New Taipei City Xizhi District Hotels

Great experience throughout! It was drizzling when we arrived but the staff still rushed out and helped us with our luggage (really didn’t have to do so) but it shows their commitment to service. They also have a huge comfortable lobby and plenty of notices on shuttle bus timings. One time login wifi was awesome, connection was hassle free and fast. Room was comfortable and spacious. Will recommend to others! Note: Take their shuttle bus to the near MRT station (Nangang), from the hotel it takes about 35min to reach XiMenDing via shuttle+Public Transport (while it’s 25min by car assuming a no-jam scenario)

Hotel location is excellent however the receptionists require more training in handling check in customers. Disgraceful to mentioned that one lady with short hair (hotel manager I guessed) totally ignoring check in customers at main entrance. No bell boy at all except her standing there ignoring all walk in customers with hand carry luggages. She don’t even bother to open the door or offering any assistance to customers. This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and unprofessional to work in hotel line. The breakfasts are acceptable and staffs were good in cleaning up tables. Hotel conditions are average and well maintained. Room was acceptable and nothing great to mention. Customer service is the key to improve in this hotel rather than being ignorant! A supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard. The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth. The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters. Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

Everything is awesome, big rooms, friendly staff and convenient location!! Just that if you are travelling by car / uber / private hire, then not so, as the jams during peak hour are really bad, a 5mins distance might take up to 30 minutes.. but if by public transport, diagonally there is a bus terminal + metro station + train & high speed rail station!! There is also a microwave but is only for use during the restaurant opening hours, about 6am? To about 10pm? Or so.. the pool above is also very clean, but there is no direct lift to it.. there is also a welcome drink (soft drinks) on the first check in, everyday there are 2 bottles of free pet bottle water

The location was very convenient for my business meetings. The big mall closeby had many good restaurants. However, there was some insect in my room, and the A/C in the bar and in the breakfast area was extremely cold, so I was afraid I would get a cold. Service was very good however, we got help in arranging a car and the information about the insect issue was followed up on.

There is no breakfast for this price. You can eat and drink nearby. It is suitable for those who don't mind poor sound insulation and loud air conditioning. Hygiene is pretty good, but the bath towels smell a bit like bleach.

This second stay, the front desk service is good, this time is staying in an environmentally friendly room, clean and standard, if you return to Taiwan, you will order again

The hotel room is clean and comfortable, the quilt is thick enough, and the bed is hard The water temperature and pressure in the bathroom are fine, and breakfast will be delivered to the door. Very close to the MRT, the price is reasonable, and the overall experience is good

The room is a bit old, the shower water flow is very weak, the air conditioner will get cold if it is turned on for a long time, the sound insulation is also poor, and the bed is very hard. Fortunately, the staff is very polite, and the price would be better if it were cheaper.
