Staffs are very accommodating. The room and pool are clean. However, the location is about 20mins walk to the beach.

Dunno why, but on pictures it looks slightly better. Anyway everything was good. Room is clean, nice balcony. A minus - Water pressure was on second floor. Pool is a little tired, but clean. To the beach about 10 minutes to go. Along the main road and main street - not very nice and noisy, just be prepared. Area is quite, no cocks around. But we had quite loud neighbours ( bad luck). For Alona is quite good.

Very good location, convenient for eating and going out to the sea. Next time we will stay here and travel slowly. I like it. I like it! I'm happy to come again.

Nice, quiet hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, each room has its own balcony. 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. Located a little away from the main street, so it was quiet. I really liked the fruit shakes at the bar.

It's OK. Nothing bad. The price matches the accommodation.

I think it's a good place to stay for a while after taking a night flight. It's within walking distance from Henann Resort, and I was able to check in even if I arrived early in the morning. But a shower filter is essential ㅡㅡ;; The water is a mixture of yellowish yellow and it feels uncomfortable.

The service is not good and the room equipment is average.

I'm freezing to death without a quilt. I forgot to ask for one.

We booked this establishment by mistake. We wanted to book Alona Vida Beach which is on the seafront but the app sent us to this hotel. I didn't realize it (be careful when booking! Because there are two hotels with the same name, a beachfront hotel (alona vida beach) and this hotel in the center (alona vida beach resort hill ) ) However, we are not disappointed: the staff is kind and accommodating; The rooms are spacious and clean. On the other hand, no restaurant, no coffee available in the morning apart from espresso. There is a bar where they serve snacks (we didn’t try it) The location is ok, close to the center and about 900m from the beach (you have to go around because there is only one road that leads to the beach) The general impression is good

We enjoyed our stay at the Alona Vida Beach Hill Resort, but I think they need to change their confusing name! The staff were good at communicating by email and seemed generally efficient. The room we had (G4) was basic but comfortable with excellent air-con and WiFi. The selection of cable TV channels was excellent- much better than expected! There was a desk and space for laptop although they could probably do with a few more sockets for plugging things in. The kettle, for example, had no outlet nearby so had to be moved somewhere else in the room to make a cup of coffee. The bed was quite comfortable but a bit soft for my liking. The pillows were large, perhaps a bit too large. It would be nice to have some sort of blanket or duvet on the bed rather than just a sheet. The storage in the room was excellent with lots of drawer and hanging space. The room was kept spotlessly clean and there was no sign of any ants that had spoiled our stay somewhat at The Pyramid Resort last year. My main complaint about the room was the lighting which was dreadful- the bedside lamps were useless and the spotlights in the ceiling were simply too bright and unpleasant. Why was there no lamp on the writing desk- it definitely seems a logical place to put a light. The bathroom was perhaps my favorite part of the room- it had a lovely window so had natural light the whole day, not very common in hotel rooms these days. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the strange Filipino habit of not having any hot water in the washbasin, only in the shower- as the water was heated by a water heater in each shower unit. It wasn't a major problem but I'm not really a fan of shaving in the morning with cold water. The hot water in the shower was not particularly hot but it was okay. The decoration of the room was a bit disappointing- there was only one slightly strange painting on the wall over the bed. In Bohol there are lovely arts and crafts creations- it's a pity the owners of the hotel don't use some of those items to give the rooms a more Filipino/Boholano feel as the rooms are a bit bland. The room also needs an armchair of some sort so that two people can sit down to watch TV or have a drink without having to sit on the bed. We brought a chair in from the balcony, but it would be nice to have one permanently sitting in the corner. As for the rest of the hotel, the pool was lovely and the water temperature perfect. It was well maintained and the water was clean and very inviting. I am a Senior Citizen with some mobility problems so I was pleased to see that there were steps down into the pool, but unfortunately there is no railing. It would be so easy to put a railing down the middle of the steps which would make getting in and out of the pool so much easier for us Seniors or PWDs. That is perhaps something the owners of the hotel need to think about as safety is a real issue in hotels nowadays and access to the pool should be easy for everyone,

The place was okay they prepared a welcome drink when we arrived. The room was nice it was more on a hostel style rather than a fancy hotel but it was okay. They had a pool though it was a bit small. It was kind of like Boracay where there were a lot of night activities such as drinking and the like.

Alona Vida Beach Hill Resort is a very comfortable, quiet and clean hotel with a very nice pool, lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is food service and a bar. The food that I had was excellent. The facility is spotless clean, lots of hot water in the shower and an extremely comfortable bed. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and very welcoming. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended.
