Honestly the only reason I’m staying in the night instead of changing hotel right away due to the poor soundproof system is because of the front desk staffs working there - great service attitude, helpful and hospitable!! I’d recommend the suite room type if checking into this hotel

Great hotel. I visit Ningbo very often. I stayed at this hotel several times. I try to book a room with a balcony. Cleaning every day, very friendly staff, there is breakfast, there is laundry and a small gym. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Not far from the hotel there is a central square where various shops and restaurants are located. Very close to the historical quarter in the colonial style. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel location is perfect, close to everything, the staff is welcoming, specially Zhou. Perfect hotel, the room was clean and spacious. We had a mold smell in the first room and they changed it immediately.

It was a great experience to stay at Ningbo Grand Hotel with my family. The hotel provides children-specific facilities and services, such as a children's swimming pool and children's meals, which made the children very happy. The room space is large enough to easily accommodate the needs of the whole family. The hotel staff is particularly friendly to children and their service attitude is patient and meticulous. The breakfast is rich in variety and suitable for the tastes of all ages. The overall environment is safe and comfortable, very suitable for family travel, and I will choose here next time.

This Yaduo made me feel the attentive service. This time I came here to accompany my friend to the hospital for a follow-up examination, but I booked the room, and then I chose this Yaduo because it was closer to the hospital. Everything was going well. My friend said that the results of the follow-up examination were also very good, and he was also very satisfied with the hotel. I went to the hospital for a day, and I rested comfortably for a night after I came back! Then I booked a car and planned to go to Putuo Mountain the next day! As a result, I got up in the morning and was ready to go. My friend said that she couldn't find her braces! Seeing that time was running out, I thought that they were in the room anyway, and I would look for them when I came back. (Later I found that I accidentally threw them into the trash can, I thought it was disposable). I went to play first. I came back to find it at night and asked my friend what he looked like. My friend showed me the photo. I was stupid. I remembered that I threw it into the trash can casually... Later I came back and found that the room lady had already cleaned our room for a follow-up stay! The trash can was empty. I immediately called the front desk to tell them about the situation. Later, the guy at the front desk said not to worry, he immediately contacted the big sister who cleaned our room, but at that time the garbage had been put into the garbage room... I told my friend. He said that it was custom-made, very expensive and it would take a long time to re-order. I was a little panicked, and called the guy at the front desk again to say that it was more important. The guy said that he would take the big sister to look for it in the garbage room. I felt a little sorry, and thought that there was strength in numbers, so I asked to go together. The guy at the front desk said it was a little dirty and asked us to wait. Later, I still felt that it was not possible. The waiting time was too long, so I went down to join them. After arriving at the garbage room, I saw the piles of garbage and felt a little desperate. I could only bite the bullet and look for it. After searching for a long time, I became a stinky kid. Fortunately, I was lucky, there were many people, and I found it after turning over a little bit! I am really grateful to the handsome guy at the front desk and the aunt in the room! I wanted to give some hard work money, but it was declined. This time, I found not only the braces but also saved myself. Thanks again to the guy and aunt! This Yaduo is really awesome

The lobby of this hotel is unique and interesting with steelwork design. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent and the staff were helpful. It is about 15-20 minutes walk to the metro station. Many food choices around the hotel and Wanda Plaza is nearby.

First of all, I'm not a shill. It's really convenient to stay here on a business trip. There are fruits for check-in, rich breakfast, late-night canteen, quiet room, comfortable bedding, strong bath water pressure, many restaurants around, convenient supermarkets, and I was lucky enough to encounter the intangible cultural heritage fire pot performance in Baolong Plaza, which was a pleasant surprise. The small disadvantage is that the toothbrush is hard. It would be better to change to a soft-bristled toothbrush after using this batch.

One of the most pleasant stays in my life! The hotel is clean and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The surroundings are nice and quiet, and the hot springs are just amazing. The receptionist couldn’t speak English very well when we checked in (which wasn’t too much of a problem anyway), but when we came back to our room later, we found some snacks and an absolutely adorable note with some helpful information from the staff. Thank you for the great weekend! Will definitely come again.

