First off, the location is fantastic. The hotel is right by the First Bathing Beach, which was perfect for my child to explore the tide pools. The cliffside restaurant on the first floor is incredibly pleasant for enjoying the view and relaxing, giving you a wonderful sense of being away from it all. In the evening, having a drink there really sets a great mood. The food itself is quite ordinary, but the surrounding scenery and ambiance make up for any imperfections. The front desk staff were lovely – beautiful, friendly, and gentle. Sisters 3075 and 3029 left a particularly good impression on us, and we truly felt the sincerity and friendliness of the people of Qingdao. The room facilities are a bit dated but still clean. My husband loved lounging on the sofa, admiring the sea view, and kept saying how comfortable he was. Housekeeping was good; they cleaned regularly and replenished supplies. However, their response to personalized requests wasn't very proactive. For example, I noticed the kettle wasn't working and asked someone to check it. Initially, they suggested I try a different outlet, but the available outlets in the room weren't suitable for boiling water due to safety concerns. After I insisted, someone did come. It turned out the issue wasn't the kettle itself, but rather that the kettle's outlet only had power when the room card was inserted. Overall, housekeeping services met our basic needs. My child and husband enjoyed the buffet at the 25th-floor revolving restaurant. I personally found it to be good value for money, especially with the stunning, unobstructed 360-degree views and complimentary drinks. It was great. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! We'll likely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qingdao.

This was my favorite place to stay throughout my trip. It's a 2-3 minute walk from Gate 3 of the Naval Museum, and 5 minutes to Xiao Qingdao and Lu Xun Park. Although it's technically a guesthouse, the service and facilities are on par with a hotel. The room was spacious and bright. The 'Huaisha' room is perfect for families with two children, featuring a 2-meter king bed and a 1.4-meter tatami – the kids absolutely loved it! You can even see the Naval Museum from the room. Qin Yu Road is right outside on the first floor. We enjoyed leisurely strolls to the Naval Museum and Xiao Qingdao around 5 am; it was cool and there were no crowds. They offer a generous afternoon tea every day, which the kids adored so much they didn't want to leave. Breakfast was a bit pricey if added separately. Dining options nearby are limited; you have to walk about 10 minutes to the main road for more choices.

The room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked great! ✧⁺⸜(●˙▾˙●)⸝⁺✧ There's a small bar and cafe right outside, and they even have ice cream, drinks, snacks, and instant noodles for sale – everything you could need. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and lovely, and she handled things efficiently and quickly (๑•ω•๑). The facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service were all fantastic.

Facilities: The facilities are pretty good, with an XiaoDu smart voice assistant. Cleanliness: The hygiene is good. Environment: The lobby is bright, and there are green plants in the hallway. The hotel is right by the First Bathing Beach, but the traffic in the old town is really bad. I recommend taking the subway, which is also very close. Service: The front desk staff were very friendly, helped with luggage storage, and even gave the kids a sand digging toy set! Other: The breakfast is basic but the taste is pretty good. It would be even better if they offered more noodle dishes!

The room was really spacious and I was very happy with my stay. The facilities were all brand new, and the large TV with screen mirroring was super convenient. It was awesome to enjoy a beer while watching TV! The front desk staff, especially the lady, provided excellent service. Many thanks!

I was so lucky to book this photographer during my hotel stay! The entire shoot was relaxed and enjoyable. She's especially good at capturing natural, lively moments, and her light control is excellent, making every photo atmospheric. The final photos have a high-quality feel, and the editing preserves real skin texture with an amazing aesthetic. A fantastic travel photography experience, highly recommended. If you're in Qingdao, you definitely have to get her to take your pictures! ✨

We received a complimentary upgrade to a terrace room. The room was quite clean; I saw the cleaning lady diligently cleaning upon check-in. The room was stylishly decorated and perfect for taking photos. However, the sink faucet was a bit loose and not very easy to use. Breakfast was decent, but there were quite a few bottles and jars in the room, and since the room wasn't very big, I was worried about them breaking. Some details felt a bit dated, and the courtyard could actually be improved. The service was excellent; the young man helped with our luggage and carried it to the car.

True to its star rating, the overall quality of this hotel was excellent! The lobby was sophisticated and clean, and check-in was very fast. The front desk staff were attentive and helpful. Our room was spotless, free of any odors, and the mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were of high quality. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. Overall, our stay was incredibly satisfying and I highly recommend it!

