Pousada Palacio de Queluz – Historic Hotel Reviews

It is living in a vineyard. Very relaxing and nice. About 5km from city centre and yet one can have the peace and quietness of a vineyard stay, in a well built accommodation. We enjoyed the stay very much. Breakfast is decent.

Truely historic small hotel (26 rooms) in historic building. Nothing really what you can call luxury 2025, it was maybe bacl 2000. Location next to the Palace of Queluz makes it a bit more interesting though it's remote from both Lisboa and Sintra (which municiplay this place belongs to, city tax is "only" 2€/Person max for 3 nights!). All rooms are upstairs, the standard rooms face the cobbed street (you can hardly hear with closed windows), big bathroom with tub, electricity bit strange, illumination bit old fashiioned. Due to the small capacity also the buffet breakfast ist limited in choice though high quality. Nespresso and filer coffee (better than those vending machines). Free parking outside is a plus, restaurants are in walking distance! In a nutshell: nice place but the "normal" rates around 150€ are BY FAR too much in my eyes - our 75€ incl.4€ city tax was just okay (missing extras like spa, pool etc.)

The hotel rooms are very large and spacious, all the environments are very delicate, beautiful and clean, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the front desk receptionists are friendly, and there is a wide free parking space in front. In short, it is a pleasant hotel!

Our entire company liked the hotel without exception. Everything is perfect: the cleanliness and convenience of the room, the building itself, the location, the breakfast. We will be happy to return.

There was a wide variety of breakfast options, mostly sweets, and they even had something like ratatouille which was delicious. However, there was a strong smell of detergent coming from the kitchen as you entered and exited the breakfast area, which made me feel nauseous and I lost my appetite midway through. The staff were also kind, and if it weren't for that it would have been a near perfect hotel. Queluz Palace is right in front of the hotel, and there are training horses in the garden which were fun to touch. The palace and gardens are impressive, but there were hardly any people there, so it was a nice place.

The hotel is located across the road from the National Palace of Queluz. It was once a part of the National Palace of Queluz and later became a hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and enthusiastic, the room was clean and tidy, and the value for money was high. There were few sockets in the room, and a bedside lamp had to be disabled when charging the phone. Also, the water pressure was slightly low, which was not very comfortable.

A hotel reused in the old palace, a special experience, and the front desk service is also very good

This is an accommodation we stopped at on the way from Sintra to Lisbon. As it was an existing mansion or castle that was renovated, the building itself was old, but clean and well-maintained, and the rooms were very spacious, which was nice. I tried breakfast as it was included, and although there weren't many items, everything was delicious.
