Exceptionally clean , stayed in the jacuzzi suite - worth every penny . Staff helpful . Set in a neighbourhood opposite a school but yet , we had a very peaceful stay ! Will not hesitate to rebook if visiting Porto in the future

great value for money

Our family of 8 stayed in this hotel. It was cheap, clean and hygienic, which exceeded our expectations. It was very cost-effective. If we go to Porto, we will choose here again.

We went and there was a major problem with our reservation, we paid for a 50 meter room and they gave us a 25 meter room, then we had a change to another hotel, it seems nice, it is well connected and free parking on the same street.

The hotel is in a quiet location and the rooms are spacious. It is next to the team's home stadium and has a good location

The hotel is clean and hygienic, Wifi is not working

Warm welcome, spacious room but unfortunately not the one originally planned, we were supposed to have a Queen or king size bed, we ended up with 2 single beds. The re-diapers are well done by the housekeepers. A little expensive for the price but very nice hotel. You have to pay for water, be careful

Bessa Hotel is an excellent choice to stay in Porto although little far from the main hub of activities in Porto. We preferred to be away as gave us a good chance to walk to the town everyday. The hotel itself is really nice with spacious rooms and excellent breakfast. The staff are first class and a very special thank you to Sara & Katya in the reception team who went above and beyond to help us.

10-15 euros Taxi from central Porto, near Football stadium. Excellent Staff throughout our 4night stay-Friendly, efficient and informative. Hotel very comfortable with a modern feel and very clean. Breakfast and Dining food brilliant with hugely friendly and obliging Service. Rooms clean and well appointed. We could not fault it and it was a very pleasant surprise.

Nice hotel. Free parking on the street. Friendly staff. Room was soundproof and nice, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious with a bath tub. Excellent bath products provided. TV, kettle, coffee maker, mini bar fridge provided also. Thank you. Hotel is not in the centre of Porto which is nice so you're in the quieter part of town. Must visit Jardim botanico which is a nice 15 minute walk away.

If you decide on this hotel beware the baths are extremely slippery. I found once wet the surface was oily and it was hard to stand safely. I was extremely careful when trying to climb out but my foot slipped and I fell hitting my arm on the side of the bath as I fell. The response from the hotel when I complained was apathetic and they did not wish to even check on the bath to see the problem but did then send a bath mat. I went to a pharmacy to get some medication to treat the severe bruising and returned to ask for the hotel to pay for this. They refused giving the impression the they thought it was my fault and asking for compensation was unreasonable but then gave me an insulting bottle of water and a cake. A half hearted apology came just as I was leaving with no chance for me to pursue the matter further. I do not think they will address this issue. I was with a coach party and several members of the group agreed their bath was exceptionally slippery and although they didn't fall felt they were unsafe. My entire lower arm is still swollen bruised and painful 6 days later.

We loved Porto and enjoyed our stay at the Boavista Hotel. We needed car parking and access to a Tesla charger, which this hotel provided at a reasonable price. The staff at reception was very helpful, spoke good English and gave us a map and good tips for exploring Porto. The rooms and bathrooms were large and modern, well designed and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and a reasonable price. The hotel is not centrally located for Porto, but a metro station is about 15 mins walk, and bus stop about 5 mins walk. Then it takes about 10 mins to get the centre. To return we took a Bolt taxi which was very cheap. Access to the underground car park was very tight. Everything else was excellent and we would recommend this hotel.

The suite deluxe was incredible. It was clean and spacious and the terrace with the jacuzzi was amazing. The staff was very kind and the hotel has also private parking, fitness room and in the lobby area you can find computers to use. The location is not near the touristic points. The downside of my review is based on the poor quality of the food in room service. I ordered Pesto pasta but it had no taste and it was too oily and overpriced for what I received.
