Most amenities in this hotel show commitment to better our planet. There are no more plastic water bottles in the hotel, rather cold still water and sparkling water on tap in the lobby, where you can refill your container or grab a glass, for free. Access to floors and rooms is with bamboo-made magnetic cards 💳, very stylish. There are also 4 automatic coffee machines ☕️ where one can help oneself to cappuccinos, mochas, single and double espressos, americanos, etc. Free breakfast included croissants 🥐 , chocolate croissants, cold meats, yogurt, fruits 🍎 , cheeses 🧀, cereal 🥣, eggs 🥚 you can boil at your own taste and more. From 6:30am to 8:00am is the best time to get it, after that, it gets busier until 10:00 am when it’s removed. ROOM AMENITIES There were eight European type-C 200V outlets across the room and 2 USB outlets by one side of the main bed. When we arrived, the sofa beds 🛋 were already converted to beds and made; we thought of this as a very nice and smart gesture, considering that many hotels we’ve stayed at have sofa-beds with missing linens and we have to do the work. The bathroom is a minimalist expression of a bathroom: Curtains or sliding door is missing from the shower so after showering 🚿 you’ll notice a bit of water that needs to be wiped off, just for your own safety. Toilet, shower and sink are all in the bathroom and there was no lock in the room we got. Blame the jet-lag or not, the IKEA-type simple beds 🛏 were very comfy! It just would have been nice to have light sheets during one warm night, instead of just the thick covers. There was no safe in the room and only one safe for the whole hotel, operated by the manager. Apparently they haven’t had an incident “ever” and we didn’t experience anything either, leaving valuables such as passports, electronics, home keys 🔑, etc. AROUND THE HOTEL Excellent location: 🚶🏻 Walking distance from about 20 different restaurants as well as the Port D’Italie Metro 🚇 and Bus 🚌 station, where you can easily and inexpensively find transport.Oh, and very close to Paris’ interior circuit Boulevard Périphérique Intérieur, in case of driving around. Considering the €125 nightly rate for a room that can host 6 people that can be fed breakfast everyday, I’d say it’s a great deal. #ruizmedina⭐️

This is a well located, comfortable hotel. Beds and rooms are good and it’s a good base from which to explore Paris, with Bercy Metro station, buses, and Gare de Lyon all nearby. Many people where staying to attend the Queen gig in the Accor Arena next door. It’s next to a park, and near the relatively new Bercy Village shopping centre. In the lobby there is a constant supply of chilled water from a dispenser, a real boon in the hot weather. Breakfast was limited and could get crowded. But the outside terrace bar can be used , and that means that there is plenty of seating. What wasn’t so good was the event one night with a DJ playing really loud music for a gathering of about 25-30 people. It was either a private party for someone with not many friends or a spectacularly badly marketed public event. The volume was out of all proportion to the numbers present. As a hotel, surely your core business is providing rooms for people to rest in, not putting on events which disturb the entire hotel?

We had a cold night with no heating in the room. Only one bath towel is provided. The location was very convenient because it was right next to the exit of the subway station and you could walk to North Station (5 minutes). I think breakfast is normal. The staff was also nice.

Hotel was extremely easy to find and located very near two metro stations, Rome and Europe. Receptionist on arrival was very nice, speaking in French and English. City tax was dirt cheap, €7 for two people for two nights. We paid €50 for two people for 4 nights in Amsterdam earlier in the year so for comparison this was a lot better price. The room was nice, clean, comfortable, air con worked perfectly ( it was 30 degrees when we went). Shower lovely but a bit small if you’re claustrophobic. No fridge though. Perfect for a two night stay and would’ve stayed longer if I could. It was lovely and quiet, we even had a balcony however when you opened the door all you could hear were police and ambulance sirens. When I shut the door, I couldn’t hear a thing which was a relief. The hotel is quite close to the centre of Paris and gare de nord train station, it is 5-6 stops on the metro but the metro is a lot quicker in comparison to London Underground. Budget hotel but a lot better quality than most hotels I’ve stayed in before.

Do not believe we could have found a better option, nearly in the pricerange, for us. Family with 2 kids. Nice renovated in modern style... Breakfast topped our expectations... Great arear and easy transport opportunities... Had an early flight out so they ordrede a taxi and put out full breakfast menu at 0420 in the night... Thank you :-) Ibis

The location is very close to the subway station and the surrounding area is very lively. The staff are very polite and lovely. It's convenient to store luggage. The service is good. The room is very small and crude. The toilet does not separate the wet and dry areas. It is not convenient, but it is very clean.

I think some of the reviews I have seen on here are way too harsh. This hotel is a budget hotel in a popular part of Paris, if you want 5 star luxury in Paris you will have to pay a lot more than the fee to stay here. The staff are relaxed and quite friendly when you get to know them, I find them to be very nice and helpful, normal people doing there job, they didn't jump through hoops just did was is required, in a pleasant enough fashion, that works for me. The rooms are small, but in Paris I have stayed in smaller. For two people the rooms are just about big enough, they are clean, which is important, the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are dated but clean and everything worked so that's fine, happy enough with that. The breakfast included was actually pretty good, was expecting gourmet all inclusive but there's enough to give you a start in the morning with a decent enough coffee. Overall for the amount of money you pay, this is about as good as your going to get in that part of Paris, which is very popular for tourists, would I recommend it, yes, would I stay there again, yes, definitely, and I probably will as I enjoy Paris and that hotel catered for us perfectly. Really appreciate all the staff who work there, apologies I didn't catch your names, but you do a good job and I appreciate it.

We arrived at this Ibis after a 2 minute walk from Gare Nord (Eurostar). The room was small as most city centre budget hotels are; but a lick of bright white paint would not go amiss as the place has a look of a morgue. The room was clean and tidy as was the equally small bathroom - we thought we had seen and used the smallest sink at Travelodge London City but how wrong we were; this one takes the biscuit. Breakfast was good and with an average selection little wonder these hotels avoid a full English. Overall a good location next to the stations and close to the canal that runs through Paris - use it, it makes a nice change from Notre Dame and the likes. Nice staff.

Bon rapport qualité/prix (chambre + petit déjeuner) Personnel accueillant (sauf une personne un après midi qui a disparue de l’accueil pendant plus de 30 minute, nous étions plusieurs clients a le chercher dans l’hôtel !). Les chambres sont petites mais agréables. Le gros point faible a été la chaleur dans la chambre, pas de climatisation (l’hôtesse d’accueil nous a informé que la climatisation n’avait toujours pas était mise en marche). Le petit déjeuner est bien garni, il manque quand même des fruits frais et un grille pain. Boissons chaudes et eau fraîche sont à volontés à l’accueil. Métro 14 et 7 sont proches et des restaurants comme le Thaï viet gourmet. Bon hôtel avec enfants.

Location gives this hotel a higher rating in my opinion. Close to the Metro and 30 minutes walk to Notre Dam. Nearby street, Rue René Boulanger had good bars and restaurants. Swapped rooms when we arrived, as the 6th floor room had sloped ceilings in the bathroom and anyone of average height would have difficulties standing upright in the shower. Breakfast was continental with an ample selection of eggs, breads, sliced meat and freshly squeezed orange juice. Staff helpful and friendly. Overall a good base to explore Paris.
