Amazing hotel with great services and super nice staff. Location was perfect - recommend to everyone.

Everything was perfect. The owner pick me up at the station and take me back for free. It's a traditional hotel. My room had a tatami bed. I enjoyed very much the experience and they gave me a bottle of local vinegar as a gift. The restaurant they recommend is one of the best rated in the city. The room was very clean and as depicted in the web.

The owner was super friendly and really helpful. He helped us to transfer from the railway station to his property for free. The residence was also really clean and soooo cute. We loved it

What a pleasure to stay here! The location in the Old City is beautiful and interesting, with a benefit of being easy to find. The owners have a wonderful service attitude, and tried to help me with all my little issues. My room was cozy and quiet, sloping roof meet the eaves with a courtyard view. The owners offer railway station pick up, but if you end up taking a taxi, direct the driver to the north gate.

The place is absolutely amazing, extremely beautiful, in the centre of the city, good walk distance for the main points. The staffs are very friendly and offered free ride back to train station.

Great experience! Was cool to stay in an imperial home. The location is very close to the Main Street and sights but is on a quiet road. The staff were super friendly, giving great restaurant recommendations and making sure your stay is a positive as possible - they even picked me up and dropped me off at the train station for FREE.

Great stay. Spacious room with a huge bed. Clean bathroom with all type of amenities. Good location: less than 10 minutes walking from the main street. They can pick you up at the train station and the ride is only 5 minutes. I would come back again!

The hotel is conveniently located near the West Gate of Pingyao Ancient City. The owner provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Taiyuannan Railway Station, just let them know your arrival or departure time in advance. Shuanglin Temple is about 20 minutes away by car; you can easily book a DiDi to get there. The service was good, both the owner and staff were always ready to assist when needed. However, the mattress was very thin. I had booked a queen-size bed, and there were two quilt covers provided. I ended up using one as an extra layer for added comfort. Unfortunately, the toilet was not properly cleaned and appeared to have not been washed after the previous guest.

One day before my stay, the host contacted me to confirm my arrival time and arranged for a pickup. When I arrived at the station, he was already there waiting for me. The room looked exactly like the pictures. The host and his family were very hospitable. He is currently learning to communicate in English, so future guests might be pleasantly surprised. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there. Also, the dog was very cute and quiet most of the time.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street, free from the hustle and bustle of the main artery of the Ancient City but still extremely close to it. It's located in one of the old buildings with a wonderful courtyard where you can chill in peace.

it was a pleasant 3 days 2 nights stay with the hotel, they offer foc pick up and drop off service from the train station (advance booking required). Is within walking distance to the main street in the ancient city, appreciate the quiet stay. The stay experience is unique with a proper 四合院offering adequate cleanliness too. Bed is huge too, the room that i booked comes with 2 bedroom, 2 baths, 2 huge beds that can sleeps up to 4 per bed Feels like home.
