Our stay at this hotel was beyond expextation! The rooms are very very elegantly decorated and conveniently come with smart facilities (I especially enjoyed the lighting system and the super cool dryer-washer). What I admire most about this place is the generousity of the staffs - the one who rushed to the kitchen to get me some salt for my sore throat and one girl who kindly offered to go collect an order that I accidently booked with the wrong address. Hotels should really invest in good people like that and this is the exact reason why I will trust to come back to this place next time in Nanjing!

Although the hotel itself is nice, the "B&B" (bed&breakfast) in the name is an exaggeration. Unless you consider a niche in the lobby where a coffee machine stands as breakfast. Other than that was the stay as advertised.

The reason for booking this hotel is that their overall decoration style in Nanjing is a bit biased towards the Republic of China style, so we booked their comfortable standard room. As my family is old and don't want to face the street, the hotel manager helped to upgrade it to a slightly larger family room for free. Because we were too full after eating out at night, we didn't have enough stomach to eat the cheese and tofu pudding given on the first day. When the manager found out on the second day, he gave us two more bowls. The hotel staff had a very good attitude, the indoor environment was very clean, and when we checked out, they gave us a bag of souvenirs so that we could enjoy them when we were hungry during the journey. It was very thoughtful. In short, the experience of booking this hotel was very good, and I recommend it!

When I left, I brought two boxes of Huangqiao sesame cakes for my classmates; I ate the sesame oil vegetarian dried shredded dried shrimps and duck oil vegetarian sesame cakes in Qifang Pavilion. They were really well made. The red bean dumplings in Qifang Pavilion were even more delicious. I took a night cruise on the Qinhuai River, but I personally prefer the Qinhuai River in the morning, which is quiet and gentle. I rode to Dabaoen Temple. I set off at 4 o'clock and climbed to the top of the tower. You can't climb to the top after 5:30. The temple is beautiful. Many ladies took photos. The lights were turned on at 7:10 and closed at 7:30. After closing, I walked to Laomendong. The Pioneer Bookstore is worth recommending! When I left, they gave me biscuits and milk. I just ate them on the high-speed train. It was thoughtful!

The service is very good, the fruit snacks are good, and the water can be refilled if it is not enough. I stayed for four consecutive days and enjoyed Nanjing slowly.
