I am very satisfied with the bathtub in the room, but the soundproofing facilities and materials are really lacking❌. Even the fireproof materials should be considered for commercial hotel use. Whether the guests are in the corridor, in the tea room, talking on the bed, or blowing their hair, they can hear the sound very clearly. In addition, the hotel's business items include charging guests for 3 hours of rest. It is obvious who would rest for 3 hours? Especially in the early hours of the morning, everything is clear, which is very unfair to the guests staying here, and it also makes the hotel lack of standards. Since there is such a service, should the soundproofing equipment be better? In this way, they want to make money from everything, but there is no quality. Please think about it, boss. It is especially recommended that those with children should not stay here❌

JJunecheyThe host is very nice!!! She help guiding us to aqesome spots and also help take care of our luggage. Anyway still suggest to carry light as uber cannot access almost narrow roads around Jiufen. The view from the room is perfect!! You can see both mountains and sea from upstairs room. The room is cozy with 2 queen beds/1 booking room. 1 booking room = half of the house ＞＞ 1 room downstairs and 1 upstairs but limited 2 person/ 1 booking room) so if you come are a group of 4 people you can book 2 rooms (whole house). The bnb is not fits with people with knee issue as you will have to walk down the stairs to reach bnb but it has access to old street not far but up. I still think its a great place to stay. Breackfast comes with package (sandwich, omelette, and veggies). You can discuss with host for check in and can leave bag after check out. Overall love the place its nice and clean and you can chill in the room until check out time 12.00

The owners are very kind and were very helpful giving us many information of things to do nearby. From the first time they texted us to know our arrival time to meet us where the bus dropped us. I would really like to recommend this place. Everyone that stay the night in Jiufen must stay in this place. Thank you very much guys for your hospitality.

Taiwan’s hospitality market has long been weighed down by a disappointing reality: too many hotels operate with dated facilities, minimal upkeep, and inflated prices that fail to justify the value—especially when compared to the far more competitive markets in pan-Asia. Guests often encounter properties that feel tired, overpriced, and out of touch with international expectations. Not so with Two Tails. Recently rebranded and remodeled, it breaks away from the stagnation, offering a modern, well-maintained environment that finally matches the promise of Taiwan’s tourism potential.
Rooms are well-kept, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable for both short and longer stays. While amenities are not over-the-top luxury, they are practical, clean, and perfectly sufficient.

LLauren Y.Location of our villa is just at the beach. Openn the door and we are at the beach! Only has private hot spring tub in the villa. Comes with games room, arcade, public hot spring pool, table tennis etc. Only dissatisfaction is the smoke smell left in the room from previous occupants.
Wish they priorise Toiletries or at least hand soap.

EES03Very strategic location just beside MRT DingXi station, with nearby 10 minutes walking distance to a large night market, namely LeHua Night Market. There's also 7-11, Family Mart, and McDonald just beside the hostel.
The room is clean, and each bed/person has its own locker in the room.
The toilet is clean, and they have separated the wet and dry area for the convenience of changing clothes in the dry area.
There's also shampoo, liquid bath, and hairdryer provided, while towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers can be purchased separately.
The breakfast is included as well for each morning with 5 options available to choose from.
They do provide luggage storage services after check out, so you won't need to drag your luggage around.
Overall, it is a great experience, and would come back again next time.

RRanie Seahlocation of the hotel was great! walking distance to MRT station. they've disconnected all the jacuzzis but the steam room is still operational and the jacuzzi tub can still be used as an extra large bath tub, which is more than enough space for a young child + grown adult. best hack is to buy bath bombs from the 7-11 just opposite the hotel to use in the bath tub. room is super clean and well maintained. the laundry room is free for use. there's good supper options available: Ba Fang Yun Ji Dumpling(highly recommend the dumplings), and 好食雞雞肉飯(chicken rice is cheap and good)

The location is perfect — close to MRT, restaurants, and shops. Everything felt easy and comfortable from check-in to check-out. It’s definitely one of the best value hotels in New Taipei. GGuest UserLocation is outstanding, very close to 7-11, however as many many other people have notes it's hard to find. The address given (number 28) is wrong. As you go up the street, the last houses are numbered 19-24 and then there's nothing but 300m of shrines. I know, I walked past them 3 times making sure I hadn't missed 28. The actual hotel is number 5-2. If you use that, Google maps finds it, what a surprise. Actually there is a 28 halfway down at the bottom, but it's a house not a hotel. Anyway, the receptionist blamed Google maps for getting me to the wrong place and when I pointed out the address on the booking information was wrong, she just shrugged and said that's a problem for management.
Next, you have to change into slippers at the entrance. They were too small so only my toes fit in, and carrying my suitcase up 2 flights of stairs in ill-fitting slippers is a safety hazard. Even worse when leaving. The guy watched me struggle the whole time too.
The room itself was weird. It's a strange Japanese style with a raised floor and then no bedframe, just a mattress. There was quite a bit of wasted space in the room and the bathroom was a wet room instead of separate shower and toilet, just like you get in the tiny cramped hotel rooms. So for an hour or two after having a shower, going to the toilet means you get wet feet or wear the slippers and get the room floor wet. When there's space wasted in the room, that could have been used to make a shower too, this is stupid.
The place was clean, although there were renovations being done in the common room where you change into slippers most of the days.
No water etc provided, but there were a few snacks left in the kitchen, and there was a hot water dispenser in the kitchen too. This was really useful as there's nowhere close to eat after 7pm, so you have to buy instant noodles from 7-11.
Room was quiet and curtains were good, so easy to sleep well. No light switch within reach of the bed though, so you have to get to the bed in complete darkness.
