I stayed here for two nights, the first night with my friend who is a native New Yorker and the second night alone. I booked the room based on the pictures on trip.com, however, when I arrived at the hotel, the staff told me that the pictures were for a suite, not the room that I had actually booked. They were very dismissive and told me to contact Trip as it wasn’t their fault. The girl who checked me in was a little rude and unhelpful. Having said that, the room was very nice… decorated nicely and very clean. The only thing I would’ve wanted is to be provided with water in the room. The hotel lobby has a water dispenser with very cold iced water. However, if you wake up in the middle of the night and are thirsty there is no water in the room. The location is excellent! Walking distance to Grand Central Station, New York library and Times Square.

When we first checked in, The location of the hotel was awesome, and the room was actually very nice. That was until I got back to my hotel room after a night out with friends, and my room was FLOODED, and my clothes/luggage was drenched with toilet water because there was a toilet leak. I immediately called the front desk, and the maintenance guy came in at 4:30AM, to clean up the water. We asked if we could switch rooms because some of the water got on our bed, he said he'd ask management and we never heard anything back. We decided to shrug it off because we were so tired with jetlag and basically being half awake. We had to put all of our wet clothes in one luggage and all our dry clothes in another. We asked the front desk if we could get any compensation or a partial refund and they said the best they can do is hold our luggages and give us an xtra 45 minutes for late checkout.

Very poor amenities and so small rooms

Loved the Draper Hotel! Recently stayed in a king bed room and would definitely stay again. The room was impeccably clean, the bathroom beautiful and spotless! Great location and super helpful friendly staff. Great value for the room type and superb location. Very close to public transport such as subway and bus however as you can walk everywhere you won't need them much. Quiet street so good for sleeping yet close to all the hustle and bustle such as theatres and great NY stores near by.

I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect this hotel was. Good size bathroom, super comfy bed, very clean! Also a great location! Will definitely be back!!

Strategically located and good quality room facilities...

Lovely small room w thin walls but amazingly clean with great flare /design/optimization of tight quarters .. fifth ave two doors down … ie perfect herald sq shopping vicinity plus grest restaurants /bars … a 3 day wonderful trip w a speedy check in /out process…. The Draper…. Wonderful for those exploring the city and wishing to avoid the safety concerns of times sq!

Small room but renovated , modern and super clean

Room was very small. Stained unused towels in the bathroom, had to request for new ones. Felt like room was not cleaned very well. Front desk and lady from the coffee shop in the lobby were very pleasant and accommodating. Great location. Hotel is close to Korean town, Bryant park, Rockefeller center.

The location of the hotel was very nice, although the rooms are a bit small, we could live very comfortably for 2 people. I would recommend it to everyone

Absolutely 5/5 for this hotel. There was some very light noise from the aircon in our initial room, but I m a light sleeper so the receptionist helped us changed to a new room which was absolute quiet. The hotel is very new and the bed is huge. Particularly love the location. Highly recommended.
