Thon Hotel Cecil Reviews

This is a great hotel to stay at on your trip to Bergen. The hotel has a fantastic location close to the water front and an easy walk to the tram, shopping, restaurants, among the many attractions. There are so many different places to eat and a wide variety of food to chose from. The hotel is staffed by very nice people who speak a variety of languages. There is free coffee and tea around the corner from the reception, and they have a small reception area with some seating to you can get a drink or just wait for friends to come down to the lobby. The breakfast, which opens at 6:30 is a dream! One of the best breakfasts I have seen in many years of traveling. The room are good sized, but that obvious depends on what you ask/pay for. We enjoyed out stay here immensely!

Great location, clean, friendly staff and awesome breakfast! Room is spacious too and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Very good location. The breakfast is excellent, super complete and of very good quality. One point against it is that they only have one Nespresso machine and people gather waiting. Everything else is a 10.

All the elevators didn't work, not for a few hours, but still didn't work from the afternoon until noon the next day. The waiters were nice but they couldn't solve the problem

This is the friendliest hotel. If I had a choice, I would choose this hotel first.
