Popular Ningbo 4-star Hotels

The hotel is in a good location, close to everything, and very clean. There is a large children's playground on the first floor. The parent-child room we booked has three 1.8-meter large beds, one of which has a door to separate them from each other. The room is large and well-equipped. There is a reading area and a play area on the 5th floor, as well as a separate washing machine and dryer. All the clothes were washed and dried on the same day, which was great. The bedding is very comfortable, the air conditioning is powerful, and the sleep is very quiet, which means that the sound insulation is good. There is a desk area for office work, a makeup mirror, slippers and toothbrushes for children, a slide swing chair, and an air purifier. The breakfast restaurant is antique and the variety is OK. I like the small wontons very much.

This hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas. 1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes. 2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale 3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days . 4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced . 5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby. 6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use . 7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes . 8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees. 9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion! 10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking . For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those . The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

Living experience of Guihua Garden 3203 Advantages: 1. The driver was very enthusiastic and sent us to the room and helped with the luggage 2. The breakfast tasted pretty good, the food was delivered on time, and the waiter had a good attitude. 3. The night view around the hotel is very beautiful, and the location is very good. 4. The bathroom in the room is very beautiful, the design is very beautiful, the photos are very good, and the lighting is also good. 5. After checking out, I found it difficult to call a taxi here. Today's front desk service attitude was good, and I informed the taxi driver's phone number 6. The housekeeper called and added WeChat in advance before checking in. Problems: 1. There were construction problems when entering the store, and the swimming pool was not available at all. The user was not informed in advance, which led to disappointment when we came in. 2. When I went to the lobby to apply for a card and asked about the full-time housekeeper information on the card, the front desk who booked the room didn't know anything and said that they didn't know. It felt that the staff training was not in place 3. After entering the room, I found that the screen window was not embedded well, and the toilet in the bathroom had insufficient suction. The staff said that they had reported it the day before check-in, but it was still not handled when we checked in. And all the cabinets and drawers in the whole room smell of formaldehyde. 4. When taking a shower, I found that the shower head was slightly damaged, and there was a whimpering sound during the shower. 5. The check-out was scheduled at 14:00 on Ctrip, but the front desk called at 12:00 noon to ask about the check-out situation, and said that they didn't know the reservation on Ctrip. It was less than 1 pm, about 12:50, and another staff member knocked on the door directly to ask when to check out, saying that the next guest was coming. 6. When checking in, I looked for slippers for a long time before I found them in the dressing room. 7. The doorman was not always at the door, and I had to carry a bunch of luggage to push the door when entering and leaving the lobby. 8. The welcome fruit was not sweet, very light (an apple, a pear, a mango, and a few small tomatoes) 9.❗️Note: All the lights in the room cannot be controlled at the bedside, and you have to press them one by one, which is really inconvenient when you want to go to bed. The housekeeper came to ask about the hotel experience at 8:30 in the evening, saying that it would be rectified on October 1st, but the problem is that I came in July. No one's money comes from the wind. I booked a luxury suite, but the hardware and service didn't match the price. I was looking forward to this hotel, but I was disappointed. Maybe the higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. In addition, Dongqian Lake is suitable for self-driving. If you don't have a car, it's a sinkhole. The whole scenic area is huge. It's a fantasy to walk in summer, and it's too hot to ride a bike. You can't get a taxi at all. There is a driver's phone number at the front desk, but it costs an extra 20 yuan to come. So when you come to Ningbo, it is recommended to visit several scenic spots in the city. Dongqian Lake is not a must-see. If you don't drive yourself, it's best not to try it easily.

Best hotel ever so far! Good services, very helpful staffs, doing beyond asked. Especially for the receptionist with short hair. Helped me to carry the luggage even though I didn’t asked, wait outside in the very hot weather with me.

Since last visit in Ningbo we used that hotel to stay overnight for our business trips. Our old hotel „Golden Port“ is now already closed for renovations maybe. We will see. The location is near barstreet where a Irish ☘️ Pub is located. A little bit hidden in the background. There we always have nice breakfasts and some dinner.

It is the best location of you want to be downtown in Ningbo. Very convenient to walk around and get metro.

Beautiful, beautiful hotel 😍it’s my second time booking this hotel and both my experiences have been amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful, Xiaohu was very kind and willing to attend to every question I had. I highly recommend this hotel. It is affordable and the rooms have mind blowing views!

A very pleasantly surprised hotel with a great environment and complete facilities. The rooms are also large, with smart controls and are very clean. The overall number of rooms is not too large, so it doesn't feel crowded even when full, and it's very quiet overall. There aren't many restaurants within walking distance, but there are Chinese and Western restaurants in the hotel, the prices are reasonable, and the food is good.

The Portman hotel was located conveniently near the subway and shops. (Each morning tried a different coffee shop and never ate at the same place). As a conner room, gave more windows for natural light. With good sound proofing, bearly heard any street or neighbour noise. Having an in room washing machines was a nice bonus. We when touring everyday. So, we didn't use any of the hotel's facilities, (pool, spa, restaurant, etc). Room was always spotless when we returned.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The price is very reasonable. Location was great! Close to shops and restaurants. Deliveries are brought by robot directly to your room which is very convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful.
