The location is a bit far from the downtown area, but it is quiet and safe. The room was clean, the room and bathroom were large enough, and the bed and bedding were all good. The amenities were also Bulgari products, which was nice, and the water pressure and temperature were easy to control. The service was great at check-in, check-out, and breakfast. The young woman who seemed to be the manager and the young bellboy were both friendly. The hotel's swimming pool is divided into indoor and outdoor areas with glass windows, and there is a massage, but the price is not cheap.
Above all, the highlight was the breakfast. The interior was antique, so it felt like staying in a restaurant, and the middle-aged male server was kind and helpful, which was satisfying. I have stayed in many countries and many hotels, but this was a really good breakfast even among regular 5-star hotels. In addition, if you ask the server, you can have eggs benedict, avocado sandwiches, and omelets. The coffee was also great. The price of accommodation is high in Porto, but it was a satisfactory accommodation that felt worth it. The only downside is that I booked 2 nights for 1 night and 1 night, but on the 2nd day, the card I had previously received didn't work. However, they immediately resolved it and I had a good time after that. If you want to stay comfortably, I recommend this place.

No words.... Has been a trip INSIDE a subway construction area .... And I am not kidding unfortunately. I have reserved a single room kind bed. At beginning the reception assigned me one room at 4th floor exactly in front of jackhammer operators, which made the same noises as in war scenario with 2 beds.
Then after my immediate big complain reception have assigned me another room, #209. Different scenario : that was in front of a concrete grinding crane arrives from 8pm in the morning until 10pm in the evening. at 7am the noises of the vehicles began with the relative movement alarm and in the evening after 10pm the workers who hammer gradually finished at 1am in the night. all i have timed videos to prove my experience. I asked several times to assign me a room ON OTHER SIDE (that are outside the ”war operation area”) but answer was always _ ”SORRY SIR, THE ROOM ON BACKSIDE ARE FULL AND WE DO NOT HAVE SPACE AVAILABLE” .
Today at check out I have asked a discount, as feedback the receptionist charged me 20EUR more for 2 peer juices I have got from minibar......
I do not know how to describe this experience, I have been many times in Intercontinental and I have been always satisfied.... BESIDE THIS LAST TRIP THAT IS REALLY SOMETHING I WANT TO FORGET
Travellers' take extreme care going there !! At least until the subway works under room balcony are finished !!! Can not upload pictures the website tell me ”unable to lad” but I can sent ll of them separately

Everything was perfect. If I had to say one thing, it would be that the heating equipment was a bit lacking because the facility is old.

The food in the hotel's bar is very good. The room is not very big, but the view and overall facilities are okay. It is between 4 and 5 stars. The only problem was that they forgot to clean our room, even though we didn't go out in the afternoon, they still forgot after reminding the hotel that it could be cleaned. Breakfast is relatively excellent. You cannot hail a taxi at the hotel entrance, but you can walk 2 minutes to the alley entrance to hail a taxi.

The most comfortable hotel I stayed in during this trip to Europe. Not only is the room large, the hygiene and facilities are very good👍, but the location is also very good, and most attractions can be reached on foot.

This hotel deserves its 5 stars! location is right smack in the centre of the city, so you can walk to all sights easily. Service was impeccable - from check in (with a welcome drink of port) to our request for a table to be placed at the balcony outside. Also thanks to the hotel for the complimentary sparkling wine and brownie for our anniversary!

Of the 5 hotels I stayed at in Portugal, this was the most uncomfortable. The room was spacious, the outdoor pool was pretty, and the interior was nice overall. But that's all. It's a 5-star hotel, but they don't provide slippers. The interior is so structured that you can't live without slippers. It's a 5-star hotel. Even if you close the shower door tightly and take a shower, the water leaks out. I don't know if it's just the room I stayed in. There was no explanation about breakfast, so I was worried about whether I should pay for it, and the menu was difficult to order. The staff was very kind. It was a disappointing accommodation in many ways. This is my personal experience, so I think you can refer to it.

It's too dark in the hotelㅠㅠ
There's another hotel across the street, so it's hard to get in
It's good for resting, but I wish it was a little brighter when I pack my luggage or look for it,,
I moved from a 4-star hotel in Basel, but it doesn't feel like a 4-star hotel..!
The whole of Porto is like that, but the building isn't that big, so the lobby is small
I'd rather just stay at an Airbnb or find a slightly cheaper place with a good location and a lot of sunlight.

In the center of the old town, you can basically go to any tourist attraction within one kilometer. It is very friendly to traveling bosozokus. There is nothing to say about the interior of the hotel. It is almost the same style as Lello Bookstore. Harry Potter is enough. The elevators and guest rooms are a bit Budapest. It feels like a big hotel. The air-conditioning panel in the room is actually touch-screen. It’s very magical~ The service is also good. After arriving, it’s easier to sit and check in. The check-in time is not stuck. There is also a welcome drink. I usually choose the special one. Port wine, and someone knocks on the door every night to deliver chocolates. Maybe the only bad thing is the small alleys on both sides of the hotel, which are basically tobacco shops and bars. Young people gather there at night and make noise, which will probably last until after 2 o'clock. The second floor is being renovated during the stay, which is quite disturbing. Visit the public area on the second floor. If you like retro, you can really try this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel had great service, including hotel information at the front desk! The breakfast area overlooks the city of Porto and has a great view. This is not limited to this hotel in Portugal, but there are no slippers or toothbrushes in the room, so you need to bring your own. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay in an upgraded room.
KKeroro0430This is my second times to be here in Porto I know this hotel is new this year and everything seems very perfect for me, the environment, the service from the reception, the attitude for from all the colleges as it belongs to Marriott group I can confirm the hotel level is satisfactory to the group, but the most critical point for me is the water flow from the tap in the washing basin and also the showerhead. It’s extremely slow and nearly to 0 I had a really bad experience when I took a shower, and also when I would like to wash something from the washing basin I feel a pity for it I hope next time the hotel can improve it otherwise, I will not take my 3rd time here
候候补党员The hotel’s public spaces are great and it’s an old palace. But the room is not in the palace, but an old building next to it. The hotel is about three kilometers away from the old city center, a little far away, but the hotel shuttle bus is free (10:00 am, 4 pm)
GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the airport, 15 minutes' drive away, which is convenient for overnight stays and early flights. For seafood lovers, there is a restaurant 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. The food is very good, but a little expensive, but delicious!
Ggyzho495A very nice boutique hotel. The public area and guest rooms are very well designed. The bathroom facilities in the room are good. There is a coffee machine and kettle. Chocolates are given at turndown and a bottle of porter is given at welcome. The front desk service is average. The girls in the afternoon class are better than the ones in the morning class.
GGuest UserWe (3 couples) stayed a few days at this hotel and it was great from the moment we checked in. At the reception when we checked in ( pretty late at night I may add) we were greeted by the bellman, and Carlos at the reception, who said was waiting for us since we had called to inform of our late check in. He was friendly, attentive, informative and even funny. He gave us tips on what to do on our days in Porto and even booked the Hop On Hop Off tour for us; and best of all, he gave us all a coupon to have a port wine at the rooftop, which by the way, it’s beautiful!! Our room was amazing and with a great view, and the service and cleanliness was tops. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto and not wanting to be in the center of all the craziness.
