Happy Holidays. We have a long holiday with a very big room (2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and 1 big living room with a kitchen area) that is good and suitable for a family of 5 like us. My children love the swimming pool, balcony, sports room and hotel cat. Good location, it is near the beach and food is within a short walking distance. It is the first time for my children in Phuket. Everything is ok and safe for them. Good service, all reception staff are very friendly especially Khun Bou and a lady with long hair who has a beautiful smile and helped us a lot. We are happy to see the security at the entrance. They smiled and said ”Sawasdee karb” every time we passed by. We like the sea views from both the bedrooms balcony and mountain view from the living room to have lunch and watch the sunset, no need to find any restaurant because we have everything from our rooms, just need to buy food from outside. The few things that would be better if they can improve is the bathroom sink is too high for my little daughter, a lot of dried leaves in the pool and noises from the pubs which alerted us a few days but later we got used to it. But overall it is ok. Good 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊

Karon Beach
We stayed at Centara villas for 2 nights. Overall it was a lovely villa with grand ocean view which we really enjoyed the serene vibes. Location is slightly away from the busy area which is situated on the hill. You may need to take grab/bolt for going out to the main Karon beach side and dining area. Service is prompt as hotel provides shuttle from the lobby to your villa and vice versa. Every staff is polite and welcoming with a sincere smile on their face. Breakfast is a bit dull and they may need to upgrade their menu on a daily basis. Facility and amenity wise it has everything we ask and expect for.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed that gave me a great night’s rest. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch, especially the pool and gym, which allowed me to relax during my trip. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious food. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations, and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. I’m looking forward to staying here again! --- This review highlights the service, facilities, and overall experience, making it suitable for a five-star hotel review.

A decent hotel that has undergone big renovation recently.. they said it took almost 2 years to do the overhaul renovation though there are still hits and misses as pristine it is not. Hits - rather new and modern looking. Pretty sumptuously buffet breakfast with smiling service staff although I wish they will brush up on their command of their English language for ease of effective communication.  Misses:  The elevator is old and not renovated. Well the guest room which I stayed in is decent with big floor to ceiling windows on both sides with mountain and a far away ocean view, the bathroom is not the most practical. Furnishing and fixtures are also of sub-par quality.  Location wise this comes down to personnel preferences. It’s tucked away inside a very busy chaotic, old street filled with shops, restaurants and bars. Whilst is rather convenient in that regard, I personally prefer to stay somewhere in a far less busy and bustling street. Especially when the neighbourhood is rather hideous looking filled with old ugly buildings and even uglier and mind boggling is the overhead wires / cables running across the buildings. What an eye sore for seekers of idyllic vacation.   I will rather choose to stay in a neighbour hood such as Kata Noi or Nai Harn Beach. Or at least on the promenade facing ocean side of the Karon away from the maddening crowds and many hideous surrounding sights. Thus, alas the location and neighbourhood of  Centara Karon for me was def the least desirable part of my entire stay this time in Phuket.

Karon Beach
Hotel is right on the beach in Karon (only hotel which offers this I believe) so the location is perfect for those who want beach access. Nothing else in the nearby area though, apart from a beach restaurant called Daengs - very reasonably priced food and drinks here; you will visit this place plenty rather than eating and drinking in the hotel. Compared to what you get outside, the hotels prices are high and you’d be foolish to eat all the time in the hotel with so many great food options in Karon, Patong and Kata. Karon town centre is about a 15-20 min walk along the beach - you have to cross a river on the beach so be prepared to get wet feet. Otherwise the walk into town is on a busy road with no walkway, so be prepared to use Bolt (this is best for Phuket NOT Grab) or a taxi to get anywhere from this hotel unless you walk along the beach. Our room was huge - Premium Room - and we had a huge wraparound balcony. However the balcony seemed like a bit of a waste of space (the “lounge” area was outside) - personally I think if it’s going to be designed as a suite with a lounge area, that should be inside the room not on the balcony as it was a waste of space. I’d probably only book this room category if I liked sitting outside all the time - a standard balcony with more space inside would’ve worked better. Having said that, the buildings and the grounds are IMMACULATE and BEAUTIFUL and you really do feel like you are staying in a paradise resort. The pool areas are great, there is a lazy river, slides and a cliff you can jump off - it’s a lot of fun for water babies! The only downside (other than no 7-11 or no other restaurants nearby) is that there are a LOT OF STAIRS to tackle here at the resort. There seem to be only 2 x elevators which will take you from the ground floor up to the bedrooms - and they are situated at either end of all the blocks. We stayed in block 4 and it was a 15 min trek back to the room from the pool. Or you walk up 72 stairs…yes, 72 stairs, to get to your block. Not advisable for elderly or infirm people. If there were more elevators (and clearly marked step free access) then this would make the resort a lot better.
