Honestly the only reason I’m staying in the night instead of changing hotel right away due to the poor soundproof system is because of the front desk staffs working there - great service attitude, helpful and hospitable!! I’d recommend the suite room type if checking into this hotel

Great hotel. I visit Ningbo very often. I stayed at this hotel several times. I try to book a room with a balcony. Cleaning every day, very friendly staff, there is breakfast, there is laundry and a small gym. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Not far from the hotel there is a central square where various shops and restaurants are located. Very close to the historical quarter in the colonial style. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room is small, location is excellent. 100 inch projection is amazing. It is like sleeping in a movie theater, we watched 3 movies for 6 hours. Definitely would stay here again.

The hotel is nice and room are spacious. The location is fine too. Breakfast is more Chinese stile oriented but there is a coffee machine and the coffee is fine. The only issue I had are bites all over my feet and legs by insects. I think it is due to the carpet floor both in the rooms and on each floor corridor.

It was a great experience to stay at Ningbo Grand Hotel with my family. The hotel provides children-specific facilities and services, such as a children's swimming pool and children's meals, which made the children very happy. The room space is large enough to easily accommodate the needs of the whole family. The hotel staff is particularly friendly to children and their service attitude is patient and meticulous. The breakfast is rich in variety and suitable for the tastes of all ages. The overall environment is safe and comfortable, very suitable for family travel, and I will choose here next time.

The hotel is very well positioned. I stayed there for work, so it remains close to the factories (15 minutes by car) and at the same time very close to the subway. It stays in a nice part of Ningbo city, right in front of the cultural plaza, with many places to go eating , shopping and go for a walk.
The rooms and the hotel are very clean and they had a good service. The only part is not very good is the laundry, that have only 1 dryer and 1 washer. They both appear to be a little bit older, but work perfectly. Sometimes they are being used, so you have to wait and be a little bit lucky not to have more people waiting.
All other parts were excellent and I will definitely come back in the future when I come to Ningbo

This hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas.
1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes.
2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale
3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days .
4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced .
5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby.
6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use .
7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes .
8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees.
9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion!
10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking .
For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those .
The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

This time I came here to accompany my friend to the hospital for a follow-up examination, but I booked the room, and then I chose this Yaduo because it was closer to the hospital. Everything was going well. My friend said that the results of the follow-up examination were also very good, and he was also very satisfied with the hotel. I went to the hospital for a day, and I rested comfortably for a night after I came back! Then I booked a car and planned to go to Putuo Mountain the next day! As a result, I got up in the morning and was ready to go. My friend said that she couldn't find her braces! Seeing that time was running out, I thought that they were in the room anyway, and I would look for them when I came back. (Later I found that I accidentally threw them into the trash can, I thought it was disposable). I went to play first. I came back to find it at night and asked my friend what he looked like. My friend showed me the photo. I was stupid. I remembered that I threw it into the trash can casually... Later I came back and found that the room lady had already cleaned our room for a follow-up stay! The trash can was empty. I immediately called the front desk to tell them about the situation. Later, the guy at the front desk said not to worry, he immediately contacted the big sister who cleaned our room, but at that time the garbage had been put into the garbage room... I told my friend. He said that it was custom-made, very expensive and it would take a long time to re-order. I was a little panicked, and called the guy at the front desk again to say that it was more important. The guy said that he would take the big sister to look for it in the garbage room. I felt a little sorry, and thought that there was strength in numbers, so I asked to go together. The guy at the front desk said it was a little dirty and asked us to wait. Later, I still felt that it was not possible. The waiting time was too long, so I went down to join them. After arriving at the garbage room, I saw the piles of garbage and felt a little desperate. I could only bite the bullet and look for it. After searching for a long time, I became a stinky kid. Fortunately, I was lucky, there were many people, and I found it after turning over a little bit! I am really grateful to the handsome guy at the front desk and the aunt in the room! I wanted to give some hard work money, but it was declined. This time, I found not only the braces but also saved myself. Thanks again to the guy and aunt! This Yaduo is really awesome

