This Theta was renovated from an old hotel, probably formerly a Hilton. Many rooms are interconnecting rooms with poor sound insulation. Although the guest rooms have been renovated, there are suspicions of cutting corners. For example, there are traces of water seepage on the walls of the guest rooms. You can refer to the photos in other reviews, which are similar to the situation in our room. The hotel is only on the 15th floor, so even if you stay on the upper floors, you won't be able to see much of the city view. The only advantage is the convenient location. In addition, the hotel charges a surcharge of $40 per night on top of the room price. Other hotels I have stayed at that charge this kind of fee usually give me a credit of $20-30/night for in-hotel dining, but this hotel only gives me $20. The laundry allowance per night is rather tasteless.

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are very spacious. Everything is super clean and the highlight is the location. I usually don’t write reviews but this time I have to because I’m so glad I stayed at this hotel. I could easily walk everywhere but it was still calm around so it was truly amazing. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! The rooms have very big windows and you have a super beautiful view of the Empire State Building from the room, even though I did not book a specific room. Overall super happy! The staff was very friendly too and many things are complimentary such as wine hour and tea in the mornings!
