Romantic Hotels in Nanjing

This is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host. 这是一个非常好的民宿。 这民宿地点是在塔下村。 塔下村是个地点比较安静， 不商业化的土楼景区。 对住客来说是很有私人空间。民宿就在河溪旁边，晚上睡觉时， 还可听见河溪的流水声。 早上在塔下村四处走走， 村民都对游客很友善， 没有对我有任何商业销售产品的压力。 民宿的老板很友善， 很肯帮助客人。这跟一般的其他酒店的住宿都很不一样。 老板也指点我如何去其他的土楼景点， 和去附近的价钱公道的餐馆用餐。

Totally bowled over by this place It was a two hour ride from Xiamen and you started realising it was really special when you enter Taxia village. The resort is an integral part of the village and the local villagers were sunning their harvests next to it. From the moment you walked into the resort, you could feel that you will be well taken care of. So much love and dedication was done in building the place, it felt totally seamless with the surrounding traditional houses and yet, the level of luxury is no different from any 5 star hotel. Each nook and cranny were beautiful and I could spend a whole day just looking them We stayed in the double room unit which was located across the stream from the reception with views to die for and so much privacy. Food was hearty and more than enough Don't miss our on their activities Would love to go back again

Really excellent experience at Renjia Inn. Situated right by the river, which is the soundtrack to your stay. Room was clean, spacious with a great river view opposite Heguili Tulou. The owner is unbelievably helpful, sent him a text message and within minutes responding to me on wechat to organise collection from Nanjing. Also organised a driver to take me around the rest of the Tulou area and transport back to Nanjing station. I could not have asked a better service.

The most sensible choice for this trip to Yunshuiyao is to stay in this B&B. The B&B is located in the core of the scenic area 50 meters behind the waterwheel, which is very convenient for travel. There is also a large parking lot, so self-driving parking is stress-free. The room is clean, tidy and warm, and the layout is especially suitable for parent-child families. The focus is to praise his restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and original. Each dish is superbly cooked with local characteristics, which satisfies the taste of the whole family. The boss is hospitable and the service is thoughtful. Here, adults can relax and children can play to their heart's content. It is really a good place for parent-child vacation. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful experience in this guest house. The people who manage the guest house are very nice and accomodating . Even if we cant communicate well because they cant understand English, they give their best to help us .The guest house is inside the village of the Tianluokeng Tulou Clusters and at the back of this house is the viewing deck . The owner helped us booked a taxi to pick us up Nanjing station and show us around the different Tulous . The driver is very nice and took nice photos of us too! The food is very good , we liked the chaofan and the taro/ sweet potato balls. Its not your typical hotel stay, but it has everything you need and the over all experience is what I like best

The room is clean and tidy, and there is free breakfast. It is very pet-friendly. The room is in the center of the scenic area, very close to Huaiyuan Tower and Hegui Tower. There are a lot of food nearby. The boss will call in advance to inform you about entering the scenic area and parking. It was already ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived. The boss guy would go to the parking lot to help with luggage. The room was very stylish, the mattress was super soft, the breakfast was quite rich, and there was a cute Labrador, which is very suitable for families. Travel and self drive with pets.

As it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

A very satisfactory B&B. It is located by the water. It is quiet in the bustle. It is very quiet at night. It is in the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area. It takes 8 minutes to walk slowly to Huaiyuan Tower. There is no charge to climb the tower at night. It takes 7 minutes to walk to the central waterwheel. The bar there is very lively with singing at night and the night view is super beautiful. Has its own parking lot. The boss is warm and hospitable, and he will take the initiative to pick us up in the parking lot and drag our luggage. The room is clean and beautiful, the bedding is clean and comfortable to sleep on. The package includes an afternoon tea with delicious cakes, watermelon, and chrysanthemum tea. The food at the B&B is delicious, including tiger tail chicken soup, sweet potato leaves, tofu stew, and stir-fried bamboo shoots. The wine brewed by the owner is delicious. Breakfast is also good, clean and hygienic. The next day at noon, I ate the braised noodles made by the boss, which was great.

Overall it's okay, especially the introduction of chartered cars, which is cost-effective and doesn't rip off customers. However, the breakfast is not very good. The breakfast level can be improved overall.