GGuest UserThis time I stayed at the Pan Pacific Ningbo Hotel, and I was really touched by their service! Especially Peter from the concierge department and Shuke, the head concierge, they were so considerate! 👍
We were originally planning to go shopping in the shopping mall, and as soon as we went downstairs, we found that Shuke had arranged a taxi for us, and the car was waiting at the door, so we didn't have to worry about it at all. This kind of detail really makes people feel very relieved, and the service is so good! 🚖
And Peter, who was particularly enthusiastic in introducing us to the food and fun places in Ningbo, where there are delicious seafood, where it is suitable to check in and take photos, and where it is convenient to take a taxi, he told us one by one, just like a local expert! 🦀📸 After listening to his recommendations, we went to several restaurants, and the taste was really great, and there was no thunder at all!
In addition, the hotel's breakfast also impressed me. It has a rich variety, combining Chinese and Western, especially the freshly cooked noodles and Ningbo specialty snacks, which taste very authentic and satisfying! 🍜🥟 And the dishes in the Madr99 restaurant are really unique! We ordered several signature dishes, each of which was exquisite and delicious, and we praised them again and again!
In short, this hotel experience is really perfect! Not only is the hotel environment good, it is full of artistic atmosphere everywhere, and the service is impeccable. GGuest UserNice resort for families with lots of activities for the little ones. Highlight was the service and all staff were friendly especially Mona who also spoke English well and shared her wechat and checked with us everyday to ensure our stay was pleasant. Bon fire and fireworks for Chinese new year were an added bonus. Mona also helped us book a BBQ tent which was a nice experience by the lake. The play area is large and could use a facelift as some areas seem dated. Buffet breakfast was nice with the usual fare and a nice touch to give the kids a small gift when they clean their plates. Although it’s winter, the temperature was quite warm and the room AC could only be used as a heater which made the room too warm so we turned off the AC and left the windows open. Car parking was mostly full during the holidays but we managed to get a slot to charge the electric car. Overall a pleasant stay.

GGuest UserBest Hotel we have visited in China within it’s cost to service ratio. You get real value for your money and this experience is therefore unmatched by any other hotel we have stayed at.
From arrival, you are welcomed at your car with a friendly portar that accompanies you to the reception desk with your luggage and after check-in to your room. Check-in was quick and easy with the friendly and efficient staff.
We had only told the hotel it is an anniversary stay. Our room was made-up with folded swan-towels on the bed and scattered balloons with rose petals.
You can go for a walk throughout the area all the way to the nearest swimming beach built on the lagoon (Ningbo Binhai Thousands of People Sand Beach) entry fee of 30RMB per adult on weekdays and 60RMB on weekends. About 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel has a bar where you can have cocktails and food professionally made with some of the best ingredients. Don’t get dissuaded by the price tag. (I would however say the service is extremely good but slow during the week at the bar. ) Be patient, relaxed and enjoy the bar. It is worthwhile and great value. Would highly recommend the Burger and Mojito.
The staff left us a complementary fruit and cake basket with a bottle of wine and some soup for a night snack.
You can visit the Chinese Fishing Village in Xiangshan. It cost about 646RMB to go there and back and the ride takes between 90 and 120 minutes. Entrance is 60RMB per adult. You can rent a tent and chairs at the beach for 100rmb for the first hour and 50rmb for each additional hour. I would highly recommend taking your own towels with some water bottles to wash your feet when leaving the beach. You can pay 25rmb per person at the facilities next to the beach to wash your feet or take a shower(the facilities are not good). There are slow Quad Bikes to ride on the beach and Jet Ski’s on the water. The quad bikes are about 100RMB for 15 minutes.
Room service can be sent to your room with the food kept warm in a small oven under the kart for your convenience.
When requesting some water or small items at night, the staff can sometimes send the items with a robot to your room.
The hotel has a swimming pool that you can use anytime within the schedule. We could use the swimming pool any time between 08:00 in the morning and 21:00 in the evening. You can request a towel at the pool reception desk on the swimming pool floor.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a break away from busy life. You can come here to relax with world class service at a valued price.

