On the mountain, there are no lights on the mountain road at night. Please pay attention to safety when driving. There is a big bathhouse, which is good. On the day of check-in, I was surprised to have fireworks. I watched the fireworks at the memorial platform at a very close distance. It was awesome, but I didn’t know it beforehand. ,Ha ha.

The room was spacious, but unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work. It was hot, so I opened the window, but there was no screen, so bugs came in. The bath was divided into several sections, but the water was so hot that I got overheated quickly. The staff was nice, but the breakfast was very different from the photo. Maybe it was because I went during peak hours, but the rice cooker and miso soup were left empty. The inspection process was not thorough. There was no fruit. There was no mayonnaise. It said that there was bowling and table tennis, but it was only for group reservations, and the information was only available after arriving at the hotel. After all, I chose the hotel based on the information, but since it's a hotel in the mountains, I couldn't go anywhere. I couldn't do the things I was looking forward to. It's a shame. I wish they would post the information properly in advance.

It was my first family trip in a long time, but I'm glad we were able to relax.

The hotel is located on a mountain with beautiful scenery. It has a swimming pool but I don’t have enough time. There is a hot spring. It is more convenient to take a car. The waiter only spoke Japanese when checking in, but he was very polite. Most of the guests in the hotel are Japanese and have a large family. The breakfast is rich Delicious!

Most of the old mountain hotels are for tour groups and the food is pretty good. The facilities are old, especially the quilts are very uncomfortable. The scenery outside the window is pretty good. The price of 500 yuan is also reasonable.

This is the Sekia I use often. As always, the hot springs are good, and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is also delicious and luxurious.

Comfortable environment, clean rooms, far from the city

This time it was a room without meals, but next time I would like to enjoy it with a meal plan. When I opened the key, it was hard to open, so I asked other guests to help me. Onsen was very good!

Older hotel, no air conditioning, many tour groups.

It was convenient because it was close to the highway IC and close to the amusement park Greenland. Children were delighted to be able to use the hotel pool for free during the summer vacation. The hot springs were comfortable with indoor baths, open-air baths, waterfall baths, and saunas. The breakfast buffet had a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and I was able to enjoy my meal. Chikuzenni was especially delicious for me. Speaking of luxury, it was a trip, so I thought it would be even better if there was a local menu of Kumamoto. The facility feels old, but it was clean and had a good feeling. The room was also spacious. You can see the vast nature from the large window of the room, and it was quite a superb view.

급하게 예약한 호텔이었는데 잘 쉬다갑니다. 개인 차량이 없으면 확실히 불편하기는 한데 하루에 3번씩 셔틀버스를 운영해서 그나마 잘 다닐 수 있었습니다. 기사님도 친절하세요. 방도 넓고 쾌적해서 좋았고, 온천도 좋았어요. 원래 아침을 잘 안먹는 편인데도 조식이 맛있어서 이틀 내내 배부르게 먹었습니다 ㅎㅎ 체크아웃이 오전 10인데 셔틀버스가 11시라 걱정했었는데 로비 기념품점도 넓고 구경할게 많아서 1시간 금방 가더라구요!

I went before the coronavirus. It's off because I couldn't choose when I visited. Summer is hot no matter where you go, so you'll want to escape the heat as much as possible at a hotel with a pool. If you want to relax and play in the pool, I would like to enjoy it for several nights if possible. I'm looking at travel sites because I want to go this year, but the prices are much higher than before the coronavirus, so I'm not sure what to do. Many hotels and inns have gone up in price since before the coronavirus, but Hotel Sekia's price increase has been so large that it feels like it's a bit out of our household budget.

I stayed here the night before participating in the Sekisho Health Marathon in Minamikan Town, Kumamoto Prefecture. The room was a set of a Western-style room and a Japanese-style room, so I could sleep in a bed and relax in the Japanese-style room with tatami mats, which was nice. There was also a fireworks display at 8pm when I stayed, and I was able to see it right in front of me, so it was very impressive. The mountain view from the room was also nice. The front desk and the souvenir shop were on the second floor, and they had a wide selection of Kumamoto souvenirs. The large public bath on the first floor was spacious and I was able to take a comfortable bath. The bowling alley that was originally attached to the hotel seems to be closed now. The hotel staff were very helpful, and I had a comfortable stay.
