The blue rock was badly run down and some of it had already fallen down, the food and drinks menu very restricted. No fridge or safety deposit box in rooms we booked which were over 2000 pesos each a night can not recommend this hotel now to stay at. It use to be one of finest hotel and restaurant on baloy beach road now mousey.

The service was terrible and the food was way overpriced. Alcohol is way overpriced, but the location on the beach is good except for people trying to sell you constantly trinkets while you’re trying to eat your dinner. The rooms are very unsecured with the locks on the door.

This not Bue Rock it's green Rock I would have to say this hotel is the second worst I have stayed in my whole life , it's tired not maintained , pool was green , food was disgustingly not fresh , only good to say is the closeness to the beach , beer was cold and 24 hour check in refer to photos

One of the many resorts along the Subic Bay. Needs some renovation. After I was escorted to the room I had to return to the reception desk for asking to switch on electric power inside the room. Phones in rooms? - Never heard of those. There was 2 small pieces of soap ('toiletries'), and 2 instant packs of 'complimentary coffee'. But there was no electric kettle, nor drinking water in this room. Meal in the restaurant too pricy. Didn't really like the place

Quality of room is poor against its price. Foods are good and location is good on beach. Need improvement for room cleaning and services

Ctrip's staff is very good. If there are any problems, the hotel will try its best to satisfy the customers. I feel the experience is good.

I am a business traveler and have stayed in hotels all over the world from 1-5 stars. My only hotel requirements are clean, quiet and no bugs and this place certainly met those. I need nothing in a hotel room (bring my own toiletries/snacks) so the lack of was no problem for me. As stated in other reviews, the place is dated and a little rundown, probably hasn't been renovated since Vietnam War era but again, it was clean, quiet and no bugs so that was no issue for me. The room was right on the beach and you can easily walk to town. 7-11 and McDonalds are close by. Price was right around $60 usd which was fair. There is a resterant and bar onsite and staff was friendly. If you are picky or want luxury, you may want to stay elsewhere but I was fine with this place and would probably stay here again.

The deluxe room had a refrigerator, but no bottled water and no tea or coffee facilities. There was no housekeeping for the duration of our stay. The bar staff were disinterested in serving customers, the beers were more expensive than close by resorts and not particularly cold. The last night of our stay the bathroom stunk of raw sewerage. The owner wandered around, never stopping to speak with customers, and this is a customer service business. There's better resorts available nearby.

Had stayed at Blue Rick numerous times in the past, but only for brief overnight stays in transit for work. This stay was with my wife and we stayed for 2 nights - quite disappointed. The memories and photographs online are a distant memory and reflected a resort that was clearly well maintained with relatively good food and rooms. The resort is in need of substantial maintenance and rework Tobit it to its previous standard, which having looked at many other better value resorts in the area, even with maintenance and repairs it will be we’ll be find other resorts in the area.

Basic room was terrible, upgraded to a superior room which was also basic The bed was as hard as a wooden board There was an unsecured unlocked window in the bathroom The tv didn't work and the hot water popped a fuse and went cold mid shower Restaurant was closed and had to eat elsewhere The place has a run-down neglected feel to it Stayed here 5 years ago and there have been zero upgrades since Booked two nights but left after one Fortunately they didn't argue about giving me a refund I DO NOT recommend this place unless you just got out of prison and don't mind compromise

Arrived in this place it is Faulty Towers on steroids. Check in room had no running water for 6 hours, I ordered 3 different drinks from waitress didn’t have In stock, staff didn’t care drink orders were lost when there was only 8 people in the venue on a Friday nite. . Also had 6 steak options on menu asked waitress only had 1 steak option. Ordered chicken snitzel crumbed was burnt. Also Towels & Sheets were filthy dirty. All the chairs around the bar were broken. Owner doesn’t care about customers. If he spent a few dollars on the joint it could be the best place in subic. Pool you couldn’t swim in it was totally green. My partner & I check out the next day. Only good thing about the place is the view.

The road to get to the location was pretty treacherous and arriving at the location was nothing short of disappointing. The photos on the website are deceiving and are probably from 2001 when it was built. There has obviously been no updates or upkeep based on the condition we found it in. We planned to be there 4 days and 3 nights. Needless to say, we arrived one day and left the next. The refrigerator was extremely old, rusted, and did not work, 2 of the 3 remotes had dead batteries, the AC unit was above the bed and couldn't control the temperature, the bath and bed linens are old and very worn. The narrow walkway to our room was constantly blocked by two elderly men and their two young female companions. This place does not deserve any stars. It is more appropriate for hourly rental!!!

I would not even let a dog stay in the room , I told the owner but didn't care . It said it was a scuba diving operation there and there was nothing and som people said it has not been there the last 20 years. I was warned about the food and they said don't eat there and I went to another place to eat . If you don't want to spoil your holidays then find some where else.

First we arrived in this place we have to pay entrance fee P 100.00 pesos each.When I booked this place on the internet looks amazing the front beach deluxe room looks nice .Well when we got there the front building looks so old disgusting even the reception old and the receptionist her face is miserable no smile straight away told us no food !no drink allowed in this premises because we got everything here ,no way I will order in this restaurant looks disgusting .Open our five bedrooms everything is old bedsheets is not clean mattress got stained on it ,I told the miserable receptionist I’m not happy with my front beach deluxe room is not what it’s said on the internet deluxe room the headboard is broken the nail is poking out and dusty the small fridge got rushed all over the bottom door the shower is rusty ,toilet bowl is brown on the bottom I wish I got the bleach to clean it for them I won’t even seat on it .So complaints to the receptionist that I’m not happy didn’t say anything just went to her computer and give me one key front beach deluxe room😟 the other four bedrooms they didn’t move us because there’s no room vacancy .Please don’t bother to book this place you will regretted it.
