The hotel is literally next to the Tulou buildings. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable.

Located in the middle of Tianluokeng Tulou... feel like staying with communities... the aunty cook are delicious... feel like home...

Its a homestay. The owner is staying there. Located next to the Tianluokeng Tulou. Room with attached bathroom, and its a western style toilet, not the squat type. The owner is a kind elderly lady and she cooked breakfast and dinner for us for 3 days. She will personally bring Guest that stay here for a tour inside the tulous. There is a lot of stairs to climb so suggested to bring backpack

Tulou Viewing Platform Inn is a wonderful choice for experiencing the charm of Fujian’s tulou culture. The location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the iconic roundhouses. The owner is warm and hospitable, even cooking delicious local meals upon request. Amenities are basic but clean and well-maintained. Be aware of an entrance fee charged outside the main park—this is standard for visitors. Also, watch out for taxis trying to overcharge for entry into the park; negotiate the fare beforehand. Despite these minor inconveniences, the inn provides an authentic and memorable stay. Highly recommended for culture and nature enthusiasts!

It has been very nice experienced to stay inside the area. Host has been very nice to bring us tour around the area with explanation of the history. The apartment view is very nice too, and very clean. Host also provide good dinner and breakfast. Overall, a very nice experience and i do recommend to stay here.

My stay at this hotel was truly memorable! Situated in a remarkable location with stunning views of the surrounding scenery, it was a delight to wake up to such beauty every morning. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming, and her small restaurant added to the charm of the place. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, although the only downside was the very firm mattress. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend it to others!

What an amazing experience to live in the “chopsticks” buildings of the four dishes and one soup! This was a small and beautiful village and the family who ran the inn helped us carry our luggage up to the inn and later down to the inn. When we arrived they cooked a dinner which was reasonable in price based on a local menu. And then during dinner, they told us that one of the family members will be running a free tour of the Tulous of four dishes one soup for us in which they explained the history of the building of the tulous, especially the oval shaped tulou. Our guide was very funny with his stories (he spoke in Chinese) and it was a lovely time seeing the artists and candy makers in the Tulous. I would highly recommend this place. We did have to bring our own towels (or at least we brought our own and they didn’t supply one), so maybe best to check.

I loved my stay at this local lodging in the tulous. The owner helped arrange transportation from Xiamen to the tulous and tours of the local clusters. He was extremely accommodating and informative. The tulou cluster this lodging was in was quiet and calm and the atmosphere was lovely. The lodging could cook food for you if you requested it, we chose to eat dinner and breakfast there. The dinner had delicious local veggies and the breakfast was simple and filling. Staying here felt like living in someone’s home. Their kitchen was semi-outdoors, the room was simple but comfortable (with air conditioning and en suite bathroom). I loved it and wished I could stay an extra night. It’s probably best if you can speak Chinese, expect a hard bed, and basic amenities.

The location is right infront of tuluo attractions and a 5 mins car ride to top can view the overall landscape of tuluo . I was sick and they helped me to call a local doctor to attend to my illness. The family run business was friendly and help the guest in every way they can. The breakfast food they served was normal and you can request additional dishes for a small fee. They helped to washed my clothing and dry up.

A perfect stay. It is a rustic place on the outside, but very nicely arranged on the inside. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The owner is very kind. She can give you all the informantion about the sights around and she even helped us out when we ran out of the diapers for our baby and weren't able to find any shop that sells them in vicinity. Really very nice people!! The location could not be more perfect. It is just next to the Tulou buildings and only a few minutes walk from the viewing platform. Amazing! And so affordable as well! Definitely stay here if you want to visit this scenic area.

This place is suitable for those who wish to experience living with the locals in the countryside. The room is basic but clean and comfortable enough. The air is fresh and the view is superb especially early in the morning. However , it is best to travel light to this place as you do need to go up a flight a stairs.

We had a great stay here and would highly recommend staying here again. The rooms were clean and really quiet. The beds were comfy and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast is tasty traditional Congi with pickled veg and salty nuts. They welcomed us with hot tea every day which was a nice touch. Because it’s an old building there wasn’t a lot of light in the room but it didn’t bother us. The location was amazing, it’s right in small village where the famous Tianloukeng Tulou Cluster is. It’s a 2 mins walk straight to each Tulou from here and the balcony was really nice to sit and enjoy dinner with incredible views of the Tulous and the surrounding mountains. It’s also a 2 min walk to the entrance of the walk up to the Viewing Platform for a great aerial view of the cluster. We had delicious dinner here each night, the bamboo was lovely, as were the tofu and eggplant dishes. The air is so fresh! Would recommend pre-booking a driver, as transportation to and from the park is a little tricky if you are not self-driving. The staff were so friendly and helped us get to town and back for a low fee. We caught a bus down to the next scenic spot and had an incredible walk back through villages and nature on our way through the rice fields to get back. We stayed two nights and loved it.

I thought the accommodation in Tianluokeng Tulou Group would be very poor, but I didn't expect this small shop to give me a small surprise. It is only a few steps away from the scenic area, and it is high up, overlooking the entire scenic area. The room is clean and tidy, and has a private bathroom. The food cooked by the boss lady is also delicious. The photo is breakfast.

The B&B exceeded expectations. First of all, the location is excellent. It is located at the highest point of the Tianluokeng Tulou Group. You can take pictures of the Tulou in the B&B. There was morning fog today, and it was like being in a fairyland. Go to the observation deck. Their home is the closest, about 10 minutes walk away; secondly, the room is clean and comfortable; and their dishes are delicious; finally, the boss Xiao Huang is a good photographer, and the photos he took for you are absolutely beautiful.
