Very good experience, the rooms cleaned daily and all rooms have air con, breakfast was basic but all that is needed and dinner was fantastic it’s a 3 course meal and I would like to applaud the chef Michele and his team as they were brilliant.

The owners have put a lot of thought in to the running of this establishment. The food is excellent, service exemplary, rooms very good value. Tempio town itself is picturesque and there are many attractions a short drive away. Very highly recommended. We have now stayed twice and will return again next year.

We booked a 4 night stay and like many other reviewers we arrived at the Pausania Inn with high hopes. Arriving at 11pm isn't the best time to assess your new surroundings but just seemed OK. We had arranged some food due our late arrival and plates of hams, cheeses, breads melon etc were brought to the room .. fantastic with a cold beer mmm. Next morning (and every other morning like most people) we had the breakfast which was fine, unfussy but don't expect a huge choice. One tip: ask for an espresso / capuccino at breakfast and they'll make you the real deal (free) otherwise you'll be having the filter stuff. This was followed by an hour or 2 relaxing at the beautiful pool which was clean and well looked after admiring the great views of the surrounding mountains. This was followed by a trip into the local supermarket to put together a picnic to take to the beach. (The supermarket is hidden away on the left going into town). It's 30 mins drive down to the nearest beach and then from there within 10-15 mins a great selection of fantastic beaches which even in July were not packed out. The room was perfect for us, with air conditioning and comfy beds overlooking the pool. The staf made sure that all our needs were met. For example our room did not have a minibar. We told them that the reviews and their website mentioned a minibar and within an hour an empty fridge was provided (perfect for what we wanted ... who uses minibars for anything else?) Overall the hotel is very quiet and peaceful, a car is definitely necessary and Tempio the local town is worth exploring as there are some lovely bars and a couple of restaurants to enjoy. By the end of the 4 nights we loved the place and left feeling peaceful and fully re-charged.

A nice hotel in the middle of nature, just outside of Tempio Pausania city, surrounded by green and with a great view to the mountains where it can be seen a splendid sunset. The hotel itself it's nice. It has a nice reception hall where it can see a permanent exhibition of some sardinian artist... traditional clothing and handmade objects like folklore masks, decorations and souvenirs made in cork, one of the traditional sardinian elements. Some of them can be purchased. Also at reception you'll find informations about various excursions that you can make nearby or far by here... visit the beautiful La Maddalena archipelago or some of the jewelry beaches of Sardinia. The room are clean equipped with fridge, hair dryer and large screen flat tv (for those that are interested... not our case :) ). If you choose a room with a mountain view, you will be rewarded with a splendid sunset. If you feel hot you can refresh in a nice pool or just refreshing with some beer on its edge. The restaurant is good as well... we ate here very delicious dishes on the dinner and the breakfast is sweet or salt, as you prefer. The waiters are very very gentle, especially Francesca that was by far an example... she deserve al least a free day or a promotion . (Thank you for everything Francesca :) ) The front desk staff was also very courteous and helpful ... thank you also

If you are thinking of booking a room here, DON'T. Rooms had musty smell constantly. Coffee served to breakfast was instant and tasted artificial. Dinner were disgusting. Food tasted blant and weird, it smelled disgustingly. Quality of it was low, the cheapest products. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone, I have been to hotels of similar standards but with far better food and no stench in room, coffee was from coffee maker and tasted good.

We had two nights at the Inn. Fast check in by a very serviceminded receptionist, he also gave us a upgrade of the room. The room we had was really nice! Poolarea was nice. Lots of free parkingspace. Breakfast was a little bit poor, a little vegetables and fruit would have been nice. We had dinner both nights and the food was really great. Friendly and helpful staff! I think we had good value for the price we paid.

Nice friendly staff. The room was clean and quiet. The room was spacious enough. The breakfast was very good with great mountain views. It's a short 15min walk into town. Free parking available onsite.

Well the first thing two lovely owners on the desk. Realy quick check in. The next thing you notice is how clean and spotless how well the hotel is. Decorated. Our room 301 was big lovely and clean. With a small television. Down side for me was no kettle. The double bed was big comfortable. It had a varanda 2chairs small table. It has air conditioning. The bathroom is big with a great power shower. Towels toiletries. .bedding and towels in room cleaned changed every two days and a credit to the room staff. It has a realy big swimming pool and a small one for children. The breakfast is continental. But the coffe is barrista style you just ask for what you want. It has a lift. There is a pretty town about 15 mins walk away. You can hire a bike at the hotel. The hotel is about 50 minutes drive from olbia airport. All in all a lovely hotel bottom line is yes I would sty there again. October 20th 2022 Jim.

The overall hotel was very nice looking and in a great location. The room we were given, however, was terrible. For 3 people, it was very , very small. There was no room to move around or put anything. The worst part though was the bathroom. It was ridiculously small. No place to put any toiletries or hang towels. it was so uncomfortable. poor value for the money!

The hotel is great value for money and the premium for a room with a balcony is worth paying extra for. Plenty of free parking on site and the staff made us feel very welcome. Both al la carte and table d’hôtel menus are available and offer a wide range of food and local specialities. The swimming pool is clean and in pleasant surroundings with plenty of seating around the pool. In a quiet location, but within 10 minutes walking of the historic town, there are local nuraghe and opportunities for off track walking and cycling. Staff were helpful and friendly and Michele went out of his way to help us when we had problems with our hire car. Although only 40 minutes from Olbia airport, the hotels offer a rural experience and makes an ideal first or last stop before flying.

I don't usually write my reviews in Spanish, but since 90% of the guests there were Spanish (sometimes much to my chagrin, because you feel embarrassed, but I can talk about that in another forum), I think I can be more helpful. Access to the hotel is good, and there's free parking throughout the hotel. If you're a couple, they usually offer some very cute little cabins away from the hotel itself (depending on what each person is looking for, but I preferred having the dining room and pool nearby). The breakfasts are good (at peak times, between 9:30 and 10, it's a bit chaotic), but the dinners were spectacular. They were long, though, because they took ages to be served, but so delicious that it was worth the wait (we're on vacation, right?). If you want to eat on the terrace, you must reserve in advance, but be careful with mosquitoes and the heat. The opening hours are from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, but with the time between courses, it's best to arrive early, or you could end up there dining all day. The waiters are super friendly; they don't speak Spanish, but we understood each other perfectly. At reception, they can provide information about beaches and excursions (you'll find spectacular beaches just a half-hour drive away, and the Magdalena excursion is a must). The rooms are simple but have the amenities of any three-star hotel (air conditioning, mediocre Wi-Fi, soap and shampoo, hairdryer, and no refrigerator). The pool, with a children's and adult sections (which is quite deep), is very warm and clean, and on the first day, they offer you a free drink (red or white wine). And with the prices, I was more than satisfied.

Don't expect a super luxurious hotel. Everything is well taken care of. You get a nice breakfast and the dinner is the best we had the chance to eat in all of Sardinia. The choice is limited (no buffet) but you do have choices and everything was always very tasty and it seemed authentic. The staff is very helpful, even though not everyone speaks English. The swimming pool was also a nice experience. We regretted that we had only booked this hotel for 3 days, compared to the other accommodations where we stayed, we would have happily stayed here a few days longer.
