Preferred Hotels in Munich

We were to meet at the information desk at Munich Central Station to go on a tour of Neuschwanstein Castle early the next morning, so this hotel was very convenient as it was located very close to the station. There was an entrance to an underground passage in front of the hotel, and if you follow the signs, you can get to Munich Central Station. In the basement, there are shops selling bread and salads, McDonald's, Kingsburger, Thai restaurants, Italian restaurants, and more, open from early in the morning until late at night. In midsummer in Germany, it is impossible to live without an air conditioner, but this hotel does not have one. For security reasons, we could not open the windows wide, so it was very hot. However, the man at the front desk was handsome and kind, and he replaced the broken fan right away.

Service at Bayerischer Hof starts outside, when arriving by car: They take care of your luggage and take the keys to park your car. Reception is very friendly, helpful and effectively under the Corona-Regulations, to provide a good room for you. Breakfast is still good, but before Corona-Times it was definitely better. I only managed a Dinner at Trader Vic's, which is quite nice for tourists, but not the original food I know from Asia myself. The four days at the Bayerischer Hof were the most comfortable time I had this year. And now I plan to be back there in December - same hotel.

The hotel has a very beautiful view. Munich's New Town Hall is right outside the window. The hotel service is also good.
