This homestay is the one that is closest to nature that I have ever lived in. Living in such a place with my dog, I can avoid the noise and troubles of the city, and I don’t have to walk the dog every day. When I open the door, there is a bamboo forest in the mountains. The dog is also very curious and excited. The boss is very enthusiastic and hospitable, and tries his best to meet the adjus**ent needs of the guests. During this period, he also needs to use the computer for work, and the boss’s charging cable is also very powerful! Sleeping at night is to experience sleeping in the mountains, with rustling wind and gurgling streams. Fortunately, their dog is very kind and sensible, and stays outside at night, which makes me feel safe. A farmhouse a few steps away has ok dishes. If you want to eat something else, you have to drive. I personally think that this homestay is very suitable for retreat and rest. Stay in it quietly to read books, work and think about your thoughts. But if you want to see various attractions, you have to drive out. I personally take my dog with me and rest aimlessly, which is quite suitable.

This guesthouse has so much character! The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design. The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

Lanmeimei_ZJOur family's first summer trip – Naked Stables. Our little one rushed to Moganshan right after school, still in her uniform! Even though it was the rainy season, it had its own unique charm.
**Environment:** Secluded and tranquil, with various standalone round houses or villas nestled in the valley. The landscape design ensures excellent privacy. There are also plenty of activities, making it a great place for a holiday!
**Facilities:** The in-room amenities are all excellent, and the minibar is well-stocked. Even the chargeable snacks are delicious! On rainy days, it's perfect for enjoying tea and snacks in the room. However, the bathroom in the round house felt a bit small, and the shower facilities were located on the balcony, which was inconvenient to use on rainy evenings. My elderly parents had no choice but to use the bathtub, which was quite inconvenient. Later, we discovered the water heater wasn't working. The butler responded quickly, but it took an hour to fix the hardware, and still no hot water. The duty manager then proactively and very thoughtfully came to check on us and kindly moved us to another room where we could finally enjoy a comfortable hot shower.
**Service:** The butler service contacted us by phone before check-in to pre-register our license plate, allowing for seamless entry without stopping. The hotel also offers a wide range of entertainment programs for both adults and children. Our child loved it, quietly enjoying handicraft activities and horseback riding. Our little girl especially adored it and rode for half an hour each day during our two-day stay.
**Exquisite Naked Stables Souvenirs:** The cups are commemorative, and each room area is named after an animal. The various merchandise sold in the lobby is also very appealing and meaningful; we bought some to take home!
**Restaurants:** There's an Italian Western restaurant and a Chinese restaurant, both with good food. The set menus at the Western restaurant were decent, and à la carte options weren't expensive.

I particularly loved the ESG concept of Banyan Tree. After much deliberation, I chose a day when the afterglow of the white dolphins was still present to come to Anji for some water fun. With both young and old in our group, and considering the kids' boisterous age and the elders' preference for quiet, we opted for a courtyard villa with a private hot spring.
The night before check-in: A butler (Summer) called to confirm our arrival time the next day, specific arrangements for our group, and any special requests. She also proactively shared information about the hotel's dining and entertainment facilities, as well as recommended nearby attractions (a detail worth praising: travel time and operating hours were clearly marked).
Check-in: We arrived at the hotel after 3 PM on the day of check-in. A staff member offered us cool towels and welcome tea, which indeed helped alleviate much of the summer heat. The green pastry also looked quite refreshing. As it was peak summer season and our booked villa was one of a back-to-back sequence, we waited for about 15 minutes. During the wait, a staff member offered us white tea to taste. Our group spent time outside the Lobby bar, where we could take in a panoramic view of the outdoor pool and the hotel's staggered architecture, with perfectly placed greenery.
Our butler, Summer, and a concierge staff member drove us to our room in a buggy. The villa numbers in the villa area gave a sense of 'a journey unfolding, with a promising future.' We stayed in 2020, and the privacy was excellent. It was a one-bedroom, one-living room layout with a high ceiling, visually about 5 meters. Even during a thunder and lightning storm that night, there was only a very subtle sound inside the room, demonstrating the careful selection of soundproofing materials. The private hot spring was in the courtyard, constant temperature with massage jets. After a 'special forces' day of activities, sitting by the pool and massaging our legs was incredibly relaxing, so much so that we didn't even use the large bathtub in the bathroom. The first round of the mini-bar was complimentary and generally met the needs of a family, with milk for the kids, 'happy water' (soda) and beer for adults, and juices for health-conscious individuals. The hotel also thoughtfully provided a dehumidifier and air purifier on the first floor to address humidity and air quality. The two gentlemen in our group found it particularly convenient to step out into the courtyard for a smoke whenever they opened the door. There was turn-down service every night, which included stress-relief squishy toys for the children. If I had one minor suggestion, it would be more convenient to have another phone in the living room. Wi-Fi connection was easy, but the speed was average.
The soft services at the hotel were excellent. Every staff member we encountered had a proactive service mindset, and when walking in the villa area, they would thoughtfully greet guests and offer directions.
We went to the outdoor pool in the late afternoon, and it was truly beautiful. The children had a great time in the kids' pool, while the indoor pool was relatively neglected.
Breakfast was at the Shang Fang Thai Restaurant. Every night, Summer would thoughtfully remind us of the dining times and peak hours to avoid crowds and enhance the dining experience. The outdoor area of the restaurant was particularly impressive, with water stations for dogs and a spot for practicing Ba Duan Jin (a type of Qigong). The indoor buffet stations were concentrated, with a rich variety. I particularly liked the pho, which had a light flavor. It's worth mentioning that the front and back of the restaurant worked seamlessly together; there were no food shortages even during peak hours, and the chefs were very willing to interact with guests and were friendly to children.
The bedding was very comfortable, and towels, etc., felt brand new, having been updated in July, offering an excellent user experience. Men's and women's toiletries bags were separately equipped with razors, cotton pads, and shower caps, addressing everyone's differentiated needs. My husband really liked the scent of the shower gel and plans to look for the same one at home. The room's blackout curtains were very effective. Waking up in the morning and opening the curtains to enjoy the green view outside was truly wonderful – this must be the meaning of hard work, haha.
On the second evening, small peacocks delivered a turn-down surprise. Opening the window revealed beauty (they were actually seeking shelter from the rain). Soon after, the staff escorted them back to their coop. Hehe, a testament to the staff's efficiency.
My butler was still sending reminders for the next day after 10 PM every night, and then early in the morning around 8 AM, she sent comforting messages and inquired about a convenient time for room cleaning. These were actually her personal non-working hours, which speaks to the dedication of hotel staff. Thank you for your efforts. I hope this humble sharing can help everyone solidify their choices.

