### Marriott beats Hilton!
I can't believe that Marriott and Hilton are only 165 feet (about 0.03 miles) apart, but the experience is so different. Marriott provided free bottled water at check-in, while Hilton charged $8 per bottle. Hilton's elevators were all out of service due to the so-called ”flood”, while Marriott, which is only separated by a wall, was running normally and in an orderly manner. From the moment I stepped into the door, Marriott's smiling service made people feel warm. When the staff asked if I needed help with my luggage, I hesitated for a moment - because my luggage had been delayed in Hilton due to elevator failure. Last time I attended a meeting, I had a tight schedule and had to choose Hilton with a great location. As a result, I spent 17 minutes waiting for the elevator! For business travelers, don't choose Hilton. Whether in Hunan, China or Manhattan, New York, my stay experience was extremely disappointing. The room soundproofing was very poor, and it was almost impossible to sleep! To be honest, if Marriott can completely crush Hilton in such a first-tier city and developed country, it already says it all. Not to mention the refund issue - Hilton's three-night room rate is as high as five figures, and I booked a room with a balcony. As a result, because of their so-called ”flood”, I still haven't refunded it! If I hadn't walked into Marriott with my luggage today, I couldn't believe what I experienced at Hilton.
### Marriott Completely Wins Over Hilton!
I can't believe the stark contrast between Marriott and the Hilton just 165 feet (0.03 miles) away. At check-in, Marriott provided complimentary bottled water, while Hilton charged $8 USD per bottle. The elevators at Hilton were out of service due to alleged ”flooding,” yet somehow, despite being just one wall apart, everything at Marriott was running perfectly. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles. When asked if I needed assistance with my luggage, I hesitated for a moment—because at Hilton, my luggage was stuck downstairs for ages due to the elevator delays. Last time I stayed at Hilton for a conference, I had an urgent schedule, yet I waited 17 minutes just for an elevator. Especially for business travelers, never choose Hilton. My experience has been consistently disappointing—whether in Hunan, China, or Manhattan, New York. The soundproofing is terrible! Honestly, if a Marriott can outshine Hilton in a first-tier city of a first-world country, that speaks volumes. And let's talk about refunds—three nights at Hilton cost me five figures, and I booked a room with a balcony. Yet, due to their so-called ”flooding,” I still haven't received my refund. If I hadn't personally walked into Marriott today, I wouldn't have believed the difference between these two hotels.
Facilities: Very satisfied. Second time staying here. Free hot water and coffee. Very friendly.
Hygiene: Very clean. The elevator is very fast. The weather is also very good.
Environment: Very good. Highly recommended.
Service: 100% praise. You can also check in early.

The location was perfect for a first visit to New York. Times Square, Fifth Avenue, Central Park were all right out the front door. The best thing about this hotel was the staff, particularly at the front desk, who just went above and beyond with kindness and service. This was a great value and experience. Thank you!

Overall it's ok, but I don't know why room cleaning needs to be booked one day in advance. Otherwise, there will be no room cleaning service. The room space is relatively small. Overall, it's pretty good. It's recommended.

Nice service, nice room, while I came earlier to the hotel and through the long time traveling from my country, the manager help to arrange and gave me the room earlier to get rest. Very warm service!

On the first night in New York, we specially chose a hotel near the financial center. There were road constructions nearby, so parking was a big problem. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and gave us a room on a high floor with a good night view. The room was also clean and tidy. After checking in, we tried hard to find a parking garage nearby. After driving around for several times, we safely handed the car over to an underground garage and decided not to drive in the city - this was the first thing we were not satisfied with when we arrived in New York~

Parking fee is $40. The guy said we can park on the surrounding roads, but after looking at the environment, I didn't dare.
A standard airport hotel, stay overnight to catch a flight.
The front desk was not very enthusiastic, but they were polite and patient when asked.
I don't know why the WiFi could not pop up the login window, and all devices encountered this problem. In the end, it was the official customer service, not the hotel staff, who solved it remotely by phone.

The location is great, right outside of subway. It’s aged hotel as the room wallpaper has some tears. It’s enough for 2 persons in my view. Good for people don’t have high expectations and looking for convenience. It’s very safe, door locks, door latch is available in every single room. You need to use keycard to take guest lift.
Stayed in this hotel for a week because it is close to NYU. During the stay, the room was not cleaned in time because I extended my stay. The gym is on the basement floor, there is no signal, and the air conditioning is not turned on. After reporting it to the hotel staff, they did not deal with it. The service of the whole hotel is average and not very enthusiastic. In the morning, it is not a buffet, but a fixed menu. The taste and service are quite good, but it is a bit monotonous if you eat the same thing for 7 or 8 days in a row. The room rate is about 2,000, which is not cheap. The advantage is that the lobby provides free coffee and tea to take away in the morning, which is quite convenient.

The room is very small, and the air conditioner is a window unit, which makes a loud sound when it is turned on. The advantage is that you can choose whether it is hot or cold. The hotel has 21 floors, with ten rooms on each floor and two elevators. But often only one elevator is operating. After waiting many times when checking out, the two of us still went out in separate steps. If you have a big suitcase, unfriendly foreigners will directly refuse to let you into the elevator. The hotel is located on a side road, which is more convenient than the hotel on the main street of Fifth Avenue. There are many places to eat or stroll around. It is recommended to save the location so that it is not easy to find. If you just search for the name of the hotel, many with the same name and different addresses will pop up. The requirements are not high, this hotel can be considered

GGuest UserThis is a very good location, although the surrounding environment is a little chaotic, but whether it is by subway or bus are within 5 minutes of walking, the front desk staff is very enthusiastic, the facilities and conditions in the room are higher than expected, especially walking Hmart Asian supermarket in 7 minutes, not far from Koreatown, can save the stomach of our Asians
WWenzhang77It is very convenient to transfer from New York airport to China. The hotel room is very spacious, the bed is also big, and the transportation is convenient, but the surrounding living facilities are far away, so it is more convenient to drive
