Boma Inn Nairobi Reviews

The Boma Inn is good value for money in a very good location if you need to transit to/from Jomo Kenyatta airport or the SGR Terminus station. What adds to the value is that you pay the affordable price for the Inn but you can access the 5-star facilities at The Boma, such as bar, coffee lounge and pool.  Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Not everything is working perfectly but for that price I am still very satisfied overall and happy to recommend this place.

Budget version of the more expensive Boma Nairobi. Bathroom small but still OK. Good for a few nights stay at budget prices

Front desk service is good, room is dated, just good for a one night transfer stay. Boma inn is a cheaper version of the Boma hotel, you got what you pay for, so no complaints. You can use the facilities in Boma hotel. Tembo restaurant is good too.

It's not that clean. The air-conditioning doesn't work. I was changed to a different room. Even that air-condition didn't work. The reception lady was nice enough to provide fan. But customer service not that great. The toilet was particularly dirty. One light didn't work so it was quite dim in the toilet. Only provided 1 towel. Had to ask for one more. Seems like they don't check the room properly before giving to the guests. If some effort is put in, this hotel would be a nice place to stay in.

Great place for an overnight sleep when in transit. Clean and suitable for my needs.

Booking with Ctrip is cheaper than booking and on-site booking. Boma Inn and Boma are two hotels. Boma is much more expensive, but they are in the same place. The room is quite big. You can take a taxi when you go out. It takes about ten minutes to drive from the airport and about the same distance to the city center. There is an outlet not far away. Although it is not big, you can go shopping in the supermarket. Overall, I am quite satisfied.

Don't stay here. The water quality is very poor and contains aromatic hydrocarbons. The room is not clean, the air conditioner is broken, and Ctrip did not provide any substantial help.

The sanitation environment and services are very good

Although it was hard to find, the staff were kind and the building was clean, making it a very nice place to stay. Breakfast was served in the annex.
