Novotel Panama City Reviews

This is our go-to hotel in Panama City. It's not the best hotel, but it is unbeatable for its price and location. El Cangrejo has a nice local vibe, with locals walking their dogs, numerous cafes and restaurants, and convenience stores. There is a subway station within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing is that the hotel needs an upgrade in terms of furniture and decoration; the rooms are a bit dark and could benefit from better lighting.

Only spent a few hours due to layover but it’s in a great location and the staff was friendly.

A short walk to Via Argentina Metro station. The room size is ok big for me.

Everything was in close proximity. The room was clean and the bath was spacious. Definitely a 10/10 would recommend.

(-) internet connection can get slow but still bearable. You can't open the windows in the room. (+) polite and helpful staff. walking distance from the next (Via Argentina) metro station.

I loved the location, very close to main attractions. Room was good, but it could have been a bit more clean. The food at the restaurant was good, and the staff was very friendly and polite.

The staff were helpful. The building is a little old but it has all the facilities I need.  It has an onsite restaurant with good food.

The staff was responsive when I made requests (none were unreasonable or outrageous). Room had a refrigerator, safe, iron and good storage. The furniture was comfortable. I’ve come to Panama City 4 times in the last 6 months. It’s not the best hotel I’ve stayed in or the worst at the same price range. Everything has benefits or detriments. It just depends on what you like. It is in the El Congrejo area but only a block away from the busiest section so it is not loud while still being convenient.

The hotel is very clean and at a good location. We had a rental car and it has free parking.

Hotel room is spacious and clean. There is a restaurant opposite the hotel. Metro station Via Argentina is 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

The staffs we great, they ensure that your room is clean at all times even after telling them the room doesn’t needs cleaning they still come back to ask. They were very friendly and pleasant. The check in process was very simple and smooth. Will definitely be staying there again

I stayed in Novotels everywhere in the world, but this one is most simple i saw before. It’s ok for night stay, because clean, quiet and comfortable. Only one thing very surprised me - for meeting guest in room they ask 65$ (I pay for room 50$). All Novotels in the world allow to have guests, this not.

The lady in the front desk at night was extremely helpful and patient, will come back here!
