Absolutely beautiful location, room and property. And the hosts are amazing, in every way. Could not have had a better stay. Thank you!

My experience staying at this hotel as below. 1. They provide pickup and drop off from the train station. The day before the Inn contacted me to make arrangement for the pickup. Then they arranged to drive me back to station on the day I leave. Service was efficient and prompt. Much appreciated. 2. I was able to use the washing machine to wash come clothes which was much needed. Comb and toiletries were provided. So grateful for these little necessities as I left mine at the previous hotel. 3. The boss upgraded me to a bigger and better room because it was the low season. The kang bed was so comfortable and firm. I had the best sleep so far at this Inn. I'm so happy. 4. The Inn is inside the old city and practically next to one of the city gates. Very convenient for sightseeing old Pingyao city. 5. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Boss also gave me a bottle of vinegar. Wish I could take it back to UK with me. 6. The price of this Inn is also very reasonable and affordable. 7. Pingyao is a beautiful, ancient old city. Worth coming. I highly recommend staying here. This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! They offer free pick-up service from the station, and the location is incredibly convenient, right near the North Gate. It's also not too far from the city center, and the courtyard is just beautiful!

Lovely! The owner even gave us some vinegar when we left. The inn's location is quite close to the North Gate, and parking is convenient, too, haha.

This guesthouse is as historic as the ancient city itself, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a lively area. It's within easy walking distance of the North Gate, North Street, and South Street of the old town. The hotel offers complimentary pick-up and drop-off services to and from the station, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming.

Everything was perfect ! The staff is amazing, help us with everything, come pick us at the railway station ! The room was clean and as described ! The Localisatuon is perfect, you can do everything by feet ! We recommend !!

The room was very clean, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The biggest highlight was that the owner personally picked us up from the high-speed train station and also dropped us off when we left. Many guesthouses probably don't offer this kind of service.

If you are looking for a unique experience, this is definitely the place to stay. One of the highlights of our trip to Pingyao was the host. They were incredibly kind, messaged us before we arrived in Pingyao, and even offered a free pickup service. They made sure we did not have to wait at the railway station. Their communication was always excellent, and they were very transparent with information. On our last day, the host asked for our train tickets so he could arrange the timing to drive us to the station, which was about a 20-minute ride away. Before we left, they even gave us homemade vinegar as a gift. It was such a lovely experience, and we felt so warmly welcomed throughout our stay. There are no words to describe how happy we were during our time here.

The hotel staff were amazing! We were traveling with our child and booked a family room. The courtyard was lovely too, very charming and traditional, with a beautiful and quiet environment. We slept so soundly without an alarm, we had no idea what time it was! We'll definitely come back if we have the chance!

This is the best guesthouse service I've ever encountered! The young lady, uncle, and auntie are all incredibly nice and welcoming. The guesthouse offers pick-up service, and they contacted me in advance to confirm my arrival time. First, the auntie picked me up. I arrived around 9 AM, and they allowed me to check in early. The young lady was super beautiful and, knowing my hands were dry, even gave me a hand cream. She also drew out a sightseeing route for me and recommended delicious restaurants. Although only pick-up was included, the uncle saw I was alone and even dropped me off. Oh, and they also gave me a bottle of vinegar, a local specialty – I was super touched! 🥹🥹

I left my heart here for their hospitality. The laoban and family are just very kind and friendly. I stayed for 2 nights. They picked me up from the train station and helped me to get my bus back to Pingyaogucheng train station. The room is clean and spacious. Thanks laoban for the upgrade. I would never forget laoban gave me their homemade soy sauce to bring home. I hope they will always be healthy. Thankyou for everything 🙏☺️

We enjoyed staying at the inn - the owner has been most helpful by picking us up from the high speed rail station and dropping off at the station. The team also gave us good information for public performance, sights recommendations, and tips on gates to access the wall. The facility is quaint and the room is decorated in traditional Chinese style and the bed is comfortable. They also gave us an upgrade to a bigger room. The owner also gifted us with a bottle of their own aged vinegar on our departure. The air conditioner works - the afternoon got a little warm during our stay.

I was so touched! Right after I got off the high-speed train, the inn owner was already waiting for me by the roadside in his car. Since cars can't enter the ancient city gate, the owner switched to an electric scooter and continued to take me to the inn, free of charge. The proprietress helped me carry my luggage to the second floor, which I felt really bad about, but was deeply moved by! I absolutely love the style of this room. After check-in, the proprietress grabbed a map and meticulously explained tips for exploring Pingyao Ancient City and important details to note, making everything very clear. I love Shanxi; I felt such attentive care here. When it was time to leave, the owner offered to drive me to the high-speed train station again. I felt embarrassed and decided to leave early and take a taxi to the station myself, then informed the owner via WeChat. He immediately asked if I had gotten into the car yet, offering to drive me if I hadn't. Oh, I was so moved! I told him I had really gotten into a car and didn't need him to drive, wishing his business prosperity and continued success! For anyone planning a trip to Pingyao Ancient City, choose this place; it's very reliable, you won't go wrong!