TTuzimujiService: The location is excellent, nothing to say, facing the sea! IHG has always had high standards for staff training and management. Basically, I have never encountered any problems, and those that have been encountered are quickly resolved. Because I bring children, I usually choose Crown, which is basically no big problem, and I can enter with my eyes closed. I would like to thank Chen for this Xiangshan Crown.
Hygiene: There is no four-piece set when I check in, which is considered as a default that I don’t use it. Since the platinum card was downgraded, I feel the ”difference”. It’s okay to assume that I am environmentally friendly, and the body oil is just this point when I enter the hotel. I use my own toiletries throughout the whole process, including children’s. This hotel actually gave me a small frog for washing and care. I have stayed in at least dozens of IHG hotels, but this is the first time I know that children use small frogs. It doesn’t work. The supplies are very complete, including children’s supplies. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Maybe the original platinum card is a little different from the current treatment, I don’t know 🤷♀️.
Facilities: The children’s play area is very small and old, and there is no care staff. Several broken machines, the claws for grabbing dolls are not easy to use, and two machines in a row are broken, which is very useless. The only thing that is not useless is the 68-person handicraft, which is free and needs to be booked one day in advance. The entire children's area is a failure. The outdoor swimming pool is not open at present, and most of the children are concentrated in the children's play area. There is nothing. The Zhixuan I went to in Wenchang has more children's video games than here. Is this money not earned sweet or something. There are so many empty areas, can't they be connected and made into good amusement facilities? What's wrong with making a children's park? Anyway, I didn't see a trampoline or an ocean ball, so I don't know where the ocean ball in the picture is.
Travel photography: There are styling and clothing. Feel free to shoot, there will be no sales. If you want to buy, buy it, if you don't buy, just take the free part. Thanks to Xiaolin this time.
I now find that Ctrip also has a lot of drainage posts, so I suggest that everyone read more gold diamond and black diamond reviews, which should be more realistic. After all, gold diamond drainage is probably not affordable.

PPeggy PegSince last visit in Ningbo we used that hotel to stay overnight for our business trips. Our old hotel „Golden Port“ is now already closed for renovations maybe. We will see. The location is near barstreet where a Irish ☘️ Pub is located. A little bit hidden in the background. There we always have nice breakfasts and some dinner.

excellent: the food and beverage manager and restaurant staff were always friendly and the food was excellent (though I think the price of a beverages is outrageous). the Thai curry is highly recommended.
the pools and spa pools are great
the room is nice and the whole building is beautiful.
a birthday cake and card to celebrate was very special and thoughtful.
to improve:
the cocktails we're awful each time we tried a new one...the ingredients were listed but not all present in the drink
the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue
during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option.
I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel.
the play are for kids is nice and the staff are generally friendly and patient.

GGuest UserTop in terms of location, facilities, staff friendliness and room standards. Zero stars for the quality of the dining experience, I'm afraid. Mediocre local dishes hopelessly overpriced and way below average by Ningbonese standards. Could have gone to Hanling village down the road or a bit further into Yinzhou for the same or similar dishes at a tenth of the price (and better quality). We felt it was quite an insult and if it hadn't been rather late and we hadn't been starving, we would have gotten up again and jumped in a Didi. My workplace canteen offers similar local dishes at less than 10 kuai/dish (ok, not a valid comparison, I must admit, but even the most expensive local restos don't charge more than 50 kuai either and provide bigger size portions and tastier). The portions were tiny and starters were priced on average at 100+ kuai while the mains, the size of starters, were on average 220+ kuai. Hardly reasonable for some seasonal veggies and 10 tiny rubbery beef cubes. The white wine hadn't been cooled (happens all the time but kinda unexpected if you pay 4,000 kuai a night for a resort in one of Ningbo's prime locations) and it was a cheap bottle priced at nearly 80 kuai a glass. Having stayed in a variety of luxury lakeside venues across Zhejiang over the years, we were pretty taken aback. For me it was the worst value for money food experience during my entire time in China. We loved our suite, the fitness facilities as well as the architecture of the entire resort though. The service was pretty professional and friendly even though hardly anyone speaks English which is surprising given that this place is regularly frequented by non-Chinese speakers from the local areas nearby (and we saw plenty of those for lunch). Also, in comparison to similar properties across Ningbo and Zhejiang, the breakfast was the worst also. Never mind the continental and English style brekkies (sometimes difficult to get right, we get that), even the Chinese dishes were mediocre (such as the soups, fried items etc) which was surprising. Should we return (we practically live down the road), we'll not spend a single penny on food in this place.

JJamieI booked the Seclusive Life resort for a 2 night weekend getaway while I am working in Zhejiang. It was a beautiful, relaxing experience. The mountains were so lush and green. The best part of the resort was the staff. Everyone was so helpful. I do not speak Chinese but we were able to communicate via WeChat very easily. The staff really went above and beyond to make my experience comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good. I ordered my meals a day in advance and the staff sent me a message when my food was prepared. I enjoyed the pool that is filled with cold mountain water. I did some hiking starting at the resort and really enjoyed the mountain scenery. Unfortunately the tub did not work in my room and there was a lot of mold in the shower but I think that is unavoidable in this humid climate. At the end of my stay the staff was about to help me arrange a driver to Xeudou Temple and Zhongcun Scenic area. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed, stress free getaway. One note, there are a lot of stairs (193 to my room) to get to the cabins so anyone with mobility issues will need to be sure to reserve a room they can reach. Again, ***** for the staff. Super.