Overall, hotels in Qingdao aren't cheap. After comparing options and considering my itinerary, I chose this Home Inn. In terms of transportation, if you're relying on the subway, it's a bit inconvenient, about a 15-minute walk. However, it's quite close to Zhongshan Park and the Beer Museum, just a short walk away. The facilities are a bit dated; one of the bedside power outlets didn't work, which was quite inconvenient. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, and I saw a lot of Koreans enjoying their meal there. As for service, the front desk staff and the restaurant小姐姐 (young lady) were both very enthusiastic. The street the hotel is on also makes for some great photos!

What a pleasant surprise! The butler was incredibly welcoming and helped us with our luggage. We stayed in 3 different room types over three days, and they were all fantastic and spotlessly clean. Many rooms even offer ocean views. There's a popular cafe right downstairs, and the location is super convenient for getting around. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and it's a short stroll to attractions like the Naval Museum, Qinyu Road, Little Qingdao, Lu Xun Park, and Xiaoyushan.

The location and ambiance are beyond words. The handsome guy at the reception truly embodied the warmth and hospitality of Shandong people. The rooftop garden is exquisite and cozy, perfect for enjoying the sea view and waves, or just sitting in quiet contemplation. And the coffee after breakfast...

This trip with my child involved staying at five hotels. Yuwen Hotel was the best fit for me! The owner is a discerning and experienced traveler. The rooms and living room were both beautifully and practically furnished; I felt right at home. The air conditioning was on, and the room was impeccably clean and stylish. We stayed for three nights, and everything was wonderful. Lying in bed, I thought about how this century-old house must have held countless stories… Every piece of furniture seemed to tell its own tale. In my spare time, I gently touched them; they felt warm to me… Every chair was so comfortable; even while traveling, I could enjoy short reading sessions. A happy everyday life is about maintaining that sense of ease. In short, staying at Yuwen Hotel made this Qingdao trip a perfect ending. I'm grateful to the owner for providing travel tips and restaurant information; we tried four different restaurants, all of which were excellent.

By chance, I stayed at the Badaguan Hotel, and honestly, I didn't have high expectations, given it's an older state guesthouse. But the experience was surprisingly good. The Badaguan Hotel has an understated elegance about it, and its location is absolutely superb – the entire hotel is nestled in the heart of the Badaguan scenic area. Just a two-minute walk from the exit, you're at the Second Bathing Beach, and the luckiest part was catching a beautiful sunset. Within a stone's throw are popular landmarks like Huashi Villa, Princess Building, and Butterfly Building, making it a truly romantic spot. The restaurant is bright and elegant, the ingredients are fresh, and the cuisine is traditional Shandong. There's a special set menu that's incredibly good value for money.

Hygienic: The room is clean and hygienic. It can be seen that the cleaning is very careful. Even the corridors and carpet public areas are cleaned very cleanly. Service: The service is very, very good, the front desk will take the initiative to ask me if I have any needs, and there is tea. The jasmine tea at the front desk is delicious. Facilities: This hotel was renovated in 2025. Keep it good and especially new. The decoration style is simple. I like it very much. Surroundings: There is a breakfast shop nearby, ribs rice, beef noodles. Handmade dumplings. It is 1 stop from Taitung Snack Street subway. A taxi is 10 yuan. There are several barbecue shops nearby.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, nestled on the mountainside of Signal Hill, surrounded by a concentration of attractions. Popular spots like the Comic Street, Zhanqiao Pier, Little Red House, and the Governor's Mansion are all within walking distance. Hidden in a quiet residential area, it offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city, with a private courtyard and free parking, making it convenient for travelers arriving by car. The facilities are also impressive: the rooms feature large TVs and high-speed Wi-Fi, perfect for watching shows or working; the bathrooms have strong water pressure and efficient drainage, with 24-hour hot water; the rooms have both a water-cooled radiator and central air conditioning for heating, and all the equipment is new, making it especially comfortable in winter. The service is impeccable. The owner, a warm-hearted local gentleman, knows the area intimately and provides reliable travel advice, helping travelers plan efficient routes and avoid unnecessary detours. He responds quickly to any needs and personally follows up on solutions, offering professional and attentive service that leaves a lasting impression.
