ANA Crowne Plaza Nagasaki Gloverhill Reviews

One of the bigger rooms I had on my trip to Japan. Great location and don t miss the excellent lunch buffet with harbour view. Will come back@

The lobby is somewhat dated but has a retro charm to it. I stayed in a standard double room which is spacious enough for one person but would be a bit cramped for two. The room seems to have been renovated recently as the fixtures, furnishings and appliances look quite new. The small balcony overlooking Glover Street is a plus. The staff at the front desk, concierge and the restaurant are all super nice and helpful. The location is very convenient. The Oura Cathedral tram stop is just down the street and many attractions such as Glover Garden, Dejima, Confucius Shrine & Museum, Holland Zaka, Gunkanjima Digital Museum are within walking distance.

It is not far from Changjiu Port and Changjiu Station. There is a Catholic church and ancient buildings nearby. Transportation is also convenient. It is not too far to go anywhere. There is a tram stop nearby!

The location is very good, and it is very convenient for traveling and sightseeing. There are many attractions such as Oura Catholic Church next to it. The price is cheaper than the business hotels near the station (yes, I'm talking about you JR Kyushu).

The hotel is a bit I, but you can stay at ease. The building and interior are a bit old, but the front desk reception is OK and good, and customer satisfaction is high. The former Tokyu Hotel is now operated as the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel, and as expected, the staff is well-trained

The room was clean and spacious, and I was able to relax in the twin room! I wish the parking space was a little larger.

To be honest, I booked it without doing any detailed research or knowing the location, but based it on the price and the name value of ANA. Recently, whenever I stay in a city, except in hot spring areas, I usually stay at business hotels of major chains. I arrived at the hotel by taxi. As soon as the taxi door opened, a staff member immediately ran over to me and greeted me politely. After that, another staff member was at the automatic door and opened it just in time for me to walk by, as expected! I was impressed with the ANA hotel and the "hotel" after such a long time. When I arrived at my room, I was surprised to see that Glover Garden was behind it! In front of the hotel was the pier. It was the best location to feel Nagasaki. The staff's service was first-rate. The entire building was clean, and the hotel's location and the view from the room were perfect. The restaurant on the second floor was delicious despite being reasonably priced for a hotel. I had no complaints about anything about my stay. I will definitely return.

As for amenities, there was only a comb, not a brush. You need to remember to bring face wash, lotion, milky lotion, etc. The business hotel I stayed at the next day had better amenities, so I thought it was a bit disappointing, given the name.

It is a bit far from the center of Nagasaki and requires two transfers on the Nagasaki tram to get there. Near Oura Catholic Church, although you can hear the noises of nearby tourists in the morning, it is very quiet at night. The room was clean.

It's close to tourist spots, so it's good for hanging out. The only downside is that it's a little far from places to go drinking at night.

It had the air of a long-established establishment, and the service was polite and clean. The breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is quite old. It is clean and the service is OK, but the soundproofing is too poor. You can hear any noise from the neighbors. I didn't sleep well all night. It is the worst hotel with the worst soundproofing I have ever stayed in Japan. The location is good, and the cathedral and park are just a 2-minute walk away.

The hotel is located on the seafront, and you can see the sea and cruise ships from the mini balcony. There are bus stops and tram stops right outside, and a convenience store downstairs, so you can walk to the beach. There is also a pedestrian street downstairs leading to Gobala Park and the Cathedral, with many small shops to hang out. There are attractions right outside, and I took my kids to the famous Anime Slope, which is on the hill behind the hotel. The room is not big, but it is above average in Japan. The service is satisfactory.
