A fantastic stay which truly puts you in the mood of Pingyao Ancient City. I received a very welcome room upgrade and had a splendid time. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, offering a pickup/drop-off service to/from Pingyao station.

Reception speaks english. Traditional bed was very huge and super comfortable to sleep. Pipes in the bathroom are old and for thos reason stinky. Power of hot water innpipe is poor but os enough to take a slow shower. Showet is fulfilled with water which doesnt go away fast.

Excellent stay. It's a massive complex with many sections, looks beautiful day and night, perfect location near entrance gate to city wall and main roads. Room was big, clean, comfortable and nicely designed. Toiletries and breakfast included, good food. Staff very friendly, helpful and patient with my attempts at chinese/using a translator app. Overall great value, no issues at all.

Located inside the ancient city walls close to a number of attractions including South Street. The pick up and drop off service from the high speed railway station is a big plus with regards this hotel. Don't expect much else though. The rooms are dated, service mediocre and the breakfast adequate.

We visited in July 2022, it was very nice and friendly for foreigners. They provided a free pick-up and drop-off service from the train station and helped us organise transport to Mianshan. The staff were very kind and patient. We really enjoyed our stay

The lady arranged a special car for the trip to and from the high-speed railway station👍 When I came back, I left my phone in the car. The driver turned back halfway and sent it to Pingyao High-speed Railway Station. Thank you very much🙏🙏🙏 The hotel is quaint and has a great location. There is Chenghuang Temple in the north, Confucian Temple in the west, and the east gate of the ancient city is just a few hundred meters away in the east. The hotel recommended by a friend is really good. The park is very large, with several courtyards of different sizes. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is the largest inn in Pingyao Ancient City. It is quite cold in winter, but there is floor heating, so the room is very warm.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the central streets and various attractions. It is worth mentioning that the hotel is very friendly to guests who come by public transportation, and can provide free pick-up and drop-off at the station, which is great. I will definitely stay here again, no problem.

The hotel is very unique and antique. Fortunately, in such a cold weather, the Grand Theater is one of the few hotels that has floor heating. Walking in the hotel gives me a sense of time travel. I will come again in the future.

You can get a lot of warm tips and even surprises when you stay in a hotel. From the driver to the front desk to the room service, they always think about the guests and are very satisfied.

The room is grand, clean and beautiful. It is connected with the Pingyao Guild Hall. The hotel's buffet is also good. It is next to the Confucian Temple. The hotel has upgraded the room type. It has two floors. Each floor has a TV and bathroom. The only thing is that it is not very comfortable. Conveniently, there is a clothes dryer on the page, but there is no one, and there is no place to hang the clothes after washing. It would be perfect if it could be improved.
