Overall, it is a very good hotel. The location is very close to the North Station. The boys at the front desk are very gentleman and also introduced me to eat in the restaurant diagonally opposite the hotel. Their burdock is delicious.
Breakfast is special, not downstairs in the hotel, they provided instructions to walk along an alley to another hotel for breakfast. The restaurant is in a good environment, but there are not many food choices, especially my Chinese stomach.
The fly in the ointment is that the air conditioner is a bit noisy at night, and is independent of each room. In addition, the elevator can only accommodate two suitcases and one person at the same time.
The room was clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful. There are many excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel location is perfect, just 5 mins walk to Paris North Station, making it easy to reach any part of the city by bus or subway.
Despite being in a bustling area, the room was wonderfully quiet, offering a peaceful retreat from the city.
I will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Paris!
”I found the hotel a bit challenging to locate due to its small and inconspicuous sign; a larger and clearer sign would greatly improve accessibility. Once inside, I found the rooms to be on the smaller side, but they were nicely appointed and provided a cozy atmosphere.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with a pleasant surprise of coffee and small pieces of cake, a thoughtful gesture by the hotel staff. Speaking of the staff, the reception service was exceptional; they were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay.
However, there was an issue with my room. Despite booking the cheapest private room, I encountered some wood pieces in the roof with termites. Unfortunately, a few fell onto the bed and coffee table during my stay. This is a serious concern that the hotel administrator needs to address urgently.
Overall, while there were some drawbacks, the positive aspects of the hotel, such as the welcoming reception service and nice amenities, outweighed the negatives. With improvements to signage and urgent attention to maintenance issues, this hotel has the potential to provide an even better experience for its guests.”
We stayed 3 days at this hotel. The hotel is quite clean, though located in a quite old structure. Good location just a few steps from the Gare du Nord and the metro. Breakfast with buffet varies quite from average quality.
The inconvenience happened when we arrived, they misplaced our room, and we wake up to change our room, uncomfortable attitude with promise of partial refund never happened, all in a discreet way compared to the Paris fees.
I had a wonderful stay at Lennon by Avalon Hotel! The location was perfect—just a few minutes’ walk from Gare du Nord, which made traveling with an infant much easier. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English, which was a huge relief after a long journey.
The room was clean, cozy, and surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area. They also provided a baby cot upon request, which made our stay more comfortable. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped, and we appreciated the daily housekeeping.
There were plenty of food options nearby, and the convenience of having supermarkets and cafes within walking distance was a plus.
Overall, it was a great value for money and ideal for families or couples looking for a comfortable stay in central Paris. I’d definitely come back!
The hotel is near a lot of cafes and has some grocery stores near. However it can get pretty noisy especially at night, but they provide noise cancelling earbuds which helped and let me sleep thru the night.
The breakfast was very good and tasted good the staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. Also if the AC/Heater doesn’t work don’t hesitate to ask the staff. We didn’t ask for the first 2 nights but on the 3rd we did and they helped us, so that’s on us. Sadly you can hear pretty much everything your room neighbors say and we got woken up a lot by ppl checking out at 4am. The stairs are wooden and are pretty loud. The elevator is pretty small but works. However ppl that are claustrophobic may have a problem with this.
The bathroom is pretty small and it is smelly but clean it’s probably the pipes. This is a good place to stay for a few nights.

The location is excellent , many shops and supermarkets next to the hostel. The bathroom for girl floor is a bit small and dirty but acceptable. The room is nice but a bit noisy, you can listen clearly to people speak outside the window. Not recommended to light sleepers. Staff are friendly. Value of money.
Perfectly fine although lacking in some facilities other European hostels provide. Within 300m of the metro which heads into downtown Paris (pink #4 line), close to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre and 15 mins walk coming from Gare du Nord Eurostar. Good to have ensuite bathroom for 4 person dorms. Hostel bathroom showing its age. Breakfast available for 7 euro. A number of good nearby bakeries for breakfast too. Small limited kitchen. Lots of seating though.
Did not like the cages under the beds for storing luggage (need own lock) or the small lockers in the room (also requiring another lock with long shackle to use). Did not provide hand or bath soap.
