GGuest UserI was able to stay in an authentic cave hotel at a reasonable price.
The room was clean, there were amenities provided, and the free water was appreciated.
The hair dryer also had a strong airflow.
There were plenty of photo spots in the garden, so you could take pictures with the rocks in the background.
The breakfast was also delicious, and I was glad to be able to eat vegetables and fruit.
Staying at this hotel was a great experience.

CchongyixiongOur family had an incredible stay at Kayakapi Caves in Cappadocia. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the unique cave-style architecture and the stunning hilltop location, which offered breathtaking views both at sunrise and under the night sky.
The rooms seamlessly blended a rustic charm with modern comforts, and having an in-room hamam was an absolute treat. The spa facilities were top-notch, providing a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. While walking around the property was a joy, the buggy service was a great convenience for those who preferred to ride.
The breakfast spread at the restaurant was delightful, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options. But beyond the aesthetics and amenities, it was the exceptional service from the team that truly made our stay special.
Kayakapi Caves is a destination in itself, and staying here while experiencing the magic of this UNESCO site made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended!

BBaharZimmer war wunderschön mit Hamam 😍 aber Da unser Zimmer ganz unten war hatten wir keinen Netz. WLAN hat ab bestimmter Uhrzeit nicht mehr funktioniert. Warmes Wasser ging 2tage lang nicht nachdem wir es gemeldet haben. Hat sich der Personal sofort darum gekümmert.

Hhvoldjethe stuff is sooo friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, the hotel location is near the ortahisar castle and the most popular street of the town with restaurants. it is 10 min from Göreme by car. the room is clean, comfortable, has everything you could need and WARM - the weather was cold and rainy, so this fact saved ours cold asses. but if you go during the warm or hot weather, take into account that room has no ventilation (no windows as well) except the door. so i recommend to book a room with a window here :)

GGuest UserThe hotel property is very nice and the staff was exceptional. Except the air in the room was very stale and hot, and we were put right next to the road so it was very noisy and hard to sleep, the roof of the room is made from wood so along with car noise and a bus of people being very loud at 6am then around 7:30 the people upstairs walked on top of our heads for an hour and cars almost shake the room. Also the pool is too cold in May to swim…all in all it is a nice hotel with very polite staff but I recommend asking for a quiet room away from the road and a fan for a decent sleep. Breakfast was very good.

NNat 李凤临I loved the unique design of each room. This is the hotel’s strongest point. We got the Shaman in the ground floor but upgraded to Sanctuary because of the access to the terrace and better bed (+ sofa). I also enjoyed the pool, the library and the bar/lounge & restaurant. The food was excellent, breakfast (a la carte for the eggs, but a huge spread was provided each morning), portions decent and prices reasonable. Housekeeping could use some improvement (more towels, better cleaning, doing everything the same not completely differently). Staff was polite and professional, but distant, lacking the human touch. We had to ask that sauna be turned on and then wait for it to warm up but it was never really hot, just like the Hamam. The massages and private tours were insanely expensive so we didn’t get them there. The lunch box on our last day was disappointing.

AAKooThe facilities inside were wonderfully clean. The outdoor pool was a bit deep, but the poolside was also spotless. All the staff were very friendly! Breakfast was truly fantastic. I'll also add that the cats were adorable! I thought the location might be a bit tricky, but since we had stayed in the center of Cappadocia beforehand, we were very satisfied with the peaceful environment of this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Melis Cave Hotel in Ürgüp, Cappadocia, and it far exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality and genuine care from the staff made me feel truly valued and at home in this stunning cave hotel setting.
I had booked a standard room, but upon check-in, I was delighted to be upgraded to a spacious and beautifully appointed suite. The room was not only comfortable and elegantly designed but also offered the unique charm of a traditional Cappadocian cave dwelling combined with modern amenities. It was quiet, impeccably clean, and provided a perfect sanctuary after days of exploring the magical fairy chimneys and historical sites of the region.
The service went well beyond standard expectations. The hotel provided complimentary transportation, which proved incredibly convenient for visiting local attractions. On my final day, they thoughtfully arranged free food—a generous and welcome gesture that added a personal touch to my departure. Additionally, the staff provided a detailed map of the area and were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, bookings, or any other needs that arose. Their proactive and attentive support truly enhanced my entire experience.

Very Good
DDaphne MLWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.. it's at ibrahimpasa, a quiet area outside of the main touristy areas of goreme and uchisar. We checked in easily, and we were immediately impressed by the rooms we booked (the deluxe cave suite with jacuzzi). We stayed in Room 404.
After the first night, we informed the reception that our jacuzzi wasn't working, and they upgraded our room to the imperial cave suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. It was lovely and we appreciated the kind gesture. They also helped us with luggage as we moved rooms (to Room 401), and it was all a seamless experience despite the mild inconvenience.
The rooms we stayed in were always warm even in winter, and we never found anything to be lacking. Just a note for light sleepers, Room 401 is along the stairs/walkway down to the lower levels, so if there guests who come back late at night and are loud, you will most definitely hear it!
Breakfast selection was simple but sufficient, with an espresso coffee machine I really appreciated after drinking Turkish coffee for a week!
A small note that the bathrooms often smelled a little bad, perhaps it's the sewage system. Not a big problem tho. It's barely noticeable.
We rented a car and drove, so getting in and out of town was never a problem. Parking is available at the hotel, and is free, if you drive!
The roads leading in to the hotel are a little narrow, so definitely not for non-confident drivers, but we found it ok.
I don't really have photos of the room to share but rest assured the photos provided by the hotel are real and accurate.
