Super quickly the confirmation email from the hotel, the directions and recommendations are clear and simple. The room was a decent side and it had a huge bathroom. Right now there are making some renovations in the property but during the sleeping hours everything is pretty calm and silent

DO NOT STAY HERE! Where do I begin with all of the issues I had. To start, there is no one working the front desk. IF YOU DO MOT HAVE A SMART PHONE THAT WORKS IN CIELAND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE DOOR LET ALONE CHECK IN TO YOUR ROOM! Upon arrival we were surprised that we had to follow a sheet of paper that is posted outside the hotel to figure out how to check in, all while standing outside in the cold, because the doors are locked due to no employees being on the premises other than cleaners for a couple of hours. We ended up having to wait until a cleaner walked by the front door and essentially begged them to be let in. Also, the information given during booking for check in time was also not accurate. We then had to repeatedly call the number listed to get ahold of someone to help us check in as the number was not working at first (yes we dialed the number correctly). Further into the night we had an issue with the toilet and once again tried calling the number we were given at check in for assistance and were told we had to fix it ourselves as there are no employees AT ALL in the hotel to help assist you with anything. (We were even told there were no other rooms to move us to even though the hotel was basically empty. We had seen only 3 other couples and one single man. We also knew the rooms all down our hallway were empty as we had not seen or heard ANYONE in our very long hallway.)

Overall the hotel location and food is fine. Service is not very friendly though…. Coffee corner ran out of water, coffee and hot water. The front desk lady was quite helpful when I have enquiries.

The room is well-equipped and in a good location, close to the city center. Free parking is available at the door. The overall experience is very good. You can check in by yourself by entering the password obtained by the order at the door. There is a breakfast buffet downstairs.

The hotel has very big problems in terms of hygiene and safety. After checking in, I opened the quilt and found it was full of hair, all kinds of long and short, dark and light colors, dozens of them. We checked in at noon, and changed it before the cleaning staff left, but there were still hairs (much better than the first time). The hotel's bedding is not clean. Then there is the problem of safety. The hotel's room password is the same as the password to open the door below, so if someone sees the password when you enter the door, they can enter your room (the room cannot be locked at all), which is a big safety hazard. Finally, there are some small problems such as the remote location, no front desk, and invalid passwords.

The dry and wet separation of the bathroom can be strengthened. The existing water barrier may not be able to block all the water splashed from the shower. The rest of the room is good.

Located in downtown Reykjavik, it is convenient for travel and has a good surrounding environment. However, it is a self-service hotel with no front desk and you have to contact by phone, which is very troublesome if you don't have good language skills. The breakfast is OK, rich and purely Western. Attached are photos of the surrounding environment.

Property well located in Reykjavik, large and clean rooms and bathroom, parquet on the floor. Renovation works are underway to improve the environment. Acceptable breakfast, very friendly and helpful room staff.

22 Hills Hotel, as a self-service hotel, received room check-in instructions in advance in the email, no need to go to the front desk to check in. The room is of normal European standard, suitable for single living, and parking is convenient near the hotel

There are roads and houses being built in front of the hotel, and the location is close to the scenic spot. The hotel is self-service, and there are no on-site service staff.

There is nothing dissatisfied with the order given to the customer

There is no front desk, and the door is locked and requires a password to enter, so when you arrive, you need to call the phone number posted on the door in the cold wind (the phone is answered in a call center-like place, which means you have to tell what happened every time you call) ), and the phone was disconnected from time to time (I don’t understand why guests were not notified in advance). We stayed two nights and made numerous calls (because the code did not allow access to the downstairs gate or the room). The next night, the same room was given to another young couple. When they wanted to check in that night, they said the hotel would give us the room. They pressed our password and asked us to open the door to check. The two girls were scared to death. ! It was so insecure (the hotel was completely hidden throughout the entire trip). The last time I went back to the room after breakfast on the third morning, the password failed (guess it was because we changed the password because of what happened last night). Then I called at the door to tell me the room number, name and password, and then said that the password was changed to this for us. Fortunately, we checked out right away, otherwise whoever in the surrounding rooms with good ears might have heard the password? Compared with this kind of security issues, there is no front desk service, poor room facilities, and no one to collect garbage, which are already small problems for them, haha.

Self-service check-in and convenient parking

Although the room is small, it is very convenient to settle in. The password is used to enter and exit. The piggy supermarket is 150 meters away, and shopping is also very close. The breakfast is also good. It is not too far to go to the main street and the Pearl Tower.
