New Taipei City Homestays

The owner was very nice and the house was very clean. It was raining that day and our shoes got soaked, so he even used a shoe dryer to dry them for us.

Room had smoking smell and 9th floor had a great view of the lake but the room could be cleaner. Maybe fresh paint won’t hurt and clean the moldy area in bathroom, change light bulb would be nice, missing one in bathroom, elevator was out of service so had to carry luggage to first floor. Our 5th fl room two days ago was so much newer and cleaner. Not sure what happened. Shame!

I recently stayed and had an exceptional experience. The hotel's location is ideal, situated in the heart of Jiufen, making it convenient to explore popular attractions, etc. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, and they provided excellent recommendations for local activities. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with modern decor and a relaxing ambiance. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and high-speed internet. Overall, my stay is exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here and looking for a blend of convenience, comfort, and excellent service.

The environment is very good and the room is beautiful, but the toilet is open and has no door. If you want to poop, the whole room will smell. If you are not a single person, everyone will have to endure the smell. The sound insulation is very poor. Although everyone is already treading lightly, there is the dining area at the door of the room. The sound of boiling water for washing hands early in the morning, the sound of taking cups, plates and forks, and the sound of opening the refrigerator... It is far away from Jiufen Old Street. It's far away. It takes 5 minutes to drive. It's not recommended to walk at night. It takes about 20 minutes to walk. It's mainly too remote and there aren't many cars passing by during the day. But the environment and rooms are really beautiful and it's very suitable for checking in.

Not the easiest to locate. Check in is done such that you have to WhatsApp the owners/staff before they come by to meet you. There is no counter. However they respond promptly and quickly come to pick up your luggages and bring you to the room. They are very friendly too. Unit is two stories, beautiful view from the upstairs room. Can use downstairs area to store luggages and upstairs has limited space.

The stay was excellent! Absolutely loved it! It was very near the main jiu fen street (just about a 3min walk) and the staff members were all super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and neat. The common areas are so beautifully decorated and there's plenty of space. I love how they prioritised this and not just turn everything into bedrooms. Very thoughtful of them. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. You get porridge with a variety of dishes to go along with. They also have bread with butter/jam available. The stay is located on top a flight of stairs. Our group traveled as a family with 2 senior citizens and the flight of stairs were a little tiring for them. Do take note if you're taveling with those who are older or have difficulties walking. It isn't too bad, but can definitely be tricky for some. Overall, we had an absolutely lovely stay. This place is one of the prettiest out of the rest we scouted for jiu fen as well. It's a good pick and I would stay here again if I were to come back to jiu fen. Hope you find this helpful! Cheers!

The location and location are a little difficult to find, but the MRT station really does not take five minutes, the overall is not too bad, although the sound insulation needs to be strengthened, but the cp value is very high!

Very beautiful and comfortable accommodation with spectacular sea and mountain view of JiuFen for both sunrise and sunset. Also, super conveniently located less than 5 minutes walk to JiuFen Old Street and 1 minute walk from bus station for transfer to both Taipei and Ruifang. Host of the accommodation is very kind to provide recommendations and also offered us complementary cold beverages in this hot summer. Recommend this accommodation to everyone who like to have a worry free and enjoyable visit to JiuFen. 👍

The B&B is in a great location, very close to Jiufen Old Street, and provides free pick-up service from the B&B to Jiufen Old Street. It is also very close to the Golden Waterfall and the Gold Museum, within 5-10 minutes by car, and free tickets to the Gold Museum are provided. Because the B&B is on the mountain, the scenery is very beautiful. The owner and the lady boss of the B&B are very enthusiastic, and the breakfast is good. The room is very clean and hygienic.

The location is easy to find, right in the old city. Check in on the 3rd floor of the building. The stairs are a little steep. Not suitable for people with large suitcases. The room is spacious, has air conditioning, a hair dryer, and a very large fan. But the room is not soundproof, you can hear the sound of the next room all the time.