GGuest UserThis time I stayed at the Pan Pacific Ningbo Hotel, and I was really touched by their service! Especially Peter from the concierge department and Shuke, the head concierge, they were so considerate! 👍
We were originally planning to go shopping in the shopping mall, and as soon as we went downstairs, we found that Shuke had arranged a taxi for us, and the car was waiting at the door, so we didn't have to worry about it at all. This kind of detail really makes people feel very relieved, and the service is so good! 🚖
And Peter, who was particularly enthusiastic in introducing us to the food and fun places in Ningbo, where there are delicious seafood, where it is suitable to check in and take photos, and where it is convenient to take a taxi, he told us one by one, just like a local expert! 🦀📸 After listening to his recommendations, we went to several restaurants, and the taste was really great, and there was no thunder at all!
In addition, the hotel's breakfast also impressed me. It has a rich variety, combining Chinese and Western, especially the freshly cooked noodles and Ningbo specialty snacks, which taste very authentic and satisfying! 🍜🥟 And the dishes in the Madr99 restaurant are really unique! We ordered several signature dishes, each of which was exquisite and delicious, and we praised them again and again!
In short, this hotel experience is really perfect! Not only is the hotel environment good, it is full of artistic atmosphere everywhere, and the service is impeccable. GGuest UserNice resort for families with lots of activities for the little ones. Highlight was the service and all staff were friendly especially Mona who also spoke English well and shared her wechat and checked with us everyday to ensure our stay was pleasant. Bon fire and fireworks for Chinese new year were an added bonus. Mona also helped us book a BBQ tent which was a nice experience by the lake. The play area is large and could use a facelift as some areas seem dated. Buffet breakfast was nice with the usual fare and a nice touch to give the kids a small gift when they clean their plates. Although it’s winter, the temperature was quite warm and the room AC could only be used as a heater which made the room too warm so we turned off the AC and left the windows open. Car parking was mostly full during the holidays but we managed to get a slot to charge the electric car. Overall a pleasant stay.

GGuest UserBest Hotel we have visited in China within it’s cost to service ratio. You get real value for your money and this experience is therefore unmatched by any other hotel we have stayed at.
From arrival, you are welcomed at your car with a friendly portar that accompanies you to the reception desk with your luggage and after check-in to your room. Check-in was quick and easy with the friendly and efficient staff.
We had only told the hotel it is an anniversary stay. Our room was made-up with folded swan-towels on the bed and scattered balloons with rose petals.
You can go for a walk throughout the area all the way to the nearest swimming beach built on the lagoon (Ningbo Binhai Thousands of People Sand Beach) entry fee of 30RMB per adult on weekdays and 60RMB on weekends. About 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel has a bar where you can have cocktails and food professionally made with some of the best ingredients. Don’t get dissuaded by the price tag. (I would however say the service is extremely good but slow during the week at the bar. ) Be patient, relaxed and enjoy the bar. It is worthwhile and great value. Would highly recommend the Burger and Mojito.
The staff left us a complementary fruit and cake basket with a bottle of wine and some soup for a night snack.
You can visit the Chinese Fishing Village in Xiangshan. It cost about 646RMB to go there and back and the ride takes between 90 and 120 minutes. Entrance is 60RMB per adult. You can rent a tent and chairs at the beach for 100rmb for the first hour and 50rmb for each additional hour. I would highly recommend taking your own towels with some water bottles to wash your feet when leaving the beach. You can pay 25rmb per person at the facilities next to the beach to wash your feet or take a shower(the facilities are not good). There are slow Quad Bikes to ride on the beach and Jet Ski’s on the water. The quad bikes are about 100RMB for 15 minutes.
Room service can be sent to your room with the food kept warm in a small oven under the kart for your convenience.
When requesting some water or small items at night, the staff can sometimes send the items with a robot to your room.
The hotel has a swimming pool that you can use anytime within the schedule. We could use the swimming pool any time between 08:00 in the morning and 21:00 in the evening. You can request a towel at the pool reception desk on the swimming pool floor.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a break away from busy life. You can come here to relax with world class service at a valued price.

PPeggy PegSince last visit in Ningbo we used that hotel to stay overnight for our business trips. Our old hotel „Golden Port“ is now already closed for renovations maybe. We will see. The location is near barstreet where a Irish ☘️ Pub is located. A little bit hidden in the background. There we always have nice breakfasts and some dinner.

excellent: the food and beverage manager and restaurant staff were always friendly and the food was excellent (though I think the price of a beverages is outrageous). the Thai curry is highly recommended.
the pools and spa pools are great
the room is nice and the whole building is beautiful.
a birthday cake and card to celebrate was very special and thoughtful.
to improve:
the cocktails we're awful each time we tried a new one...the ingredients were listed but not all present in the drink
the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue
during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option.
I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel.
the play are for kids is nice and the staff are generally friendly and patient.
very mixed review I'm afraid.

SSUThe environment of the Park Hyatt Hotel is really beautiful. It is alone on the peninsula, and the building is magnificent. Although the room is a bit older, its flaws are not concealed. The service level is also always on line. In particular, Nancy helped me arrange a room with a view of the lake, took the initiative ➕ WeChat to understand the occupancy needs, and helped me book a New Year's Eve dinner at a Chinese restaurant after leaving the store. Thanks also to Joseph, the duty manager.
The only regret is that some hotel facilities such as the swimming pool are not open. Hope to stay again next time.

EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing. However great location, cross the river and you are in the mids of the city. Ernst , New Zealand
