the required amenities and has an old fashion lift to get your luggage to the room. Check in was seamless and so was the check out. Better be informed that check out time is 10.30am, which is relatively early when check in time is at 3pm. Room linen was only changed after the 3rd night, which seems to be the standard in Italy but not the rest of the world. Need a look into this. The rate for the hotel is reflective of the area and not its amenities. You might be able to get better rates at other places that are not so central.
Hotel della Conciliazione

The hotel is very good, only 3-4 minutes from the Vatican, there is a 24-hour McDonald's for two minutes on the side, convenient to eat, about 5 minutes from the bus station. However, it is more troublesome to get off the subway station. It takes 12-14 minutes to walk. It is troublesome to carry luggage. If the train is recommended by the Termini train, although it is far, it is more accurate.

Very nice hotel with lovely, plesant staff. Housekeeper works at lightning speed In the morning and the room was kept immaculate! One day we left very late indeed and had no reasonable expectation that she would do our room but when we came back she had indeed turned it for us. Breakfast was varied and very enjoyable. Lovely, extensive wine list. We had a problem with our Air conditioning which was dealt with very promptly and we were offered a complimentary lunch as way of compensation which was very generous considering how little the problem put us out. Its in a great location for sightseeing and the area is vibrant with great restaurants, having said that you are not disturbed at night by outside noise and our room was located on the first floor at the front of the hotel. Would stay again.

Nice spacious room, very comfortable bed, and spacious shower. We were really surprised and delighted by this hotel! Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety--eggs and bacon, croissants, toast, jams, cereals, fruit, and coffee made to order. There's a nice interior outdoor garden patio that I know we would have enjoyed if we were not there in winter. This hotel is literally a 1 minute stroll from St. Peter's Square. We would have had to walk farther if we had roomed in the Vatican's guest house! The hotel is on a nice car-free street with a small but delicious gelato shop on one side and a fabulous restaurant, Arlu, on the other side. About a 10-15 minute walk (depending on your pace) to the Metro station.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of romeo - location simply couldn’t be better. The staff are amazingly friendly and went the extra mile after i busted my ankle in rome. Special mention to the front desk and the door man who always greeted us with the warmth of a long lost cousin and were amazingly helpful throughout. They also have the best cappuccino i’ve ever tasted in my life! i’d recommend this hotel to anyone without reservation.