Guest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed!
We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving.
One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home.
Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

For our winter break trip, the butler contacted us via WeChat a week in advance. Knowing our child was young, they proactively asked if we needed a playpen. The playpen was already set up after we checked in – so thoughtful!
The hotel's children's playground is large, on the second floor, and quite clean. Our child loved it, and we changed our original plans to go out and play instead of staying at the hotel.
The food was also good, especially the breakfast. During our two-night stay, one day they had xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and paper-wrapped siu mai (steamed dumplings), and the second day they had char siu bao (barbecued pork buns) and shrimp siu mai. The usual dishes included spare ribs, chicken feet, and rice noodle rolls, all very delicious. There was also a non-spicy beef rib dish that was incredibly tender, which our child especially loved.
The complimentary dinner set meal was also quite good, with high-quality, fresh ingredients.
Nearby attractions include Chengshangou and Longzhimeng Zoo.

Guest UserThis hotel is great, Treasure Island theme, cabin style, very special; the whole villa is still under development, the concierge brother drove us to visit the whole mountain with a battery car, and patiently explained, the scenery is beautiful, if all the development is completed, it will definitely come back to see; The service here is absolutely five-star, from the front desk to the concierge to the restaurant, it feels absolutely at home. The view in the room is also very good, spacious enough, even the snacks and drinks prepared in the refrigerator are also very high-grade; breakfast is a luxury package, Chinese and Western combination, can not be finished at all.
This is one of the few hotels that have stayed in recent years.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Magical Family Escape at Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel, Anji County (11–13 July 2026)
We recently stayed at Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel in Anji County from 11–13 July 2026, and overall it was a wonderful family experience.
This hotel is much more than just a place to stay — it is a complete family holiday destination designed around children, imagination and creating unforgettable memories.
🌟 Exceptional Service from Shi Jun — A True Credit to the Hotel
Before arriving, I honestly considered cancelling our reservation due to communication difficulties. However, one person completely changed our experience — Shi Jun from the front desk team.
Shi Jun demonstrated truly exceptional hospitality. Through WeChat, he patiently communicated with us, answered every question and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He helped us when we were close to giving up on the reservation, arranged room changes, helped find a suitable place for me to work, assisted when we needed to visit the hospital, and continued to care about every detail of our family’s needs.
His professionalism, kindness and genuine concern for guests represent the very best of hospitality. Shi Jun is a young man who is a true credit to Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel. For his service alone, I would give 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
🌟 Beautiful, Spacious and Immaculately Clean Rooms
The room was one of the biggest highlights of our stay. It was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. The family design created a warm and welcoming environment, with excellent bedding, a well-maintained bathroom and plenty of space for parents and children.
For families travelling with young children, cleanliness and comfort are essential — and Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel truly delivered.
🍳 Excellent and Abundant Breakfast
The breakfast was another highlight. There was a fantastic selection of food suitable for both adults and children. The variety was impressive and provided a great start to each day.
👨👩👧 A Wonderful Family-Friendly Environment
The greatest strength of this hotel is its understanding of families. Everything is designed with children in mind, creating a place where children can feel excited, happy and full of imagination.
Our child especially enjoyed the family atmosphere, and it was wonderful to see so many families creating happy memories together.
❤️ Great Potential with Some Areas for Improvement
The hotel has an excellent foundation: beautiful rooms, a fantastic concept, wonderful family facilities and a great location. With some improvements, it has the potential to become one of the best family resorts in Anji.
🌍 International Guest Communication
