As soon as we entered the room, it was estimated to be only 15 degrees Celsius. Later I found out why. The normal temperature was very humid. It's close to the airport, but the surrounding environment is bad and the price is high!
The room that costs 300 yuan in China is only 2700 yuan in Manhattan, New York. Don't think it's expensive. It's fully booked. The exterior wall is being renovated. You can't even see the sign. The lobby is very small. The receptionists are expressionless and calm, unlike the enthusiastic ones in China. The breakfast room is also on the first floor. It's very cramped when there are many people. The food is just ordinary American food, mainly high in sugar, oil and calories. The room is very small, the bathroom is small, the washbasin is small, everything is small, it's difficult for two people to open the suitcase, but the hygiene is good. Because it is located in Midtown, it is convenient to walk from the city to the upper city, and it takes 10 minutes to walk to the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier Museum. It takes 46 dollars to take a taxi to the Stanten Island Ferry Terminal in the lower city to see the Statue of Liberty. There are no restaurants around. It takes 15 minutes to walk to some small shops. It's just like that in the United States. One more thing to add: It costs nearly 100 dollars to take a taxi from JFKT8 to the hotel, and Ctrip pick-up is less than 500, and there is a free one-hour waiting time (including the landing of the plane). If everything goes well, it's almost enough time to go through customs.

One of the mattresses in the room collapsed. I wanted to change rooms but found that the mattress in another room also had problems. I was not allowed to change it again and was told to repair it. After the maintenance, I was asked to wait in the room, but no one came to repair it after waiting for an entire afternoon. So what? I slept like this on a sagging mattress for four nights. The only thing is that the hygiene is cleaned in time. I didn't take a photo of the room, but the rest was unremarkable.

PROs:
1. Free breakfast is convenient and decent; Be sure to go earlier because it can get busy
2. A few minutes away from train stations
3. Fairly priced for a hotel in NY
CONs:
1. It’s just rooms and a breakfast hall. The hotel is cramped and there are only around 3-4 rooms per floor.
2. The room is quite small as well. Not much storage to properly put iron, coffee machine, and safe. Good for solo travellers. Can be challenging for couples or business travellers because of personal space.
3. No gym or whatsoever. Walk around the area or visit a park for your exercise routine.
Nice location, you can walk in the heart of NYC and be at the hotel in a couple minutes. The breakfast really surprises me, I wasn’t expecting the amount of food and the selection we had. The room I got had a weird smell and the for really hard to open with the card. But everything else with es really good
Staff was wonderful, breakfast was nice also! Parking fills up fast at night. About 20-30 mins from most of the things we had planned, so it was nice to have the highway close by. Nice calming room! Would stay again.

Hotel experience: In terms of hotel experience, users are generally satisfied with the cleanliness, comfort and novelty of the hotel facilities. For example, one user mentioned that the hotel facilities are new, the service staff has a good attitude, and the price-performance ratio is high4. Another user described in detail the decoration style of the hotel lobby and rooms, which is a bit old, but the service details and facilities are well maintained5.

GGuest UserThe hotel is OK.
Business trips are tiring, but the subway did not affect my sleep. The surrounding area does not feel safe: more than 90% of the people are black. I was a little scared when I first arrived. The cash registers of several stores around are separated, which makes me feel even more unsafe (or maybe I am overthinking). The subway is super convenient. You can transfer to 1/2/3 from Line J to Line Z to get to major attractions. There is a water dispenser and ice machine on each floor. But I didn't drink it because I was afraid it was not clean. I bought bottled water instead.
