Excellent friendly greeting at hotel reception. Room was warm and bed comfy Bathroom needs refurbishing. Breakfast was good, but pub needs upgrading. Carpets are very dirty …………………………………………………………………………. …………………………………………………………….

Had Groupon, we had burger and chips with onion rings, it was the best burger we had, kids loved it , I had the buttermilk chicken burger, it was the best, staff was really friendly, would go again , kids had cheese and bacon , hubby had spicy burgers, three of us had the buttermilk chicken burger

A pleasant surprise. The hotel looks like an American Motel, but the room has a massive comfy bed, a big TV and clean sheets and towels, all at a cost comparable with a Travelodge. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Place very nice nice food and very comfortable but I found lady on hotel reception very rood when we came in she was on phone never acknowledge us did not say hi or I will be with you soon so for that reason won't return thanks needs addressing thanks

Very comfortable Stopover. This is a basic fairly dated motel but we had a friendly welcome. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We didn’t dine here but breakfast started with a friendly welcome, good food selection with everything nicely cooked (hubby’s full English) as well as a good continental choice. I personally would have liked plain yogurt and muesli but I was very happy with what I had. Staff efficient and friendly and the chef knows how to poach an egg; bonus!

Lovely motel,plenty of parking and friendly receptionist.The room was a great size,really clean and looks freshly decorated.The bed was very comfortable but after that is when it went a bit downhill,the pillows were not comfortable at all,they were like rocks and the noise of what I can only assume was the heating system kept me up most of the night.I’ve never heard clanging of pipes like it.At least there was plenty of coffee for breakfast and lots of lovely food to choose from.

Arrived early due to flight unavailability, staff could not do enough to accommodate me, both in the pub and hotel. A great team from the cleaners to the bar staff. Would return just for them! Room recently refurbished, couldn’t fault it, clean comfy and everything you need. Food delicious…11 out of 10 all round.

We decided to find somewhere to stop overnight on our way up from Dorset to the Yorkshire Moors. At the time of booking we were told that they were going to do a full refurbishment of the bedrooms. We arrived late yesterday afternoon we were greeted by a very friendly person named Andrea and she was very helpful and explained9 everything to us. The rooms were very clean and tidy and was to the standard of Travelodge or a Premier Inn. The attached restaurant offer a good variety of food and the waitress Roxanne was very helpful. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in the Midlands to stop overnigh.

Our stay at Longshoot with my partner and several other friends was just lovely. We stopped for two nights in Sept 2022. We had been there before so were delighted to find it had a refurbishment. The rooms were comfortable and spacious having all the facilities we needed. The staff were excellent in serving all our needs both with the rooms and the restaurant/bar. Breakfast was very good indeed. Will definitely return there in the future. Well done.

I'll admit, I was dubious before getting to this booking. Having had no other options due to everywhere else nearby hiking up their prices for the commonwealth games, we opted for what I thought was going to be a very basic if not dodgy stay for £50 for one night... I was wrong! While the setting of the hotel is not the best, facing into a pub carpark and overlooking the back of the pub, every where was smartly painted and clean. The room was spacious, clean, fully equipped with everything you need for a short stay and nicely decorated. The staff we spoke to were all friendly and accommodating. We had a great night's sleep! The best part of our stay was definitely the breakfast... At £7.99 for an amazing full English with continental extras, and the tastiest bacon I have ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of bacon!) ... I can safely say this was the BEST breakfast I've ever had with an overnight stay! Well done. We will definitely use this accommodation again if we need a stop over in the Midlands. Thank you!

Had a lovely carvery today. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. One particular waitess stood out and that was Adriana, i think that was her name. I would like to pass on my sincere thanks for her second to none service. Well done to all members of staff for a lovely time.

A new refurbished room very comfortable and clean, the only thing was could do with set of draws as we stayed 10 days. Excellent breakfast, very tasty carvery plus restaurant great position for the rooms, the staff were lovely and went out their way to help with anything and everything.