As an international guest, communication was sometimes challenging. Unfortunately, none of the staff members we met could speak English, and some were reluctant to use translation tools. Basic English support or greater willingness to use translation applications would greatly improve the experience for overseas visitors.
🧑🍳 Breakfast Service Professionalism
Although breakfast was excellent, we noticed the chef using his phone in the breakfast area during service time. For a family resort with such great potential, maintaining professionalism in all public areas is important.
🌙 Night Reception Service
At approximately 5:00 am, we needed assistance because our room key required reactivation. Unfortunately, nobody was immediately available at reception. A 24-hour guest service presence would improve the overall experience.
🚗 Arrival Experience
The entrance creates the first impression. We noticed the security staff member appeared distracted using his phone and smoking rather than actively welcoming guests. A more professional arrival service would better reflect the quality of this beautiful resort.
🌧️ Typhoon Weather — More Indoor Activities Needed
During our stay, a typhoon affected the weather and some outdoor facilities were closed. While this cannot be controlled, more indoor childr

房间干净,风景好,但服务、体验感、性价比一般。
This place is designed for the 'gram, not the 3000 RMB/night experience. The room is beautiful, you've seen that already, but here's my genuine experience that I hope helps set your expectations.
Overall, bare minimum service. There is no proper front desk reception, and I had to remind them to set up the butler group chat the day before arrival because there were no instructions. Upon arrival, the main door was locked. Someone eventually came and brought my luggage up to the room, and that was it. No friendly chats, no personal touch, no estate introduction or tour, no other instructions, just a few pre-set WeChat images. The butler is quite responsive on chat but often provides incomplete answers.
Service at breakfast was cold. No one welcomes you when you walk in, and there was no proper introduction to what was available. There was only one staff member at breakfast. He eventually came over and asked which main dish I'd like. There was no mention of Western vs. Chinese options until I overheard someone else's order. Most of the time he was standing at the kitchen entrance using his phone loudly, which made it hard to get his attention. The loud phone noise made the experience quite unpleasant, as I was hoping for a relaxing, quiet breakfast.
Food options are very limited for a solo traveller. I ordered ******* for every lunch and dinner. I was quite hungry in the late afternoon and looking forward to the savory snacks in the afternoon tea set. I ordered them to my room and was told the ”chef had a family emergency” and could not prepare the fries and popcorn chicken, though I later saw someone else having the complete set in the lobby. :/
I saw another review a few months back giving feedback that there was no floor mat near the hot tub area. Even though they always respond to negative reviews the same way, saying they will improve, the problem was unfortunately not fixed. You only have one floor mat at the shower area and have to remember to bring it across the room to the hot tub area, or you'll be dripping wet on a slippery floor when you exit the tub.
Soundproofing is bad. There is a road right next to the room, and you can hear occasional cars passing by. During my stay, farmers were harvesting bamboo, and you could hear the loud truck engines (which sounded like excavators) and them talking loudly. Mad respect for farmers, just highlighting the downside of the location that you dont see in the nice photos.
The whole experience was strange because it felt like other guests were there for photoshoot over an actual hotel stay experience. You could see beautifully dressed ladies posing at every corner of the estate. Nothing wrong with that, just not something I'm used to.
The experience is not without positives. The room I stayed in 【云渌】 had an insanely beautiful view, which was what I came for. It directly faces the bamboo forest and mountains. On good days, you'll probably be able to see a nice sunset. The room was clean and had great, thoughtful amenities, including Le Labo toiletries, a small pack of laundry detergent, eye masks, earplugs, and a Dyson hairdryer, to name a few. I also loved the huge private balcony it came with.
I was really looking forward to this stay, but coming from another 民宿 I absolutely enjoyed, the service here was a stark contrast. This place has so much potential if they could brush up on the professionalism of the service crew to match the aesthetic and pricetag. I sincerely wish them well and hope the service can be improved.

My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep.
However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
