It was a nice last minute booking. Nothing to really complain about, the room was quite big and overall pretty comfortable. The hotel itself is just a little old and the breakfast wasn't the best. Overall, it fulfilled its purpose and the staff was helpful and kind.

Recommended hotel! Excellent value for money! Very kind staff, Natalia, the receptionist really professional and kind! In the surroundings of the hotel there are several places, such as trattorias and bars.

The location seems to be in the center, but the metro is about 1 km away, and the Spanish Steps is 1.5 km away. The hotel entrance system is in the best Roman traditions - ring the bell, the door will open, and behind it another door, etc. The room is clean, the staff is friendly.

Excellent service, the receptionist was attentive, we spoke Spanish and he understood us, he told us places to go how to go, the only thing is the location is a bit far but for the price it's ok we walked to the tourist places, 35 to 40 minutes walking, buses pass by as well that is not a problem the room is very clean spacious the bathroom had a hairdryer

Front desk staff was helpful, including selling us bus tickets. There are multiple buses nearby. The room was basic but all we needed. It had a working fridge and the shower was great. Our room had three twin beds and they were comfy. The elevator was convenient. The only downside was that there were loud young people on the street, one night until 4 am. The windows kept a lot of noise out until they started playing music from one of the cars, and it would have been nice to sleep with the window open that night. Would definitely stay here again.

Bed bugs! Can confirm that room A1 HAS BED BUGS! I have bites all over the left side of my body and face after staying for a few nights. I have found some in my luggage that are now traveling with me for the rest of my vacation, ready to ruin the rest of my trip. Hopefully washing everything will get rid of them. The rooms and amenities are not consistent with a 3 star hotel. I have stayed at several 2 star hotels in Rome that are nicer and have larger rooms. Other reviews that describe the breakfast are accurate. It seems to be something that is included just to check a box, but is actually useless. I would not only not recommend this place, but I would also avoid it at all costs.

It was difficult to find, with just a small sign and a buzzer to get in. The elevator was also problematic to say the least The pictures on ******* don’t match reality at all. I wouldn’t even consider it a proper hotel. As a solo female traveler, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe, so I left immediately. When I requested a refund, they declined. I’ll take the loss. My safety and peace of mind comes first.

Firstly, I’ve seen lots of comments about how this is hard to find etc. After reading some reviews it was clear to see that the hotel was on floor 3. All you need to do is ring the buzzer at the doors and they let you in. All receptionists we encountered were lovely and very helpful! My only issue was that the hair dryer went off after about 30 seconds and took about 5 mins to regenerate and the hot water in the shower didn’t last long but value for money 10/10. What more van you ask for with a 3 star hotel? We had a fabulous time! The location is AMAZING. Not too far an Uber away from anywhere, you can get the bus but we didn’t want to. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you for having us!

We are currently staying here (travel from Scotland). The location is amazing literally a 15 minute bus ride to the centre of Rome to see all the attractions. Close by is a beautiful park, great restaurants and pubs within walking distance. There is a small “hangout” below where students gather but very respectful and yes some noise but bareable. The hotel does have an old elevator style lift and quite small but does the job. The manager (sorry didn’t get name) was very helpful providing us with a map and spent time showing us bus routes, places of interest and eating places etc. Breakfast comes in a large tray to the room and consists of hot drink, yoghurt, croissant, breads, jams, butter, biscuit and fruit. The hotel is clean and in a beautiful building. Would highly recommend and for the price amazing 10/10

Very Hard to find, But quirky and different hotel. The Rooms are on the Third floor of a multipurpose building. The staff have great langue skills. The rooms are basic but are not your standard budget hotel box shape,.The location is exellent for exploring Rome, while a lovely park is only a few mins, walk away The breakfast option is not good value so would not bother. Lots of cafes etc nearby.

We booked a room only stay, that's exactly what we got (although the breakfast was offered at 5 euros each, which we declined). I had read reviews on how to find the hotel, they were spot on, we'd stayed in a similar set up in Madrid so probably made life easier in knowing what to look for. The receptionist was very good (apologies that I didn't get his name), very informative and provided us with a map on which he highlighted areas of interest, how to buy bus tickets which was useful. The room was basic, had a fridge and safe - would have been nice to have been provided with cups/kettle and extra pillows; other than that it was all satisfactory, no worse or better than I'd expected at the time of booking. It was clean and tidy; cleaners came in each day. I would say that it is probably just a little far out if you are intending on walking to most places, unless you had a couple of hours where you wanted to go back and relax for a bit. We were amused that if you were sat on the toilet and had the window open the neighbours across the way could look straight in at you doing your business!! Just for information, if you stay here, please remember to close all the lift doors otherwise it won’t work. Somebody forgot to do this whilst we were staying there, after 12 hours of sightseeing we weren’t best pleased that we had to walk up the 4 flights of stairs to our room because of this! I felt the hotel was decent value for money, I’ve paid more for worse in London. You get what you pay for, if you just need a bed for the night then MF Hotel is perfect.

The write up on the hotel is NOT reflective of the accommodation. We arrived and immediately knew this was not what i would call a 3* hotel. IT IS A HOSTEL. You walk into a communal entrance hall for owner/occupier dwellings and the hotel 'reception' is located three floors up. The 'reception' is a small area with a desk within what felt like a broom cupboard. Tattered thread curtains separate you from other communal areas including a kitchenette. The reception guy was pleasant and gave us a key to what was supposed to be our room. On entry i knew i could not stay there. It felt like a room that i would have been assigned if i was a convict just released from jail and on an emergency housing project - Very Sure Shank redemption vibe. WE CHECKED IN AND STRAIGHT BACK OUT. I would pay £10 a night for this accommodation if i were a young adventurous traveller. As a 50 something working adult this is not acceptable accommodation. When we said we would not be staying the reception guy looked totally deflated as though we were the 100th couple to check in and straight back out. I felt sad for him but i would not have stayed if they had offered free accommodation.
Response from Property: WE WHERE HAPPY THAT YOU LEFT BECAUSE WE WHERE FULLY BOOKED AND OVER BOOKED THAT IS WHY TH E RECPTIONIST DIDN'T TRY TO CHANGE YOUR MIND JUST FOR YOUR INFO WE ARE FULLY BOOKED ALL YEAR IF IT IS NOT YOUR KIND OF HOTEL YOU HAD TO READ THE INFO WHERE CLEARLY EVERYTHINK IS NOTICED BEFORE MAKING THE RESERVATION AND NOT LOOK ONLY AT THE PRICE
